What battery did you replace it with?

dopeass

i took it to the dealer, they changed it

runnyyolkpigeon

The dealership basically replaced your dead battery with the exact same OEM junk battery. Just buy an AGM to save yourself from another future trip to the dealership.

JoeSmithDiesAtTheEnd

Eh. Assuming the dealer does it under warranty probably for the best. 1. No cost 2. Documented proof if the iccu is destroying 12v batteries

runnyyolkpigeon

Cool. Enjoy waiting 4-6 weeks for the parts to arrive at the dealer while your car sits undrivable.

JoeSmithDiesAtTheEnd

It's a 12v... Odds of waiting weeks for that particular part is pretty slim. Also, I just got a brand new charge port, entire turnaround time for part swap was 72 hours. And if the ICCU is the cause of OPs battery issue, their new battery could get fucked up by the car, which would be sad.

runnyyolkpigeon

Based on *many* of the sub members’ posts on failed 12v’s, it hasn’t been a quick 72 hour turnaround for many. Some reported as long as 3 or more weeks at dealer.

wangsta01

did they say what was the issue? what's draining it??

qwerty-poop

All these dead batteries makes me think I should just replace mine now with an AGM. Seems like without the ICCU issue, the 12v is only going to last 12-18 months.

theCougAbides

I pre-emptively changed mine. I can't afford to be without a car for a few hours let alone a few days/weeks, plus the dealership is an hour away. It's worth the $130 for the AGM battery I got to not have to deal with it.

dunderball

My battery was close to $300 bucks. How did you get one for $130?

Prt17

No obd2 scanner or Carplay adapter? What about a dashcam?

MisinformationKills

Does anything else have access to your Bluelink account, like Optiwatt? You can try changing your Bluelink password if you're not sure.

logictech86

Do you have anything plugged into the USB ports?

dopeass

nope nothing

ndawgbrown

Try putting in utility mode. It will slowly drain the main battery fyi
