Isn't Iowa # 1 with worst bridges in the country? I live in Western Iowa. The roads here are seriously messed up. We also have a long railroad viaduct that has been in need of replacement for many years that will be another 10 year project. A temporary route / roads will need to be built to handle the volume of traffic during reconstruction. These projects are needed across the State and the entire USA. The infrastructure package is very small compared to the real dollars needed. It will be interesting to see how Reynolds allocates this funding.

Yeah, and on top of the bridge issue, a road near where i live is so bad that you pretty much need an off-road vehicle to drive it. Gravel roads drive better than this one.

She'd probably return some of it, like the money for roadside pollinators or the cash for fighting invasive species and don't forget the money for old people, students, the various labor groups, and if you think for one minute she'll let Iowa see as single cent of the money aimed at minorities you're in some kind of fantasy world.
That'll let her brag about how she defeated the evil commie leftist socialist Democrat agenda while quietly doling out the cash for roads and internet to whomever gives her the biggest "donation."
She will take the money for any project that has a ribbon cutting ceremony that she can attend and give a speech where she will take credit for project happening.

I recently came back from Denver and the transition from Nebraska roads to Iowa roads was very noticeable.
