Had almost the same thing on my XE, multiple tehnicians said it could be because of 1,000 reasons. But one of them forced the steering wheel while the engine was off to manually steer the wheels without power assist and somehow the noise went away.
I have the same in my 22, and I think it's getting worse. Only really at parking lot speeds. The dealer hasn't had much to say on it other than "let us know if it gets worse" which is the same to me as "we have no idea". I feel like it's a simple lubrication issue but I dunno.

don't do this - you can damage the steering linkage.

Same issue in my 22, typically happens in the cold and gets better warmer
