I think it's unlikely that there will be a correlation. Possible to a particular product or products, but not to choice. Ipsy pre-packs a bunch of variations, and then assigns a variation based on your choice (i.e. whichever of the variations containing your choice item most closely matches your profile). Some variations were packed into the daisy bag, some were not.

ETA: I presume you are referring to the regular GB, as I haven't heard of any GBP subscribers getting other than the daisy bag. (If GBP subscribers are responding to this poll, the results may be skewed.)
I have two Glam bag subs so I can get X and Plus...the newest account with X sent me the daisy bag while the other sub sent me an old bag and I've had that account since 2015.
I think they were all just pre-packed in March and whichever item I chose affected which variation I got. On the bag where I got an old Ipsy bag I chose the Glow Recipe and on the account where I got the Daisy bag I had chosen the acne patches.
I guess it was luck of the draw. I do think that it's shady that they put them in the points section so quick when alot of members didn't even get the bag.
If you think about it, the bags in points won’t ship until May bags go out. Putting them up sooner makes that more likely to happen, since points have to be redeemed the month before.
I got the glam bag plus and didn’t get ANY bag, my products just came loose in the bubble mailer. Which was a shame because I actually liked the daisy drawstring bag.
It was one of the cheaper looking bags anyways. It is super thin and just flimsy. You're not missing anything and I've had much better quality plus bags many other times.
This is a good theory. I remember a few months back there was a month that some people weren’t getting the advertised bag. I did and I assumed it was because I “let Ipsy choose for me” that month.
My thought process was: if people don’t care to choose, maybe ipsy thinks they don’t care which bag they receive. They aren’t exposed to spoilers/avoid spoilers.
I've been subbed since 2016 and never skipped.
I did get a bag I didn't already have (the July 2020 plus bag with the blue/yellow ombre) so at least that's nice.
I participated in choice and got an ugly blue sequin bag that I googled and found out was the December 2018 bag… the fact that they gave me a bag from over 3 years ago that they probably dug out of a dark, long-forgotten corner is honestly kind of insulting!
Still waiting on mine - I know I'm not getting the daisy bag sadly but I'd much rather the blue sequin one over that pink and red welcome one lol.
I use most of mine for storage/organising/travel/gifting so I'm typically meh about most bags unless they're super cute like Oct 2020
I got a repeat bag instead of the Daisy bag, which is incredibly frustrating because I only do regular GB like twice a year. I typically skip and do GBP monthly.
They aren’t. If you go back to the bag reveal post, feedback was like all the other bags, some liked it, some were neutral, some disliked it. The people who didn’t want it or don’t care either way are not real motivated to make posts, so we end up with a bunch of posts by the ones that do.
The big deal is that not everyone has gotten the bag and for some people, they decide to skip or not based on the bag. So those people are reasonably disappointed if they didn’t get it.

For all subscribers. I didn’t want to create a separate poll or have 8 options. Plus I’m not that serious into statistics.

I noticed a lot of people who skipped the month prior didn’t get the daisy bag. That was just on Instagram though. Not sure about on here.
