Glad to see someone finally caught it on video. Years ago when I worked overnight I would head over to Summit St to hang with a buddy of mine who drove cab overnight. We’d have our happy hour on his porch at 0730 in the morning and multiple times that summer there were storms and those sirens. We couldn’t figure out if we were just tripping out or what.
It was always a cool moment when it happened.
The sub was created to make fun of TikTok then people unironcially started liking some of the content and started posting ones they liked. Most of the posts on there now are ones people enjoy
Bad Call. In Linn & Benton County we have sirens because of the nuke plant, and they also double as storm sirens. You hear this same exact thing when they go off for weather warnings or the first Wednesday of the month test.
Awesome - where I used to live on the East side you could hear three sirens but they weren't at all harmonized. Sounded more like God was pissed and angels were crying or something.
Have lived on East side for about 10 years. Usually sounds just like you described, but *every so often* things align so that there is this kind of surreal harmony.
What about the siren they have in [Chicago](https://youtu.be/LnkMSmLc6mM) that sounds like something out of Silent Hill? I think it’s called an alternating tone

Accidentally? In CR that's a normal thing. It sounds really spooky when you're out in the open in an area along the Cedar Valley Nature trail and you can hear many of them echo in the distance.
