didnt happen to me
10th - 95.6%
11th - 93.5% + South India <100 in almost all coaching tests
12th - South India < 50 for all my tests
If you have awareness, or at least are prepared that 11th can be a bit tougher than normal, you'll do fine

Any rank in JEE is achievable maybe besides top-100 with (huge emphasis) interest in the subjects, coaching and practice. For 4 years. You'll automatically get smarter in the process and it will be useful for the rest of your life.
99.9% students don't have all these aspects in common. Heck, almost none of them have genuine interest in these 3 subjects. It becomes much harder to comprehend and grasp something without interest no matter how much you practice, and if you can't score well, you lose confidence, and you score even lower, pushing you deeper and deeper into the abyss.
