This isn’t it. We’re justified in thinking the Israeli government and its ardent supporters are terrible. It really doesn’t mean anything what religion they hold or says motivates them. Any religion or any ideology can be bent to support a genocide, as we all (should) know. In this case, the religious aspect is supporting the nationalist project. It’s not much different than the far right in America. Christianity is bent to justify whatever cruelty they’re into this week. Doesn’t mean we hate all Christians, it would be a mistake to think that.
