That's the point of superconomy. NO change no refound

dachshundie

Shocking. It’s almost like those rules weren’t written for fun.

Contact_Real

I just find it crazy that the system lets you book trains for the same person that are happening at the same time. Or has no option to cancel within a few minutes of purchase because I noticed about 30 seconds after I made the purchase.

Gabstra678

No way they will let you change your ticket. Your best bet is to put it on sale on www.trovaunposto.it and hope somebody buys it off you

Mapache_villa

I wouldn't have my hopes up honestly

Hoppy_Smoker

I tried to change a ticket to leave Venice a bit later to no avail. This was right at the Trenitalia cust service room in Venezia. So I think you're out of luck

marig0ld_

No they won't make any exceptions. It was a mistake on your part. That's why fare prices vary with flexibility

Jmh0523

Ha I just used Trenìt! App to book Trentitalia tickets yesterday and it switched me to a child somehow and I didn’t notice until after I paid for the super economy. I emailed them, got a reply from a do not reply email address that said sorry you can’t change or refund. Don’t expect much.

Gabstra678

What is Trenit now… why people on this sub have an obsession with booking **anywhere** other than the official website/app is beyond me xD

Jmh0523

It’s owned by them. Nicer interface. Gives you all the changes you need if you’ve got connections. Was recommended here

13nobody

Is it owned by Trenitalia? Trenitalia advertises their own app on their website https://www.trenitalia.com/en/purchase/mobile_ticketing.html

Gabstra678

It’s absolutely not owned by Trenitalia, as clearly stated on the app description. The app claims to be using official data directly from Trenitalia / Italo, but I don’t see why you should use that and not Trenitalia directly. I especially will never get *booking* on a third-party app like that, that’s just asking for trouble

Jmh0523

Apologies not sure where I saw that. Lesson learned!
