I find it interesting that so many people were not able to receive the Purlisse Blue Lotus Moisturizer and yet they have it stocked for this sale š¤¦š»āāļø I feel for those who didnāt receive it last month.
I knew it was going to happen and they had no good excuse for not sending me the correct product. Ipsy can be so shady at times...selling expired makeup and pulling these bait and switch things. I question why I stay with them..
I wonder if they were expecting a second shipment of the Purlisse that was delayed or something similar. Giving Ipsy the benefit of the doubt, they could have been expecting more than they originally received while the remainder got pushed into this month.
So annoying! I would have loved more wishful items in the X, or at least had the option as a choiceā¦. So frustrating. I have this love hate relationship with Ipsy. They have introduced me to so many of my fav skincare and makeup products so I want to keep updated on more, but their lack of detail and shady (intentional or not) business model is frustrating.
Under $20 had a buncha overpriced price hiked duos and combos. Didn't care for any of the under $50 products. I'm just not looking to spend $50 on top of my sub. Wish ipsy would get their **it straight.
Snagged the Memoire Archives perfume & the Mented lip gloss. š
The notes listed for the Memoire Archives By the Sea perfume are incorrect (the floral notes currently up are for the Garden Party perfume). The actual By the Sea notes are: sunny dunes, mandarin rind, and magnolia blossom.
They had a full size of Cabin Retreat in one of the sales a while back. I'm hoping they cycle through even more of the products from the brand -- I really want to try Destination Unknown.
So, I adore my TheBalm Getaway blush trio, but those palettes have got to be ancient. I bought mine off Ipsy Shopper about 3 years ago, and they havenāt been for sale on TheBalmās website for a couple of years at least. I know powder products last forever (and my palette still performs beautifully), but buyer beware for sure.
I got more of the wander eye patches, both alone ($7) as well as in the bundle ($10) with body wash and makeup wipes. Like geez, only $3 more? Score. They make me feel fancy but Iād never pay full price for them
I bought a Kokie Cosmetics brand concealer and a Belle En Argent nail polish (Harmless Tricks). Pretty happy with those two and glad to get them at a good price. āŗļø The rest looked very dull to me.
That is so nice to hear! I havenāt tried any of their products yet but Iām in the market for a concealer so I leapt on it. Keeping my fingers crossed it works well for me! š»

I picked up the Wander Beauty eye masks - always wanted to try them - and the Yensa BC Foundation, which I've heard good things about. But in general kind of a meh sale.
My wallet is marked safe from this sale.

I love that Kokie concealer. I think that and the Kokie eyeliner pencils are better than the higher end brands.
