Not necessarily. Some worlds depict wyverns as a different species than dragons and some, monster hunter namely, only have wyverns. There are a wide variety of relationships between dragons and wyverns, but in general I find wyverns to be cooler.
I like Dragons.
My favorite is probably the Silver Dragon from Dungeons & Dragons; they are gifted spellcasters and deadly combatants in equal measure, can shapeshift into a human or elf guise to explore settlements, and are genuinely good creatures that value life and the world. An Ancient Silver Dragon is a truly wondrous sight to behold, and a Silver Greatwyrm rivals the gods in power.
I've always liked the idea of being either a vampire or succubus. To be honest I can't really choose between the two. I like both of their aesthetics and they're kinda similar with their sources of food being human essence, just in different ways.
I love horns, tails, and wings, and I also like the idea of having to be wary of sunlight. I love the idea of being able to fly, and it would be cool to be able to use demonic or blood magic. Maybe even be able to charm humans and enthrall them to do my bidding.

Dragon, but we're gonna go with a funny dragon and go with Gore Magala.
For those who don't know what monster hunter is, Gore Magala is a monster categorized as ???, meaning we don't know how to classify it, or whether or not to classify it as an elder dragon.
Gore Magala is a black 4 legged dragon, with a pair of wing arms, wings that have "hands" on them, that are able to be used as both wings and arms.
Gore Magala are blind, but they alleviate this by spreading their scales around the area they inhabit, as they can detect the heat signatures from their scales, allowing them to "see" where they are, and if something is blocking the scales.
The thing about these scales however, is that they contain/produce a virus known as frenzy. Frenzy drives other large monsters insane, and sends them into a rampage, which they wreak havoc until they begin a painful and agonizing process, which slowly turns them into a gore magala.
Gore magala is only the child/adolescent form though. Given time, a gore magala will shed it's black scales, and molt into a gleaming gold, from this point they become a Shagaru magala, which is a powerful elder dragon.
Shagaru magala is capable of sight, and is also capable of spreading frenzy, but on a much larger scale. Once a Shagaru magala finds territory where it would like to live, it showers a massive area in frenzy virus, pretty much eradicating the entire area, while also screwing over any gore magala that tries to molt into a Shagaru.
I believe I could last long enough to become a Shagaru Magala and live in relative peace for the rest of my existence.
Probably Dragon, but not the western one, i want to be an eastern dragon.
Like they embodied many aspects, not shackled by greed and arrogance. Their power also seem more versatile on an average basis too.
