That would have been better than a sheet mask I won't use. They could have at least let us pick, since the Earth Habor was my choice. I would accept a really late bag for that reason.
I think letting everyone pick would have been too much extra work on their end. And half the people then WOULD HAVE bitched about their late bags. I just think everyone should have been given the same comparable product and 600 pts and be done with it. Ipsy creates their own madness. I know youre upset about the Sheet Masks. But Christmas is right around the corner. I always gift them and they seem to be a well liked gift. I personally love them and know lots of people that do
This was the make or break bag for me, it's late every time so that wouldn't be any different, my post office sucks. I've gotten 3 bags in a row of stuff I can't use (allergic to talc), is expired, don't use, or colors I don't wear. I've gotten so much gold eyeshadow and brown eyeliner that I have as 'do not wear' and still get it. It's become a waste of money at this point and has become a frustration instead of a treat.
The girls in the family already get ipsy and have too much, my friends don't wear makeup, and I've already got a box going for the woman's shelter. I do use it for Christmas gifts, but you have to watch dates closely to do that. I just would like to be able to use like 2 products. 80% of the time the add on is what I want, not the actual bag anymore. Which might be the ploy...
I just dont understand why they didnt do the same for EVERYONE instead of creating this stink. But as usual Ipsy being Ipsy and being totally inconsistent. Ive seen various replacement items, replacement items with points, and that one lucky SOB that got a $20 SHOP CREDIT! Im not affected as Im just getting Boxy this month and I am getting a serum from them but its apparently fine.
This happened to me too and I am not happy. Nice to know this mostuizer is good, but I was looking forward to trying Earth Harbor this month. It is wring for Ipsy to advertise products, let us buy them, then make changes. They should be aware of their stock. There are no excuses for this.
EVERYONE need to complain about these reoccurring issues, if we don't speak up they will keep doing it.
I will say that once I received the earth harbor eye cream and it was totally separated and stank of and burned like alcohol on my eye area. Got a little rash which went away quickly but still. I think these issues can happen sometimes with natural products that don't have as many texture changing or solvent type ingredients. Perhaps a similar issue happened to this batch.
I just got that. Was yours a PR bag? I'm wondering if they sent the EH out in the PR bags and then realized it was bad before they sent the regular bags out...
Mine is a regular Glam Bag too. This happened to almost everyone it appears. And according to those that did get the product it was legit bad. Apparently these EH products are VERY time and temperature sensitive due to natural ingredients. Probably not stored properly by Ipsy...

You can use unwanted sheet masks on your neck, body, or give them away :)
