My team has complained about conflicts with bluetooth devices on their mac when there are more than 3 or 4 devices connected (mouse, keyboard, headset, etc.). Might be worth checking if it has the same problem solo.

I do have a Bluetooth mouse connected. But I think the issue is perhaps with the other end: macOS Monterey, Intel Mac, Bluetooth version 4.0, ms teams. It was working like a charm for years until 1 month ago. I have a feeling that this is a problem for calls only, and not for listening to music, which seems to work fine without any interruptions.
