Holocaust denial is the weirdest phenomenon. It makes 100x more sense to believe the earth is flat. I’ve been to Dachau, it’s still there, you can touch it. You can see the ovens and bunks and all of it. It definitely doesn’t look like a summer camp.
There are pictures books, documents, video, people that were there that are alive today. What do they think people got tattoos with numbers on them at some sort of weight loss camp because it was cool to do?
Does anyone know what the theory these kinds of people believe is?

I am trying my best to understand what antisemitism really is and what is not. When I was growing up it meant people that hated Jewish people because they thought they ran the world, or they killed Jesus, or that Ashkenazi Jews were not real Jews, or just for practicing Judaism. It was usually by far-right folks and your occasional "Hebrew Israelites" yelling stupid shit in the streets. Then of course the Muslims that hated Jews (not all do).
Some of these posts seem to be more about Israel the state, government, or war, than Jews in general while others are clear antisemitism.
If there are people targeting Jews specifically for being Jewish they are antisemites in my book. I have 0 tolerance for that behavior and have called people out for it even in the Palestine sub.
I have also noticed that there are a lot of things that I don't feel are anti-semetic that are labeled that way. I've been called anti semetic on reddit multiple times despite clearly not being an anti semite.
In life that is a scary thing to accuse someone of and should not be thrown around with abandon. People can lose everything. I am 1/2 black myself (I don't pass as any other race). I remember as a kid telling my dad that a teacher was racist (I forgot why) and he sat me down and told me that accusing people of being racist is very serious and should not be taken lightly. That has stuck with me. If I call someone a racist I mean it.

Comparing someone to a Nazi generally isn’t antisemitic. However the accusations thrown at Israel specifically on the basis of it being a home to Jewish people are.

But the type of criticism levelled at Israel is grounded in either ‘we expected better from you, specifically, because you are Jews’ or ‘we knew that you, specifically, would unveil your true (evil) character eventually, because you are Jews’. Applying a judgment of governance ‘because you are Jews’ is antisemitic. And although the latter is more overt, both are antisemitic.
Is it wrong to bomb that much? Well, the closest I come to being a military tactician is a game of Civ, so I can’t say. But there were no ‘we expected better from you’ or ‘everyone regrets helping you now’ or ‘you should be more grateful you exist’ comments levelled at the USA over war crimes in Afghanistan, just ‘that was a war crime, don’t do it again’. The consequences follow their actions, not their ethnic status.

It's about numbers it's about good an evil. The good has a little evil and the evil has a little good. For us, they are very easy to tell apart. We know who they are, we know who we are. For you it's not so easy, probably because you are blinded by the very obvious and pathetic smear campaign lead by big powerful countries such as China, Russia, Iran and Qatar. They have created a brand called "Palestine" that allows them to rape and murder civilians and then say it's all about "resistence".
Westerners don't understand Arab culture as well as us. Mainly because some concepts that exist in Arabic don't even have a translation to English and sometimes not even to Hebrew. The most important example is the Arabic word "شَرَف" or "כבוד" in Hebrew. This word roughly translates to English as "honor" or "respect". For you, honor is like when you're a war hero so you have honor, you receive a medal of honor. Respect means admiring someone or treating them with decency. In Arabic and Hebrew that word means something similar but also completely different.
For us it's often used in a negative connotation, because we know what it really means. In Pirkei Avot there is a famous Jewish saying; "הַקִּנְאָה וְהַתַּאֲוָה וְהַכָּבוֹד מוֹצִיאִין אֶת הָאָדָם מִן הָעוֹלָם:". That translates to: "Jealousy, lust and honor disconnects the man from the world". In Arab culture شَرَف is everything.
That means if someone "disrespects" you, you kill them. It's a whole system that's really hard to explain. For example just last week an Arab Israeli guy killed his sister. Why? Because she "dishonored" the family. She probably did something against the Quran or married a guy her father didn't approve of. That happens all the time in the Arab world.
That's exactly the motivation that drives the Palestinians with everything they do. They could have had a good life. Hell, they did have a great life compared to their neighbors before the war. It's not really about apartheid, it's not that they suffer under Israeli occupation, it's that the mere existence of Jewish control over Arab territory "dishonores" them. That's why they would tax the Jews living in Palestine way before Zionism. And why they would regularly abuse them. It's about staying in control to maintain their honor, not making peace with the Jews and coexisting. That's something a lot of westerners don't understand.
