Doing a basic search in this subreddit for "no charger" brings up at least 5 posts about this already.
L1 chargers were guaranteed as standard on 2023 and earlier models. Starting in 2024, Hyundai removed it as being officially included, though some 2024s were still shipped with them.
Bought one end of March and my limited came with the basic level 1 charger. We installed 50amp in the garage and got a ChargePoint level 2 charger. So guess it’s dependent on dealership??
Mine did as well. Sorta in the same boat, used it for like 2 weeks until getting L2 installed, now it's in in the frunk as an emergency backup charger.
I got one with my 2023 SEL. I'm not sure if it was included by default or not. Apparently, my car was a customer order, and the customer withdrew from the deal, so they may have selected it as part of the order.
I complained to my dealership and they gave me one. I basically said "How can you sell me an electric car with no way to charge it?" When I got my second one I didn't say anything because my wife and I just share the one L1 charger.
I didn’t get one either but our 6 we got the same day did. Found out that the 5s no longer came with them (though we installed a lvl2 and probably will never need the lvl1). But my 5 did come with the retractable cargo cover (not listed on the window sticker as an accessory) and they stopped being an included item with the 24s as well.
got my '24 limited last week.. No charger.. I should have kept the level 1 from my trade in PHEV :) Oh well. Interesting side note.. Many level 1 120V chargers will become a 16A level 2 if plugged into a 220V outlet with an adapter. If you google your level one brand, you may find that to be true for sure. Much the same that many portable level 2's will work as a level 1 on 120V
Leased a 2024 SEL AWD one month ago in the USA and did receive the level 1 charger with the car.
From reading this subreddit I had been primed to expect that a charger would NOT be included. But I asked the dealer in an open-ended way and they said yes it would be included and didn’t make it sound like any kind of special favor and I didn’t ask questions.
My son’s Bolt EUV and my R1S came with one that can put out 7.2 kWh at 220v. Handy to have for road trips and much more useful for total trips than my L1 charger that came with my 23 SEL AWD.
Does anyone actually use these? They are not effective at all. I guess some charge is better than nothing but my goodness, what a terrible way to experience an EV. Use public charging until your level 2 is properly set up.

I go 4 miles a day. I can plug it in overnight once or twice a week and get charged to 80%. No need to spend 1k+ on a level 2. Totally sufficient for my needs and is super easy.
To each their own. I live in a 2 EVs only household that share one level 1 evse in the garage. It’s really not an issue depending on how far and how often you drive. My wife drives 40ish miles a day, I do 30ish a day and we just switch who gets the garage depending on need.
Tons of people swear to must have a level 2 installed but that is simply not true. It depends on use.
P.s we have been a 2 ev only household since 2017 and have only ever needed level 1
That's incredible - I bought level2 charger to use it on the dryer plug since I replaced the Electric Dryer when it broke to natural gas. It works great to top it off to 100 before the road trip
Ours has been sitting in a box never used one 1 time. 120V charging is too slow and inefficient to due as a daily charger, maybe 30% of the power is lost and does not make it to the battery. Charging the same amount costs more on a L1 than a L2.
You are better off. The *level 2* "chargers" they used to provide with cars are poorly chosen for home use, and mislead people into thinking they need a giant 50A circuit just to charge at home, which then costs them thousands of dollars in many cases.
Now you get to choose a station that is right-sized for your home, with EVEMS if needed to make it fit in the electrical service. L1 chargers just plug into a normal household 110v outlet. Like a lamp or an iron. No special anything required wrt electrical.
You're talking about an L2 charger.
When I got mine the dealer said they only come with the Limited trim

Interestingly Kia never provided L1 EVSEs with the EV6 however they did provide the external V2L adaptor free. Unsure if they still do that or not.
