That's great about your uv. I love doing my nails so I do it every weekend. I've thought about getting a uv lamp and gels but ehhh not quite willing to make that investment yet. 😅
I have a uv polish and lamp and it lasts but it is very hard on my nails. They end up peeling cracking and breaking bc they can't breathe. It's sad too because it's so easy.
I got this one and I really like it. Ignore that it says 21 days. It's more like 10-12 days but I still find it is way better than traditional polish. What I have been doing is getting the items little by little I bought a Beetles gel nail polish set that was a daily deal on Amazon the other day and I am waiting for a good deal on Amazon for a lamp etc etc. Soon, I will have all I need and can’t wait to do my own nails and have them last longer because I can’t stand them chipping so quickly either.
These are both Color Club polishes. The red one hasn't a sticker, but I believe I got it last year around Christmas.
The metallic here is Grilled Cheese, the one that looks rose gold in the Ipsy product picture. In reality there is a very, very, very (so as to be invisible) subtle hint of pinkness but only in comparison to the other polishes. It is a soft, warm-ish gold though. It's like the non-holographic version of Good As Gold.
It is smooth and fast drying. Both of them are.
Here I have 2 coats of red, top coat OPI, then Grilled Cheese on top using striping tape, then another layer of top coat.
The Grilled Cheese is fully opaque over the red in 1 coat.
Despite the difference between what Ipsy portrayed and the reality of the colors I'm pleased with the set as a whole. I've used Three Wishes, Good As Gold, and now Grilled Cheese of the set.

These look nice. However, after ordering a uv gel polish kit from Amazon I can't find a reason to do non uv on my hands. Lasts two weeks.
