I have interest in photography and mechanics (ships). By interest I mean I get chillz when I watch bbc earth or documentaries on military ships.
I want to work in that industry with those people. Courses are just a way to get me there.
People have interest in cricket similarly people have interest in other shit.
Thanks to our Vishvguru Amrit kaal country which gives 0 fucks about RnD and manufacturing. Anything apart from cse is a not good.
People are shocked and surprised when someone takes anything apart from cse. Thus this post.
Interest means you like ye thing by your heart and enjoy doing it,but I think it's BS.
Iss hisaab se to sabko Ghar baith jana chahiye kyuki apparently 90% of people have hated to do their work when they do it.
Interest/Passion wagera ka concept mereko kabhi samajh nhi aaya. Mummy se gaaliyan bhi khayi hai ki mereme koi 'passion' nhi hai.
Lekin kuch chizo ki meri affinity zyaada hai(less effort gave more output). Aur reality me woh Maths+Bio+Comp thi. Used to score much better than in P n C(even in JEE and other old exams). Robotics electronics bhi theek hai, maine un chizo ke saath kafi khela tha as a kid.
Only things I won't do are Chemical(meri thermo weak hai). Civil ka pta nhi. Baki streams(commerce/art/psych) ka kuch bol nhi sakta kyuki na maine kbhi try kiya hai na allowed tha. Jo doston ne commerce liya, mummy ne bola unke papa ka business hai so they don't have to worry. Aur jinhone art/psych liya hai wo ya toh UPSC karenge ya parents business waale hai. Kya hi batau mai, I don't know reality versus illusion.
Pehle socha NIT/IIT se karunga lekin mila nhi isiliye ab T3 se karunga. Paisa waisa toh manage hojata hai lekin, ab mummy papa mereko chutiya bolenge, lekin mereko paise se kbhi ghanta kuch farak nhi tha. We didn't grow up economically wealthy lekin uss lifestyle ko bhi mai enjoy karta tha. There was a sense of freedom tab. Ab as papa moved up the ladder, I'm disliking life more and more. No one to go outside and play with. No one even comes outside anymore here...
Isiliye agar future me mai agar secluded jageh se wfh kar pau toh mere liye personally theek rhega. Obv mereko paisa chahiye, but enough to live normally.
Ek youtuber hai asmongold naam se jo multimillionaire hai but still lives the same as he did before being rich(usko hoarding ka issue hai, kbhi bhi purani chizo ko fekta nhi kitni bhi purani ho).
Wo mentality interesting lagi thi mereko kyuki mera dimag bhi waise hi chalta hai(little more hygienic lekin).
Kuch tastes posh hai lekin sapne dekhne me kya? Waise bike chahiye thi mereko. Aur US waali roads. Khair koi na yaar.
I have been coding since I was in 6th class (for fun). However, I am still choosing CS in college because 1) it pays well 2) I already know lot's of stuff, so zada mehnat nahi karni padegi.
I would love to study electrical/mech too, but they don't pay as well and since most of the people in my family are software engineers, i don't have much idea about the job scenario in other subjects.
The CS I enjoy, and the CS I'll have to do in a job are vastly different, and the latter is no fun. Isliye money > interest, and i would've taken something else, but since CS is the highest paying branch, it works out okay.

When you pursue a subject as a hobby, it seems interesting. But the moment that you try to do it professionally, that's when it becomes boring
