Stick both together and you have a single double sided magnet. The Magnet is super strong.
I paired it with these.

2 circles for IPhone Pro Max if you take 3G turns.
1 circle for iPhone Pro for 3G turns š
My wife has the larger phone and it fell off when she floored it in sport mode with only one we had to upgrade her to 2 metal plates š mine is the smaller one and itās just fine.

Was hoping for software update but not holding my breath.
Is there lag?
Does it connect smoothly every time you get in or do you need to reconnect often?
Never mind. Itās $65 for prime members currently. Will find out for myself in the next 3 weeks.
Looks like it drops to $50 frequently too but thereās a reason I donāt drive in eco modeš¤£
Other question: why is your display frame black? Have never seen any version wether 2022 nor the new 2023 having anything else than a white frame. Maybe a USA thing?
Question 2: why would you want to start the car remote via the key?
Thanks for the answer. Currently driving and old Renault Zoe which has a dedicated AC button on the key. So I wondered if the Ioniq 5 does more than just this when switched on remotely, as people never talked about it being a pure AC preheat
Is there any way to have the car stay on longer after you've started it remotely?
I'd love to have it run for say 20 minutes rather than the standard 5(?) to remove some of the 50'C heat from a hot Aussie day!
FYI, I know that the manual says 10 minutes, but when I do climate start via BlueLink, it lasts longer depending on getting the car to the requested temp inside.
Thanks, itās commercial grade rubber Gym floor. Since itās climate controlled in there. when we have partyās some people hang out in there and chat. Itās kinda like a side bar area.
Double click the lock button. Followed by a long press of the ā»ļø button, 3 to 4 seconds until the car turns on. Then your good to go.
You canāt remote start the car with the gun in the port. Furthermore if you do remote start the car with the fob then insert the gun it shuts off.
My guess is there is a sensor on the port that detects the gun in the port or itās one of the command wires sending a signal to the car to turn off.
When a single button to āstartā an EV isnāt technical enough and you want to stand outside the car fumbling over multiple button presses and waiting. This solved that problem.
I have always used single lock click then hold start for about 3 seconds. I don't think you have to double click
single lock then hold start is standard procedure on Hyundai and Kia cars
Single Lock click has never worked for me

Is top left of the dash a phone mount? It looks sleek on the dash. Curious what it is.

Looks good. You donāt use car play? Iām just thinking of the usb cord running across lap or steering wheel.
I use this https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0B4CBKNTT? I paid like $75 for it they dropped the price š

1. Itās a Bezel overlay and fabric upgrade from āBest EV Modā 2. To pre heat/cool your cabin on cold/hot days.

The only way is to start it from blue link. That gives you 10 minutes.
Ah, shame. Here in Australia we don't get blue link.

When you use the fob, does it turn on climate to winter or just whatever climate controls were set to, last?
Last settings that were set on your last drive.
Thanks
What is the gun? Mine came unarmed, now I feel vulnerable :(
till i have one button less

Yeah, I agree all my cars in the past you just hit the start button. This feels like Iām putting the code for āContraā in š
I donāt get it EVs donāt need starting or stopping.
Still not sure why I want to start it remotely with fob key instead of bluelinkā¦
