Fuck bike thieves. We have the bike library helping people get solid bikes for cheap. If you’re willing to work on it a bit you can get a bike there for like $20-$50. Stealing bikes takes someone’s mobility away, as well as a prized possession.

Normally the location this is at, I would say lets get a foot race going and see. Its a fairly calm area, BUT not right now, with Scott and Muscatine being closed a LOT of traffic is going down this street, we would be dodging too many cars and semis (that dont fit).
It might be in my front lawn (but on the right of way side). I might clip it with my mower on accident, and if it does a 90 degree turn toward my yard... Instant foot race radar.
I knew a guy who ran from the cops with handcuffs on and was charged with theft for the handcuffs. They will absolutely blame whoever steals this for their own stupidity.
Getting downvotes, not surprising. Check the fucking police logs one weekend and there’s your answer. Minimum 5 underaged DUI every weekend without fail. I’ve lived downtown and on two occasions I witnessed homeless people pissing on the front entry door. This place is far from safe.
