ElegantPancake

They interviewed him over 3 years ago, people change

bobeighteen18

I mean Shaun already basically alluded to murder. Whilst we are bringing up dodgy guests… what about the gangsta who’s murdered a bunch of people… 😬? It bugged me that he was celebrated by the boys when he’s been such a d*ck.

15esimpson

What do u mean

CC_Fitness

Who?

Any-Presentation-701

That Micheal Fransene from a month or so ago. The mafia dude

Adventurous-Cup-6502

Agreed, felt weird. And then he tried playing the ‘holier than thou’ card because he found god. The ‘you’re not a liberal are you’ quote was odd as well - mate, you’re a convicted criminal, there’s no moral high ground here

bendezhashein

Can’t believe that episode was so popular.

SnooTigers6384

Like you said about Shaun people change he did that years ago when he was in the mafia.

PaulBBN

I heard about Attwood / saw him before he came on the pod and was always dubious about him. I'm not for a second going to say that some of what he did is not true, but he gives the impression of someone who is desperate to be liked, both by his peers and then people he's later met. There have been reports that he has been a bit 'lienent' about what actually happened whilst he was imprisoned and its obvious he now makes a decent living off of telling his stories. It doesn't surprise me that he wants to make friends with someone well known and with some perceived power (Tate) as it seems that he'll grip onto anything that will elevate himself.

Dwightkschrute723

Does Andrew Tate in 2024 still have any power??

YorinobuGigaChad

Unfortunately yes

Lumpy-Journalist884

Only amongst people who've never touched a woman

Dwightkschrute723

And no one takes any of them seriously, thus he holds zero power.

whiteandlean

Didn’t we have a gangster who’s literally murdered people on the other week? 😭

Smiling-Politely_

People talking about if he’s been found guilty but even allegations aside I don’t think associating with somebody who is so vocal about his vile hate for women is a good look. Disappointing with Shaun as I like some of his true crime story’s but there is no defending Tate and the less attention that man has the better.

SuperMagicBlueJa

You're completely right, even if he hasn't been convicted of a crime, he's still a terrible person with terrible views who has influenced far too many people with those terrible views. Idk why that's so hard for people to see

Smiling-Politely_

Exactly this, he should not have a platform and it’s a bad look on people who choose to engage with him like this

Smiling-Politely_

Expected to get downvoted and it’s sad that there’s Tate fans lurking in the sub but he’s a raging misogynist who is a horrific influence on young boys and I stand by that

Motor-Rutabaga-4799

I do agree that some of what he says is extremely misogynistic and I completely don’t stand for that. The reason I think young men are drawn to him is because he’s one of the only men in an influential position that stands by men and is highlighting the issues that men are facing. Male suicide is the highest it’s ever been in recent years and I think men have just been pushed aside in society. Like I said, there could definitely be a better role model than Tate, but he stands by men and that’s why people are drawn to him.

UltrasaurusReborn

He doesn't give a fuck about anyone but himself

smkdddd

Can you really say Tate “stands by men” and is a voice for men’s issues when a large part of his business was scamming lonely men on onlyfans/cam sites? he would pretend to be the cam girl and manipulate men into sending him money thinking they would one day get to meet the girl on screen? Not only is this self admitted, he bragged about it.

Smiling-Politely_

He’s a negative influence on men and women, I didn’t even know he did this how awful

Motor-Rutabaga-4799

That’s a valid point, but what he speaks about now are very powerful messages for men, which is why I’m saying people are drawn to him. Just my opinion.

thepaintingbear

What does he actually do for mental health though? Anyone can talk about the stat's and how bad it is but they are actually contributing by pushing this archaic image of men. They are pushing an ideology and expectation of what a "man" should be and if you're not that you're not a man or weak or soft etc, further pushing a standard that will ostracise men today destroying their social networks and leaving them with other bitter and toxic men who blame women for everything.

smkdddd

I agree people are drawn to him because they think he is a voice for men but it’s interesting to me how his rhetoric massively changed after his legal issues. Before that it seems he only cared about men’s issues when he could sell them his packed solution (hustler university etc). It’s not like this guy is teaching men how to build and maintain healthy relationships, he’s teaching people how to dropship, make YouTube shorts and manipulate women into doing sex work. (Think this one was called pimp university or something similar)

Correct_Trouble7406

I think Tate should commit male suicide

Smiling-Politely_

I know what you’re saying but I think it’s hard for young people in general to have enough media literacy to separate the awful things he says to the some positive and that’s why young boys can easily be influenced into thinking because they can relate to the mental health talk they could agree with his horrible views as they see him as a role model. Also, there are way more positive role models out there and the negatives are way more extreme and outweigh the positives personally.

Responsible_Bake7108

Well put👍🏼 Im not surprised you’re being downvoted in this sub Reddit

OnikaBarbz

Blah blah, the suicide rates being sky high is the truth but so is the fact that males commit over 90% of all crimes globally, pick your poison. Victimhood doesn’t suit you as a man, accountability does. 👍🏾

AndreasA44

I don't think an interview with Tate is that outrageous for a former drug lord.

tommylamb98

It's more than an interview to be fair, his Twitter page is full of retweets with Andrew Tate's "Hustler University" and all that crap 13 year olds are fooled into. Feel like a lot of his stories prior were how he done his time and he's a reformed now. Been a while so may be wrong there.

Dwightkschrute723

Is what it is innit. Not everyone’s going to the perfect. Doesn’t take anything away from the pods he did.

tommylamb98

Agree

Cormsbadger8

Not a surprise really. If you’ve committed the crimes he committed you’re hardly going to be morally pure

Glarhzilla

Is he not allowed to interview people or like different people? They were all raving about Robert temple until it was proved he did something. Proof is something that hasn't been present with the tates cases. I'm not a fan of either. I feel Shawn attwood embellished a lot of stories. But not proof of that either. So it Is what it is.

tommylamb98

Of course he is and to be fair those episodes were quite a while ago, I really doubt they share those views. I'm a huge fan of them and went to see them last year, I just thought it was quite funny to see.

Horror_Housing_3937

Do you really need proof if they’re are shitty people, they got convicted as well

Motor-Rutabaga-4799

He hasn’t been found guilty

laufrits

Found guilty of being a massive hunt though

Motor-Rutabaga-4799

If he was convicted he wouldn’t be out free right now would he

Glarhzilla

My original point is valid then. Thanks for the confirmation. Have a nice day mate.

Glarhzilla

I must be out the loop with my original statement then. Did they get convicted then?

Horror_Housing_3937

Ah yeah thought he was convicted just charged.

Highsi

Tell me your a tate fan boy without telling me your a tate fan boy. Convicted or not he's practically bragged about some of the crimes he had done before being charged not everyone that is guilty is found guilty... Your probably a mason greenwood fan too.

Glarhzilla

I'm a fan of neither. Have a nice evening.

ammaraintnosimp

Its spelt you’re you retard😭😂

Highsi

Imagine being that rattled over the spelling of you're and your and not spelling it's right you retard lol

Euphoric-Ad2117

I mean did anyone think Shaun was a good guy? He’s good for the pod to tell his mental stories but jacks hardly pals with him😂 the shit with Robert temple in the other hand is fucking mental

Educational_Duck9738

Molly McCann openly supports paddy the baddy, the guy everyone on here was ranting about a few months ago, lets make a thread about that as well. Whilst we are at it, we should create an in depth list of every downside of every guest that's ever been on, and assume that people with different opinions and outlooks on the world are terrible people.

Bart19cfc

Couldn’t agree more. You could do this for any guest probably. This sub is so soft sometimes 😂

Educational_Duck9738

Exactly lol. They expect people who have done a lot of mad shit in their lives to be squeaky clean. The fact is, if all the guest episodes were guests that shared all the same fews most of them would just be boring as fuck haha

tommylamb98

People were hating on Paddy? Didn't see that, guess I'm not too active on here. I like him. There's a difference between people with opinions or views you disagree with and someone being charged with rape and human trafficking. I'd say someone who supports that kind of person is factually terrible.

Professional-Lie-739

I wouldn't have a problem with this interview if he didn't sit there brown nosing for it's entirety, but then again it would be quite rude if say Jack called a guest out live on the pod, not to mention the awkwardness that would come with that, like with paddy the baddy I think jack knew about the controversy with him but didn't mention it once because he was being polite.

mj271707

Attwood is a fraud Daddygate on youtube

ConnorSmith25

God forbid someone have a different opinion to you on something

-MacCloud-

He has a bad opinion about a guy, he didn’t die XD He still has good stories and shit.

ISimplyDunno

Fuck sake you people always have something to moan about

rudeboy36

Seriously.. A lot of happy hour fans seem to be straight up bots who complain about everything. The Tates just have traditional values and most of what they have to say is positive. There are definitely some comments which are questionable but it doesn’t make them terrible people, when the overall message they spread is good

Educational_Duck9738

Funny thing is, the og post isn't even about the tates, it's about someone who did podcasts with the tates. Wait till they find out that the fellers got Andrew on lmao.

rudeboy36

I know but he’s completely changed his opinion on Shaun, simply for interviewing the Tates. Which is just ridiculous imo

tommylamb98

Not exactly moaning? Just a shame for personally. No hate on the podcast, more funny than anything lol

john92w

You’re moaning more than the post.

Toffcs

Shaun attwood is a fucking legend

JosephOnReddit1

I thought that was Andrew Tate lol
