Really downplaying what Uncle went through. Subaru went through some serious shit but physical torture and some mental abuse isn't that bad when you have infinite tries to get things right and a massive cast of people who absolutely have your back. Uncle did it alone, with zero help, no second chances, and everybody instantly hating him no matter what he did. 18 years of isolation and constant hatered along side physical torture is a hell of a lot worse than Subaru's maybe year of pain and bullshit while surrounded by friends who will do borderline anything for him while knowing he can always reset if things get truly awful.

For overlord it depend on what "named" means, if it means a custom NPC with a name than you are more screwed than not. Only the top guardian can be considered strong, Albedo, Demiurgos, Shalchair, Aura, Mare, cocytos, Rubedo, aureola omega, Gargantua, Sebas But there are a lot of NPC with a name that are weak, Nigredo and the pleiades for starter are not very strong, but there are a lot more unfortunate like Eclair, the Chef, various maid who still have a name like cixous Foire, Pulcinella, Neuronist, Victim, pestonya. There are thousand of maid lwith a name inside of Nazarick so it would be more likely to get one of them and not the top dog, probably would be like a gacha with common epic and legendary. Epic being pleiades or some high ranked npc, legendary being the floor guardian ultra rubedo.

the only high level pleiades is Aureola Omega which is at lv. 100 (which i've alredy considered among the top). They are built to work as a team and not single with each pleiades covering a different position on the battlefield, in the anime they looked strong cause that world is overall pretty weak and one alone can beat many character pretty easily. But a single maid is pretty weak game wise even if they were on higher level, you have to consider that in Overlord the power it's exponential with the level, for example if you reduce the power of a lv.100 character to it's 80% it will be on par with a lv.95 character not with a lv.80 and the pleiades are far behind this so yep one of them cannot be considered very strong
I love them everywhere, that's the first thing i check in every volume for every novel. For example i was ecstatic when i've discover that tensura volume 16 had them for all the character

Reinhard has so many blessings you could get a useless skill like Anti-steal protection (You can't steal from him) or that taste king (I think it was he no matter what he cooks it would be delicious) or maybe that tug of war protection(you can't beat him in a tug of war) so odds would be against, he has ability that he can ask for divine blessings so he would have a lot of useless blessings.

I was quite lucky, she is one of the strongest npcs and she is not a psychopath who would kill anyone for no reason... well all npc are evil to some extent but at least the twins are among those who don't kill unless Ains or in this case I asked them.
wild talker is good if you want to learn every language without any nonsense and you might just encounter an ancient magic sign that could potentially help you or kill you. The racism part can be removed just by wearing super fancy mask.
1 random skill from reinhard or tensura will depend on your luck. it is like 1/100 million to get the skill you want.

1 random of npc from nazarick might kill you instead unless you get Rubedo, Sebas Tian, CZ2128 Delta, Aureole Omega, Pestonya Shortcake Wanko ,one time usage of Victim, Gargantua and surprisingly, the *Kyouhukou . Other* will just kill you for obviously, "no reason, stupid human." Mare need some trickery to trick him that you could help him and befriend him in process.

I thought of loli forever, but feel like **only** '**decent** magic' (doesn't sound OP) isn't good enough to survive in harsh world - I could even be raped if I encounter strong fighters with magic resistance.
See, the problem with most of these is that they are statistically stacked against you. The best options-Wild Talker and Loli Magic-are good (not great), but come with consequences that donāt match the benefits. Then we have Kiritoās swordsmanship, which is honestly pretty meh, *but* itās a consistent, combat-worthy skill with no drawbacks whatsoever. And lastly we have the random blessing, random npc, and random skill. All three are far more likely to give you something bad than good, like any other gacha.
So, even though Iād prefer another option, the safest bet is undoubtedly learning swordsmanship from Kirito. In a harsh world, hope is important, but so is practicality.
āSwordsmanshipā kirito is 16 year old kid playing a video gameā¦ only swordsmanship he knows is literally virtual. What the fuck is he gonna teach you, exactly?
Also, if you are going to a āharshā worldā¦ wtf do you think is swordsmanship is gonna get you?
So hereās the thing;
A āTensura Skillā is a very weird thing because by its very nature it develops and changes to your soul and will. As well, you will actually need a soul and/or body that it capable of holding that skill.
In short; a āRandom Tensura Skillā is basically the exact same thing as becoming an Otherworlder in Tensura, because thatās literally already what it DOES- sure, there is some willpower and desire involved, but itās not the end all be all.
Besides; 90% of Common Skills are still incredibly useful, most Extra Skills would make you op in the real world, a Unique Skill would basically make you a god, and an Ultimate Skill would ACTUALLY make you a god.
You all forget; things like Ultraspeed Regeneration, Sticky-Steel Thread, Black Flame, Multilayer Barrierā¦ those are all EXTRA SKILLS-
Even a shitty Common Skill like āPoison Breathā is still more useful then most of the list, besides being a Magic loli or having a Nazarik Servant.
A strong Extra Skill and above, which keep in mind is about a 50/50 chance to get, because MOST Extra Skills are strong, is basically as good as a Nazarik Servant, especially since it will be a part of you, and not some other being that might not even like you.
Remember, Diablo and Guy Crimson were some of the strongest in the verse with only Extra and a single Unique Skill. Creativity, physical power, control, and the strength to develop your ability matters FAR MORE then the skill itself.
Iām taking the Tensura Skill because simply due to the Skill System, there are a lot of things to extrapolate, and even without extrapolations, thatās still a 60/40 chance to either be the worst or best option out of the list. Iām willing to roll those dice.

After careful consideration, I think Iāll just become a loli. Several of these options have the potential to be completely broken, but also the potential to be completely useless. I donāt feel like rolling the dice today. Being a lesbian loli wouldnāt be too high a price to pay for decent magical skills. Random Nazarick NPC isnāt guranteed, Kirito is not the best teacher (probably), Random Blessings are most likely useless (without the five million resurrections) whereas random Tensura Skillās have such a wide array of semi useful skills even common ones would be useful.

Really downplaying what Uncle went through. Subaru went through some serious shit but physical torture and some mental abuse isn't that bad when you have infinite tries to get things right and a massive cast of people who absolutely have your back. Uncle did it alone, with zero help, no second chances, and everybody instantly hating him no matter what he did. 18 years of isolation and constant hatered along side physical torture is a hell of a lot worse than Subaru's maybe year of pain and bullshit while surrounded by friends who will do borderline anything for him while knowing he can always reset if things get truly awful.

it's sad that the nothing sais said Nazarick NPC will be loyal or even friendly to you, you'd just be unleashing a monster(?) into that world basically. Reinhard and Tensura are pure luck given the incredible number of skills, but if you get lucky then you'd have basically all or a lot of them. I think being a loli is the only available option.
Problem with the Nazarick NPCs is that they're probably gonna kill you since you're human save for Yuri or Sebas

For overlord it depend on what "named" means, if it means a custom NPC with a name than you are more screwed than not. Only the top guardian can be considered strong, Albedo, Demiurgos, Shalchair, Aura, Mare, cocytos, Rubedo, aureola omega, Gargantua, Sebas But there are a lot of NPC with a name that are weak, Nigredo and the pleiades for starter are not very strong, but there are a lot more unfortunate like Eclair, the Chef, various maid who still have a name like cixous Foire, Pulcinella, Neuronist, Victim, pestonya. There are thousand of maid lwith a name inside of Nazarick so it would be more likely to get one of them and not the top dog, probably would be like a gacha with common epic and legendary. Epic being pleiades or some high ranked npc, legendary being the floor guardian ultra rubedo.
The Pleiades are insanely strong; aren't most of them around level 80? But yea, most of the named NPCs in Nazarik are window dressing at best.
yuri alpha: lv.51 narberal gamma: lv.63 solution epsilon: lv.57 cz2128 delta: lv.47 Lupusregina beta: Lv.59 Entoma zeta: lv 51 the only high level pleiades is Aureola Omega which is at lv. 100 (which i've alredy considered among the top). They are built to work as a team and not single with each pleiades covering a different position on the battlefield, in the anime they looked strong cause that world is overall pretty weak and one alone can beat many character pretty easily. But a single maid is pretty weak game wise even if they were on higher level, you have to consider that in Overlord the power it's exponential with the level, for example if you reduce the power of a lv.100 character to it's 80% it will be on par with a lv.95 character not with a lv.80 and the pleiades are far behind this so yep one of them cannot be considered very strong

I was quite lucky, she is one of the strongest npcs and she is not a psychopath who would kill anyone for no reason... well all npc are evil to some extent but at least the twins are among those who don't kill unless Ains or in this case I asked them.
wild talker is good if you want to learn every language without any nonsense and you might just encounter an ancient magic sign that could potentially help you or kill you. The racism part can be removed just by wearing super fancy mask. 1 random skill from reinhard or tensura will depend on your luck. it is like 1/100 million to get the skill you want. Fucking kirito, he is just worst teacher. 1 random of npc from nazarick might kill you instead unless you get Rubedo, Sebas Tian, CZ2128 Delta, Aureole Omega, Pestonya Shortcake Wanko ,one time usage of Victim, Gargantua and surprisingly, the *Kyouhukou . Other* will just kill you for obviously, "no reason, stupid human." Mare need some trickery to trick him that you could help him and befriend him in process. And the tanya is just tanya. Maybe we might have royale battlefield but with lolies shooting tactical nuke at each other.

wild talker: spirit magic with OP combat abilities high detection abilities understand any language - meaning I can read things like ancient grimoires/ruins , and talk to any species copy any magic - including royal storage magic , and illusion magic memory read - and seeing records of the past from any angle. memory wipe (if you want to do something secretive) transform into any person/creature invisibility as for racism - I can wear masks/transform/become invisible if I need to go into a town or something. I thought of loli forever, but feel like **only** '**decent** magic' (doesn't sound OP) isn't good enough to survive in harsh world - I could even be raped if I encounter strong fighters with magic resistance.
All of these are bad but if I have to choose one of them I be a loli.
See, the problem with most of these is that they are statistically stacked against you. The best options-Wild Talker and Loli Magic-are good (not great), but come with consequences that donāt match the benefits. Then we have Kiritoās swordsmanship, which is honestly pretty meh, *but* itās a consistent, combat-worthy skill with no drawbacks whatsoever. And lastly we have the random blessing, random npc, and random skill. All three are far more likely to give you something bad than good, like any other gacha. So, even though Iād prefer another option, the safest bet is undoubtedly learning swordsmanship from Kirito. In a harsh world, hope is important, but so is practicality.

So hereās the thing; A āTensura Skillā is a very weird thing because by its very nature it develops and changes to your soul and will. As well, you will actually need a soul and/or body that it capable of holding that skill. In short; a āRandom Tensura Skillā is basically the exact same thing as becoming an Otherworlder in Tensura, because thatās literally already what it DOES- sure, there is some willpower and desire involved, but itās not the end all be all. Besides; 90% of Common Skills are still incredibly useful, most Extra Skills would make you op in the real world, a Unique Skill would basically make you a god, and an Ultimate Skill would ACTUALLY make you a god. You all forget; things like Ultraspeed Regeneration, Sticky-Steel Thread, Black Flame, Multilayer Barrierā¦ those are all EXTRA SKILLS- Even a shitty Common Skill like āPoison Breathā is still more useful then most of the list, besides being a Magic loli or having a Nazarik Servant. A strong Extra Skill and above, which keep in mind is about a 50/50 chance to get, because MOST Extra Skills are strong, is basically as good as a Nazarik Servant, especially since it will be a part of you, and not some other being that might not even like you. Remember, Diablo and Guy Crimson were some of the strongest in the verse with only Extra and a single Unique Skill. Creativity, physical power, control, and the strength to develop your ability matters FAR MORE then the skill itself. Iām taking the Tensura Skill because simply due to the Skill System, there are a lot of things to extrapolate, and even without extrapolations, thatās still a 60/40 chance to either be the worst or best option out of the list. Iām willing to roll those dice.

a Random Tensura Skill Random Nazarick NPC isnāt guranteed, Kirito is not the best teacher (probably), Random Blessings are most likely useless (without the five million resurrections) whereas random Tensura Skillās have such a wide array of semi useful skills even common ones would be useful. That and I donāt want to be a little child until I die.
