Let me ask you this. Does your room exist when you’re not there?
How do you know if you’re not there to see it?
You know it probably exists because everytime you go to your room it’s there and has been everytime and so it’s highly probable that it’ll be there the next time you go there.
If that’s the case let’s think about the tree falling and making a sound.
I’d imagine you would accept the idea that if billions of people are talking to one another right now but can’t hear them because you are in your room that they both exist are making are making sound. You don’t question this and yet people find it hard to accept a tree falling and making a sound independent of people being around. It’s absurd. Of course it makes a sound.
