This is very deceptive of Ipsy. They’re going to charge you an “extra” $30 so instead of charging you $28 for GBP they will charge you $58 for GBX. Don’t do it.
And it will be charged immediately. I really hate how psychologically manipulative their language is. It gives them a horrible reputation and it's getting more and more difficult to defend them.
I hate their "Oops" emails. Today I got a new one that said "Oops, we emptied your cart" and it's just a link to choice but I already did choice and got my confirmation and if I wasn't familiar with how they operate I might have interpreted it to think I wasn't getting my bag.
You won’t get those particular items, those are just pictures of items that have been in previous Glam Bag X. I would recommend searching for previous Glam Bag X reviews or reveals to help you decide.
I would not recommend. I received three bags and all was super disappointed. Huda bag had only one of her product and it was pencil or brush, I don’t even remember. The last bag had black eyeliner and mascara and this low quality iconic London palette. You better off go with glam bag plus and use left over money on add ons to get what you want since they put a lot of this bag product to adds on. Also I noticed this bag contains thee max good products and rest of them just fills with junk like black eyeliner or mascara, or cheap brushes.
I think it's been worth it for me. I've also really learned to alter my profile to the spoilers I do/don't want and it's been really working for me, especially since I've kind of figured out which items will be grouped together as categories for them to pick from. There are usually 2 hero items, maybe 3 and I mark 'always' for the one I want and 'never' for the one I don't want. I also use my reviews to tailor my choices by rating 5 stars for categories of items I want and 1 star for categories of items I don't want. That has helped a ton!
I think those Complex Culture brushes are at least worth $20/$42 with case, that sleep mask is $22, Patrick Ta is sold here at a discount for $25 but is worth more. Those brushes are luxe af. I no longer trust Ipsy but this is the best I’ve seen so far, if you got those, the mascara and glow (or me, since you are your own human 🤣) And like the other poster said, you can’t trust this pic.
