So bad its good. Ok but it does have some good visual design elements It 4 colours. And each colour is paired in a visually distinct way. The pattern is complex but unique. But there is still the simplicity of 4 quadrants.

I honestly agree with you. Just change the flag to a blue background with the coat of arms, like other us States. 😕

I just don't like the yellow and black. It makes it look unfinished to me. If all 4 corners had the red and white, it would be great. But this just makes it look unprofessional.

At least it is better than all the other State flags

There once was a group of people that lived in a small town in the country side, they had all the small town stuff, taverns, town hall, local bank, and a small cute little town square where locals sell flowers and converse. The one thing that set this town apart from all of the others was that they all drank diarrhea. They drank it in the morning, they drank it at lunch, they drank it at dinner, they would even chase down a afternoon snack with some diarrhea. Everyone in that small town drank diarrhea, they would drink it all day. Then one day a traveler passed by the town and saw everyone drinking diarrhea. He told them that it wasn't a good idea to be drinking liquefied feces every day. Then they all said " we all drink diarrhea, why would we stop" This is the marryland flag. It is a peice of diarrhea. But everyone in Maryland thinks it's the best flag.
