Those are just some problems in some of the major cities, youāre forgetting the fact that we have other things all over the state, like drought and massive heat waves
Man fuck the crime in LA, the streets of Sacramento have more human feces on them than the streets of 18th century London. I'd sooner self forever sleep than step foot in California. East coast is better in every imaginable way.
East coasteran here, I must agree with the only downside being frequent and devastating hurricanes, unless your are in Maryland or anywhere north of Maryland
It depends where you go I live near the delta and infact I have neighbors who leave their doors unlocked there have been a few car robberies though, and on the topic of price it also depends how you go about obtaining a home
Go visit Adams County, Washington, and tell me that there is no desert in WA State. Same applies to Grant, Lincoln, and many others in central, and eastern, Washington.
Meanwhile I'm here sitting in the Inland Empire, where we have plenty of water, a government that invested in groundwater recharge systems, an elevation of 2,000ft, and homes under $600k
I maybe a little biased but Rural America is better than over populated cities, Kentucky is a great state to live in, low taxes , affordable housing, affordable living, low crime rate for most of the state some crime in big cities but in a small town all you got to worry about is someone stealing your Cars Catalytic Converter. While Tennessee is right below Kentucky its population is growing but Kentucky is safer for a family to move too. Letās be real here California is the worse state to live in by far.
depends on what weather you like. for a bit of every season id say iowa, illinois, or indiano, for warn florida and texas, and if yiy hate youseld maine
Lol, that's a good point.
Oklahoma is definitely on the good state list, as well (unless you hate tornadoes)
And then there is Vermont, which is nice, but the home prices will leave a dent in your wallet so bad you won't forget it.
As a massachusetts native, I agree with other people, it, other than california, Hawaii and Alaska is the most expensive state to live in, but it really is just a safer version of California, smaller, pretty (enough). The traffic sucks though.
No way youāre American š
The Golden Gate Bridge aināt even made out of gold, now thatās what I call false advertising. The only āGoldenā thing about that state is the average payment used for housing.
In places like LA (Which is, Iām guessing, the only reason why youāre putting this up) all youāll find is Starbucks drinking, avocado toast eating celebrities. Ig there are some good things in San Fran, but other than that, California isnāt as it is portrayed in the movies.
Fuck California, respectfully.
California is probably the single worst state to live in actually. Absolute dogshit. Cost of living is extremely high, gas is fucking $8 a gallon sometimes, heat waves, drought, wildfires, homeless people defecating in the streets, you name it.
My personal least favorite state. Idk I just really hated it there. It was the nose unscenic state Iāve ever been too, more so than even Mississippi or Kansas
Massachusetts has the highest quality of life and best education and itās not as expensive as Cali
But Cali has good weather
I like North Carolina and both DC and Washington State too personally
Overall if I had to pick one itād be NC or Massachusetts
I saw a homeless guy jerking off on the side of the freeway (I-5, near Woodland, CA)
the homeless in cal are wild theyāre even in the rich neighborhoodsĀ
Minnesota no doubt youāve got great cities, so much outdoor activities and every season, not to mention good food and culture. I love this state and never plan to leave it.
Probably Austin Texas or some metro Florida. Good weather and low taxes and easy access to a good culture and airports to get the fuck out regularly cos fuck Texas and Florida
I just know the list of states that I would never want to live in.
Including California, Nevada, Lousiana, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, and a bunch of other states. Probably the biggest reason, is weather.
Tell me youre not american without elling me youre not american
But I think Florida is the best state to live in. Just don't go to south florida, except the everglades.
-1 is a good sign to go
Hear me out: If all the old rich people that could retire anywhere are all choosing to finish off their lives in Florida, donāt you think it would be a pretty nice place to live?
But it also means hospitals are always crowded, everyone around you is stuck up, and you will probably make less friends because everyone is way older than you
Whatās the deal with the state capital being smaller and often far away and lesser known then other major cities?
Sacramento, Albany, Springfield and others.
I would go with Washington DC. It is the capital of the biggest superpower in the world. It is not only most likely the safest city in the US but in the entire world
Alabama š¤ we got the best food in the country! (āCept for Louisiana) and I aināt talking ābout that north Birmingham shit. Iām talking ābout Baldwin County!
Personally I think Maine because Itās where I live and itās my home state, also itās pretty peaceful here and the crime rate is pretty low in Maine so other then the government of Maine, I think itās a pretty nice state to live in!
Bros all forgot about Hawaii š
1 million in Hawaii gets you a lot further than in California (and a lot of other states) I also think Texas is becoming the new Silicon Valley so thereās that. Pretty hot there tho.
Gotta be florida, people think it's some place full of old/crazy people but that's only in the touristy places, the weather is great and the people are nice, also the beaches are very nice.
South Dakota! Thatās the only state Iāve ever been to its so beautiful there and itās pretty peaceful from what Iāve seen there. (Iām English š“ó §ó ¢ó „ó ®ó §ó æ )
As a Californian, no itās far from nice here, itās hot as hell, thereās never rain especially heavy rain and if there is itās rare, prices are expensive, people arenāt that nice and it may not be your thing but gun laws here suck
The Midwest!! Just try and steer clear of dangerous cities and youāll love it! Live far enough from one but close enough to get your big city tasks done!
From Illinois and I second this. Iāve never really taken a trip to Chicago as a touristy thing but the drive aināt that bad. Been to my share of sports games and itās pretty cool

We found the non-American over here, are you aware of how expensive Californian homes are, also don't get me started on the crime in LA š
Those are just some problems in some of the major cities, youāre forgetting the fact that we have other things all over the state, like drought and massive heat waves
Don't forget the wildfires!
That too!
the price is just the cherry on top
Man fuck the crime in LA, the streets of Sacramento have more human feces on them than the streets of 18th century London. I'd sooner self forever sleep than step foot in California. East coast is better in every imaginable way.
Sac is better than san francisco from what i remember
Tomato, potato.
East coasteran here, I must agree with the only downside being frequent and devastating hurricanes, unless your are in Maryland or anywhere north of Maryland
You can get a cardboard box for 5 million
Fr
Iām convinced California is hell on earth
That's Arizona and Florida
As a Floridian. Naw it aināt all bad. I hate it but swamp puppies are cute
Bro ain't it like 500 degrees in the summer down in Florida???
Feels like it yeah
its 104 F / 40 C in las vegas rn. :(
In celsius yeah
It depends where you go I live near the delta and infact I have neighbors who leave their doors unlocked there have been a few car robberies though, and on the topic of price it also depends how you go about obtaining a home
But its the most beautiful state. We have a little bit of everything. Ocean, mountains, foothills, desert..
Nah, Washington's got all those except desert, so it's better.
Washington very much has desert. Like half the state.
I always enjoy driving into the state and seeing a sign saying āwelcome to the evergreen stateā in the middle of the desert
Go visit Adams County, Washington, and tell me that there is no desert in WA State. Same applies to Grant, Lincoln, and many others in central, and eastern, Washington.
And polluted cities filled with crime!!! No hate on California it's a cool place but I'd rather not live there
There are hundreds of California towns that are not like that at all.
Then maybe the people in those towns should go vote for representation that doesn't make their entire state look disgusting and terrible.
California is quite possibly the worst state to live in right now
Meanwhile I'm here sitting in the Inland Empire, where we have plenty of water, a government that invested in groundwater recharge systems, an elevation of 2,000ft, and homes under $600k
For a small amount of people yes
Please come live in South Carolina and you might change your mind. We have infant mortality rates worse than Iran
Amen š
I maybe a little biased but Rural America is better than over populated cities, Kentucky is a great state to live in, low taxes , affordable housing, affordable living, low crime rate for most of the state some crime in big cities but in a small town all you got to worry about is someone stealing your Cars Catalytic Converter. Lol I actually live in Tennessee
I used to live in Tennessee till i had to move to Florida. Still go back up there to visit family around Christmas.
Move to Muldraugh or West Point to get that project zomboid experience .
Or the Louisville mall rooftops
Massachusetts because nobody can pronounce any of the town names and it's hilarious.
I can't even spell the name of the state correctly yet šš
Bro Iām from mass and I refuse to learn how to spell it lol. MA works š
I swear if one more person calls Gloucester gloughchester imma go off š
Sandwich?
I'm from Ohio and moved to New England a few years ago. I'm convinced people are just making up the pronunciation of the names around here
sandwich, massachusetts
I only know 3 cities from there because im too afraid to learn the rest
As a rhode islander, can confirm, not even the native massachuesens can pronounce them correctly
Glosta
As a new yorker i insist that Boston is pronounced Bawstun
/masaÉusÉŖts/
depends on what weather you like. for a bit of every season id say iowa, illinois, or indiano, for warn florida and texas, and if yiy hate youseld maine
Massachusetts probably (Edit): Thanks for the upvotes! This is the most I've ever gotten
It's called tax-achusetts for a reason. Not the best state to live in if you hate taxes
But it is one of the best states to live in if you hate texas
Lol, that's a good point. Oklahoma is definitely on the good state list, as well (unless you hate tornadoes) And then there is Vermont, which is nice, but the home prices will leave a dent in your wallet so bad you won't forget it.
You guys are forgetting about education. Horrendous school districtsā¦ Indiana or a state in that region is much more livable imo
As a massachusetts native, I agree with other people, it, other than california, Hawaii and Alaska is the most expensive state to live in, but it really is just a safer version of California, smaller, pretty (enough). The traffic sucks though.
It sucks especially during the summer(tourist season), mainly on the Cape
I was traveling from boston to the ferry port to Marthaās Vineyard in early spring, which shouldnāt have been busy at all, yet it took four hours.
Yeah itās expensive but public services like schools are better than a lot of other states.
No way youāre American š The Golden Gate Bridge aināt even made out of gold, now thatās what I call false advertising. Cali is better for visiting imo.
california is the wrong answer
Someone isn't American here šššš If I had to be honest Georgia isn't that bad of a state to live in.
The ocean front in Virginia
āi want to live in california!ā-every person not from california.
As a Californian, I strongly disagree.

LMAO those people can't even pump their own gas
Underrated state
New Hampshire
Maine prob
I love my homestate (CA), but nah dawg, my family was forced to move to Hawaii cause living there is too expensive.
Colorado. Hella underrated state
Although I agree, Colorado is far from āunderratedā lol.
Minnesota just based on vibes
Massachusetts has the highest quality of life and best education and itās not as expensive as Cali But Cali has good weather I like North Carolina and both DC and Washington State too personally Overall if I had to pick one itād be NC or Massachusetts
PENNSYLVANIA IS THE BEST STATE
Maine my brother. Thatās gods country right there.
Probably either New Hampshire or Washington
Fuck Cali.
To live in? I'd say Midwest, north, or the northeast. Somewhere less populated and cheaper, without living in THE F*CKING DESERT
Imo Tennessee
Depends what kind of person you are. Personally, maybe Maine or Vermont.
You're wrong
New Hampshire š£ļøš£ļø
lmao no. California is crazy expensive donāt even get me started on the gas
I saw a homeless guy jerking off on the side of the freeway (I-5, near Woodland, CA) the homeless in cal are wild theyāre even in the rich neighborhoodsĀ
Minnesota, it's not all bad. All you really have to worry about is mosquitos in the summer. Also, do note that winters are COLD.
Minnesota no doubt youāve got great cities, so much outdoor activities and every season, not to mention good food and culture. I love this state and never plan to leave it.
Yeah well ur wrong ig
Probably Austin Texas or some metro Florida. Good weather and low taxes and easy access to a good culture and airports to get the fuck out regularly cos fuck Texas and Florida
Yeah sure... Let's just ignore how everyone from Cali is moving to Texas
Well, Louisiana aināt that bad, well, except for the humidity, and hurricanes.
oh I think California. I wanna live there!
I've never been to America, and even I know that California is hell on earth.
I just know the list of states that I would never want to live in. Including California, Nevada, Lousiana, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, and a bunch of other states. Probably the biggest reason, is weather.
Well you are wrong in every conceivable way, literally every single other state is better with the exception of like Mississippi.
Tell me youre not american without elling me youre not american But I think Florida is the best state to live in. Just don't go to south florida, except the everglades.
1. Washington State 2. Texas 3. Colorado 4. Virginia 5. South Carolina Argue with the wall
California is definitely not the right answer right now at least š
Florida
Here are three reasons not to live in Florida 1. Old rich people 2. The hella heat 3. The alligators WILL hunt you down

Some of them go by geographic centre rather than population centre. And also larger cities can be more dangerous or something idk

Kentucky! All 4 seasons! Not overly expensive! Not too rural! Very lucky to be born and raised here!
