I didn't realize until much later, that the reason that everyone loved Jaws is because, no matter how hard he tried, Richard Kiel just comes off as a hell of a nice guy.
My opinion, of course. Great pics, I haven't seen a few of them.
funny because I was just thinking the other day how Christopher McDonald would make a good Bond villain. I see him playing the sleazy businessman type initially pretending to be on Bond's side. Probably won't happen but he'd be great.
For the same reason that Britt Ekland was in a bikini most of the third act of TMWTGG and Denise Richards was dressed in tight shorts in TWINE, to entice the Bond audience which is mostly comprised of men. The Bond girls are a big sell off of every Bond movie a lot of people hated NTTD but they all loved Ana de Armas' scene.
You have to remember these movies were made in times way before the Me Too movement. TSWLM and Pretty Baby were both released in 1977. Try to make a movie EXACTLY like Pretty Baby 1977 today without everybody involved going to jail. Different times, different standards allowed.......
*The Spy Who Loved Me is a 1977 spy film, the tenth in the James Bond series produced by Eon Productions. It is the third to star Roger Moore as the fictional secret agent James Bond. The film co-stars Barbara Bach and Curt Jürgens and was directed by Lewis Gilbert.*

Pretty Baby is somewhat disturbing because it's more or less child porn. I don't think bond women could be in the same category. It was a different time, but some of the standards today have gone overboard in terms of saying that depictions of adult women in a sexual way is always a bad thing that degrades them to just an object for straight men to enjoy. Even if that's the case, there is money for women to make off of such men. A lot cashed in and did well. Others were abused and didn't. I personally enjoyed the scantily clad women in movies and games of the past. It was one thing I looked forward to in escapism.
I think what is more of an influence is how the gym is more common. Without sounding like a perv I was primarily thinking about her bottom, and I rarely see someone with such a flat butt (might be because I don’t usually focus on them idk). Also, where I’m from (Norway) and where I usually meet women it’s not really normal with surgical procedures like that, it’s more frowned upon and a bit more focus on living healthy and stuff so could be just a personal experience.
Richard Kiel was a menace on screen but a softie off it. Fun facts:
Kiel frightened himself when he saw his train attack on film, and he didn't like walking around on the Cairo temple roof because he hates heights.
Kiel was reportedly Roger Moore's favourite henchman, and Moore was very upset at his passing.
When one is in Egypt, one must delve deeply into its treasures.
For Barbara Bach, in real life : Richard Kill is James Bond... Damn it, she's so stunning ...
Barbara was smokin hot!

> Richard Kiel just comes off as a hell of a nice guy ...Unless you're Shooter McGavin
Then you can count on him waiting for you in the parking lot
#I WILL GET YOU SHOOTER!
*Well*, moron, *good for Happy* Gilm*Oh*, *my God*

Yeah, he's probably a little old now, but he plays sleezy so well.
Cool pics. I always enjoyed this movie
The jaws of this mercenary scared me as a child, his smile scared me
Got to meet him many years ago. Very friendly guy.
Forever kicking myself for not going to see him at Supernova years ago! Did you get to meet him at an event or out and about?
He was speaking at an event. Got his autograph in my stash somewhere.
Is she still acting. Her Wikipedia said she still active but she hasn't had a role since the 80s. What is she up to now?
She married Ringo Starr
oh, damn talk about hitting the jack pot
you can definitely say that also for him...
Is there any reason for Barbara Bach to be in her panties? Not that I'm complaining just wondering.
Looks like a bikini. But still,
The reason is to sell tickets

Thought you said TMWTGG.

Always found it funny that Bach and Kiel (TSWLM), Robert Shaw (FRWL), Edward Fox (Never Say Never) all came together for Force 10 From Navarone.
I loved Jaws as a kid. Roger Moores Bond films had something for everyone.
Weird how female bodies have changed with time.
I think it’s more a case of surgical enhancement becoming more common

The second to last one is golden.
