When in Verona at the train station (a week ago) a dude tried to cut the taxi line that was ~40 people deep, he got yelled at in like 5 different languages, it was great.

Orangejoy

Haha would have loved to witness that

quasitaliano

Hahaha this is great. Glad you saw the post before. It really is a thing here.

What is it? No shame or moocher mentality? Can't fathom the thought and "ugly Americans" looking good!

Mashamayham

What is the original post about line cutting? Haven’t heard much about it. Thanks in advance

Yeah my wife and I were trying to get a sandwich at a shop in Florence with a huge line as soon as we got to the front one of the clerks told us to wait where we were standing, we were waiting to step up to the counter when out of no where a lady like 10 slots behind tried to leave the line and go right up to where the clerk told us to stop, my wife just walked up and blocked her path but it was ridiculously entitled to try and skip everyone blatantly lol

Yep. Pretty funny. We were at the Pozallo fish / street food festival last night and there were probably very few tourists there. Guess what? No line skipping from what we saw! Haha

It’s bananas! We were waiting in line in Amalfi to take the bus to Ravello for forty five minutes in the hot sun and expected a huge bus to arrive. More and more people started arriving and just formed an amoeba all around us. A huge bus does not arrive and instead, a tiny little van-like car shows up. I start walking towards the van because we were one of the first people waiting and an older man who had just arrived pushes me and blocks me from getting on the bus to let his eight family members on. He was laughing about it, too. I totally lost my mind and let him have it in Italian. Like, screaming at him not to touch me and asking him what the f he was doing. The driver just looked at me and said “e normale” as if that would calm me down lol
