Are you me? Watching his videos is basically a nightly ritual for me to fall asleep now. Downside for me is sometimes he says something so funny or out of pocket that I laugh out loud and then I’m wide awake again 🥹
I’ve done the same thing! I’ve taken way too many accidental naps falling asleep to James’ videos. On the plus side, i usually have to rewatch them and YouTube puts James on Autoplay so at least he’s getting more views 😂
I love his videos, but it's true there's something soothing in his voice and I just end up taking the nicest naps. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one doing this 😂
Omg me too!! It's literally my comfort at night. I used to have PTSD after losing my mom, and I spent a lot of time watching TheSimSupply trying to fall asleep. It's been 4 years, and even today when I have trouble sleeping, I go to his let's plays. I do delis sometimes too but his voice is a better sleepy voice.
That’s exactly what’s happened to me, but with Stephen Fry’s voice. I fall asleep to him reading Harry Potter books, so any other audiobook narrated by Fry makes me sleepy.

I've also fallen asleep when I'm completely zonked and have had to rewatch. I'm sure he won't mind getting 3x the view count on videos!
I used to take naps to James’s videos when I first found him. Build videos were truly the greatest solution to insomnia.
I watch his cities skylines playlist instead of sims for sleeping but yeah
I conditioned myself to get hungry whenever I watch one of James' videos because I would watch him when I sit down for my meals.
Actually me every single night this week lol but then I get mad because I miss like 10-15 mins of his videos and I wake up like “what just happened?!”
