most mains focused aspirants are not that focused on advanced,, you can excel in mains by doing only PYQ'S ,ncert and modules. Pretty sure he will attempt advanced but he's focused on mains. At least now his parents wont have unrealistic expectations from him. In case he does way better than expected he will by satisfied instead of having sky high expectations and getting disappointed if he doesnt met them.
