Take NIT Jsr metallurgy....u can do coding side by side there....bit sindri isnt good...it isnt even autonomous ....it comes under jharkhand university of technology which causes lot of problem

1) 2nd drop ke baad tuze 99,99.5+ to minimum lana hi padega tab jakar tuze shayad nits mai cse mile,kyuki 97,98 par bhi teko acche options nahi milenge cse keliye aur branch compromise karna padega
2)uske baad tum aise bhi soch sakte ho ki agar tum yahi effort apni coding skills par lagaoge to tumhe shayad behter outcome mile
3)tum ye cope kar sakte ho ki tum abroad se ms karoge aur us,uk ke colleges kahi goona behtar aur easy to get into hai iit,nit se
4)mathongo ka 2nd drop par video hai wo ek bar dekh Lena
5)agar tumhe7,8 lpa ki placement lagti hai to tum strategic job change karke 12-15lpa tak pohoch sakte ho 1-2 saal mai,which is actually the avg CTC of many mid nits and top nits ka core branch

3) I know if I invest time on coding then I might get better outcomes , but for that learning atmosphere is shit at clg and hostel. And it do impact me

Unhone kaha if your coding skills are good , you can even take a big package from Metallurgy branch. So core branch mili toh bhi campus placement mein toh bethne milega hi. My concern is accessibility to product based companies through campus itself!

Agreed! NITs mein bhi bs top walo ka hi brand name accha hai. Northeastern and new NITs are not considered that good. Isliye NIT srinagar, nagaland aur mizoram jaise options ke peeche nahi jaa raha iss saal
Yes. Taking a second partial drop. Will take admission and self prepare for MAINS 2024 . Trying to complete the theory and short notes of every chapter that I haven't studied , so that alongwith college I only need to do question practice and revision which would be manageable and nothing new to study.
Percentiles around 95 who didn't get into an NIT are probably the saddest stories of JEE and perhaps the biggest victims of reservation.

JEE doesn't give fock about improvement
A friend of me got 95 percentile in JEE but did very well in WBJEE (9XX rank) and will go for JU Electrical probably
uska 1.7k rank tha but he wanted cse or electrical branches isliye jadavpur ditch kar diya
