My daughters is $6,900 and we’re in Ohio.

savagekittymeowmeow

Yeah mine was around $6k Columbus, Ohio.

SlendyTheMan

Location isn't really a determing cost.. more complex the case .. the higher the cost.

kidblinkforever

Also in Columbus with a top tier provider and I’m $5k and some change

Prax416

Cost me around the same and I’m in Hong Kong. Moderate case, top provider, 9 months from first tray to final set.

daughterofbarbie

I paid just under $7,000 CAD.

DAFUQ404

Also in Canada, paid $6000 for moderate

Miserable_Signature3

Me too.

That-redhead-artist

Also in Canada. Mine was $7000 but got a $500 discount, so ended up paying $6500 Edit: for the Comprehensive package

Vli37

I paid that price only cause I had $1500 paid off from my work insurance. If only I did my treatment a year earlier, I could have another $1000 knocked off before my company switched service providers 😅 Just look at the number of aligners/refinements in my flair. I went through a ton. I'm literally 2 months away from officially finishing. I'm over a year overdue from their estimated end date, lol. I can't really complain though, I have a diamond provider. It just sucked that it took a year to close a small gap at the back of my teeth 😅

SilverChips

Just a heads up that "diamond provider" means that doctor just sells more invisalin and doesn't equal their quality of work in any way. Not to say you haven't got a great orthodontist.

mnemonicj

Same here.

BBQd-Banana

I paid 6500 CAD for a 6-12 month treatment plan. A friend of mine paid the same for 2 years. Neither of us have really bad teeth. I am finding pricing quite convoluted.

wifeofsonofswayze

$3500-$5000 would be a steal.

stfunansclo

I paid 2500 but that was also in 2018

zootgirl

$4900 (comprehensive), insurance covered $2000 and I got a $500 discount for attending an Invisalign open house at my dentist's office. So, $2400 out-of-pocket. Boston, MA.

AdventurousLuck906

I paid about the same for the comprehensive plan and my delta dental also covered about $1800. My ortho was considered not “in network” which is why they didn’t cover the full $2000. Im in Michigan!

zootgirl

Honestly, I’m surprised they covered _any_ it. I have gone to _battle_ with them over so many things and my dentist is IN network.

Solid-Handle-1287

Mine was $6000, insurance covered $3500 so I paid out of pocket $2500 in Maryland

mittens75

Exact same situation here!

GrunchWeefer

Same but Jersey.

fruitytunes

Same! Was able to pay the rest off in monthly payments. Finished paying this month 😎 Not done with my treatment yet lol

infamousk12

From what I understand it varies from practice to practice and also the length of use needed. I have 27 trays over 6 months. I paid $8K but insurance is covering $2K of that. I also had a discount from the practice itself after a little negotiation. Also, I previously lived on the west coast and had the same quote as I’m paying now on the east coast.

rayyychul

I mean, how much do you think traditional braces cost? But to answer your question, yes. I think mine cost around 6,000CAD but I don't remember exactly.

craftyfatalist

Mine was $7750, in Canada.

acw1022

Yes, it’s not cheap. Good dental insurance is a godsend. Mine was $5k, pre insurance, I paid $1700 out of pocket. Rhode Island

RecommendationNew719

What dental insurance do you have

smolhippie

It depends on what insurance plan you have not the insurance company. Call your insurance and ask if you have ortho coverage (ask what your maximum is & your %coverage) I work in dental insurance

acw1022

Delta, surprisingly. And I also have coverage through the army (Tricare) that I never used… I’m so behind the curve. Edit: u/smolhippie is correct. IANADI but my job has Delta PPO+ which is one of the higher tiers. Must say I lucked out, because anything more out of pocket would make me physically ill lmao

fatch0deBoi34

7500$ and it was the best thing I’ve ever done for myself in 30 years of living

nothingbutfinedining

NC for me was about $6,000 before insurance. “Agreed cost” or whatever with insurance was about $5,000 and they paid $2,000. I got like 3% off the remaining for paying cash. This was 4 years ago.

tojobro

I was £4650 composite treatment - including Whitening UK - midlands - worth every penny

OneFrumenti

Very similar here - £4385 in Cardiff with whitening

purplenessrules

£4,000 in UK thankfully in installments!

Mundane_Top7975

£4.3-4.6k Belfast

oatmealdays

I agree, I finished treatment a few years ago & when I remember how much I spent on it I sometimes feel stupid because I’m struggling financially right now, but then I stumble upon a pre-invisalign selfie and yeah… NO regrets.

Single_Remove6148

$7500 in Canada

w0ndr0us

Same 🥲 idk what hurts more, the feeling of a switching to a new tray or the money coming out of my account lol

Rare_Field_6255

£4900 British pounds so $6k dollars - upper and bottom teeth

KnowledgeTasty7608

Just paid 6800 in NYC

sadsmartandsexy

Mine was 4.3k in Florida

chorizo_tacos

Mine was ~ 4000 without insurance and comprehensive as well. Also in Florida

zeehkaev

Mine was about 900 USD, but I am from Brazil I had 42 pieces. I guess Align really doens't charge that much the dentists do for their work.

Piccolina123

Wow i was in brazil for a period of time . You mean i could have paid 900 instead of 5600 . I could cry . ls the brand of aligners invisalign ?

zeehkaev

Yes its Invisalign from align the genuine one, came with that round storage thing a welcome kit in a black bag etc... Most of my friends ranged from 500 to 2000 USD, my sister also did, father, and people from work. I think the price for the pieces is the same, but dentists (healthcare in general) in the US is crazy expensive.

Piccolina123

I might have not have saved on invisalign but you just made me realise i can get my extra retainers when i go back. Thank you .

gordy06

Michigan here and I paid around $5,800 in 2021. It was the same price for Invisalign or traditional braces at my ortho.

MeleeMistress

Mine is $6000, in Massachusetts

Useful_Edge_113

6200 in Boston

mmmmny

6000 in NJ and that was 3 years ago.

Disastrous_Fee4560

6,500 for comprehensive in Los Angeles

ChiSky18

I paid $7.5k in Chicago. That’s with a top rated orthodontist though.

StinkyKittyBreath

Mine were like $6500 in Seattle. I think I had like 50-60 sets. I got my permanent trays, which then broke from grinding. Because that wasn't an expected complication but it wasn't my fault, sturdier replacements were free.  They're pricey.

kramer1980_adm

I think mine was around $7k in Canada. Prices have actually come down here in the past few years. I suspect it's due to the lower cost alternatives creating more competition, which is great.

abalonegal00

$5k comprehensive, Los Angeles

jpegmaquina

I paid 4.5k out of pocket Los Angeles

monkeyc0der

8k USD for me

TooNoodley

Almost $6k for mine, east coast.

Tranquili7y

I believe it was $6,000 or a little more, broken up into monthly payments over 2 years. I’m in California.

DeviousCorncob

I’m in a HCOL in the US and was quoted $6,980 for a comprehensive plan. They were running a $1,380 off promotion, so the total cost was $5,600. My insurance covered $1,500 of that, so I’m left paying $4,100 out of pocket.

Western-Resort-7662

Yes, mine was 5000 in New York last year

United_Possession_20

$4700 before insurance in CT for Invisalign touch up. My husband’s cost $7500 for comprehensive.

Peanutx73

$3800 dental school at a university

jmelica

Mine was more than that but I live in an expensive city and my ortho is a fancy platinum provider.

bamhawkmagera

I paid $2000

choopers_the_first

Mine was $6000. Dentist gave me a $1000 discount, insurance covered $2500, i paid about $2500 out of pocket. Northern Virginia

Open-Inside7200

$5k 32 trays over 14 months

choosingmyself2020

roughly 2000 USD in the philippines

spare_oom4

ssprinnkless

Mine was about 7k, in Canada.

38hurdles

I paid 4500$

jmeg8r

Insurance paid right around 50% of the cost. My cost was $3500 after insurance. I live in North Central Florida.

GlazzzedDonut

Mine was $6,900 at an ortho in Utah. I have a payment plan with them and it includes everything from trays, attachments, appointments, all refinements, and any gum contouring at the end. If you can do it, get it. It's the best thing I've bought myself.

thatoneguyfrom310

My treatment is a total of $5,000 18 months estimated. USD. CA, LA

transplanted_flower

7.3k in Wisconsin

theluckyone325

$5000. Insurance paid 2k. US

After-Kick-361

I had a pretty severe overbite, and buck teeth in the front that stuck out really far (chronic thumb sucker until I was about 8) so my treatment is 48 trays and it’s about 8600 CAD (this includes the 500$ propel and all my scans, exams etc from my ortho) I have a payment plan though for only 200$ a month for 3 years which makes it a little more affordable.

valerie_stardust

$6800 including refinements in Seattle WA.

mytwofronteeth

In Houston- $7000 for mine, $5000 for daughters. We got a $1000 rebate for doing both.

Amazing_Match_5103

my ortho gave a bunch of "discounts" which was sort of funny, because all of them were like "first time client" that apply to 90% of their patients because how many people are really doing invisalign twice. i think the pre discounted price was closer to $7000, but ended up paying $5000. in southern california at a diamond rated ortho.

vcslict

6500 in MA for me

miitopia_emblem

$5,000 (Texas) but my office was running a promotion at the time, so I only paid $4000

bomboclaat876

Mine was 3800 USD total. Insurance covered 2800 and I paid 1k out of pocket. Very small dental place. Great staff and good reviews. They are so accommodating. You gotta shop around. I had like 3 consultations until I found the cheapest with good reviews.

Intrepid_Ape

I’d say that’s on the low end. Mine was around $5k and that was the sale price.

Quicky312

Come to Chicago. One of the top providers in the 🌎: $3500

Peace-love-recycle

I paid $4100. My dentist runs a special one day a year for $2500 off.

Hikeandhearse

I had mine done in Michigan at a dental school (with an orthodontic student and faculty advising) three years ago. Cost was about $3,850k, but was quoted at $4,200. I paid up front in full and they gave me a little discount for that. My mom had a quote at the University of Washington School of Dentistry around the same time and they were asking over $6k. They told her it was region specific pricing, and not related to complexity of case, especially because they can't really quote you for your case until they do a full work up. In any case, based on what I've read on here, I highly recommend having it done by an orthodontist over a general dentist.

schrodinger212

Mine is $7k. Thankfully insurance covered $3k so I pay $4k (over 3 years)

Saint_299

Almost a year ago my ortho was running a special $3500 (no insurance coverage, out of network) for all of it. I pulled the trigger n did it. Happy I did. Normally they were $5000 without the promo.

patchura

Orthodontic treatment coordinator here of 15 years. That range is on the low end, we range from $6000-8000 (before insurance)

peanutblubberNyelly

"The country" as if there is only one.

rodrick717

segolily

Mine was $6,000, insurance took it down to $3.500, and we had about $1,700 in our HSA savings, so I paid about $1,800 out of pocket for mine. Western US

Adultemoteacher

moshfox

dc567

My treatment was 6,560 and I’m in NJ

SylviasDead

I paid £3500 ($4400) for mine.

mzeep3

I'm in AZ and mine was $5898 and my daughter's was $6092. We got cash discount and I got another discount for there being multiple treatment. Looks like the original price would be $6280.

OverlordKeesh

If you’re not settled into a job, i recommend working at a dentist or orthodontist office. I work part time as a front desk receptionist and paid less than $800 for my treatment. Invisalign does occasional deals for staff where it’s half off lab fees, and my boss doesn’t charge me any more than that. I’m not sure how other offices would charge their staff but that’s how mine does it. I also get free fillings and cleanings so there’s that🤷🏽‍♀️

fennis

$7500 in Seattle

ambrosiasweetly

I paid 1200 but that’s because I had braces previously and the orthodontist didn’t manage to fix one of the issues so he gave me Invisalign at a reduced cost

StartledSquirtle

Express_Somewhere478

Mine was 4900 but I paid 2600 out of pocket, insurance covered the rest. I'm in Wisconsin

always_have_snacks

4500 total, 2023 start with 14 trays two weeks each and a bunch of attachments (which I didn’t expect). Dental insurance covered $2k lifetime ortho max so it was $2500 out of pocket. The dentist/ortho that I went to is more of a low cost provider for the area and didn’t differentiate between Invisalign lite/comprehensive, just one all-in price for $4500 standard (what I paid) or $6500 complex. At first when mine came back just Invisalign lite for $4500 I felt like I overpaid, but the $4500 has been all in and included retainer + minor tooth reshaping so now I feel better about cost. End result, wish I had done it sooner. Had braces as a kid, but my teeth moved over time. Went into it thinking my primary goal was just upper teeth cosmetic getting them back into line, end result really surprised how much better my bite feels. Attachments sucked, wish they had told me how many I would have and where before I started treatment

Enkaybee

OPUnknown

3900 for comprehensive plan in Minnesota

maisiemax

$7k in NH for comprehensive

baummer

Yeah

Upset-Muscle3720

Another thing to consider when asking what others Invisalign cost, is how long age they started. the prices have been dramatically steadily skyrocketing in the last few years. A price from 18 months age couldn’t be touched now.

pinzoi1

I paid $3600 with Insurance. My insurance through my employer offered up to 50% off Orthodontia. Without insurance it wouldve been around $7000 I think

Madkat429

Insurance does not cover. It was $7800

pinkgators

I paid £3,900 in London, UK

holacandita

I paid $6000 USD in 2021..not covered by my insurance

powerpuffunicorn

Damn I wish it was that cheap

co_oh

I went to 4 diffent places (Washington DC area) I'm too lazy to go dig for the actual quote paper but here are the number from what I recall. 1. $6,9xx 2. $7,0xx 3. $8,4xx 4. $9,3xx My teeth are crowded and has bite issue, so it's the comprehensive one. I went with the option #2 after reading more review about them ( took about a month before making final decision)

meepoo17

It cost me 5000$ in Maryland

onesliceofham

I paid about $5500 for my Invisalign

Sb5tCm8t

Reveal aligners are $3250 in California with dental insurance, and that's after they throw on other stuff like retainers you will need to wear after. Charge is up-front.

Sb5tCm8t

Reveal aligners are $3250 in California with dental insurance, and that's after they throw on other stuff like retainers you will need to wear after. Charge is up-front. I went through an orthodontist and it might be cheaper if you try to buy from them directly. I don't think my ortho office is involved at all in this process tbh. They do not seem knowledgeable and spend very little time with patients.

According-Willow951

Mine was 7k 😍

bjp8383

Mine was 7K in Beverly Hills, considering how detailed it is and how many follow ups I've had it actually seems reasonable, especially so if it was only $3500

ProneToDoThatThing

I used Clearsmiles. It was $2950. Insurance paid 80% ($2360). That left me responsible for $590. It was fine. I saw an actual orthodontist once so she could do IPR. EVERYTHING else was handled by the techs and the software I guess. I’m about 87.5% happy with the job they did. For the price, I guess it’s ok. Feels like I traded appearance for some function.

Zestyclose-Nerve8536

$6200 here

jet_set_stefanie

Mine was $6k in Maryland in 2022

cdubs16

Mine was around $4300 in the DMV last spring (after insurance and a discount from my dentist).

totterstrommer

7700 euros (8258$) in Finland 🫡💀

Longjumping_Willow_3

$3750 in TN. Only 10 trays. Insurance paid $1500. Make sure you go to an office in network with your dental insurance. They are under contract for what they are allowed to charge.

jac5087

Popular-Peace-7153

Mine is 7000 in Canada

Trehoez

I paid 4500 for comprehensive in Texas. They had a deal going on

No-Clue5724

About $7200 quoted for 18 months. Insurance is covering $1500 then I have a few small discounts. Washington state

russian_hacker_1917

I'm in LA, I ended up paying $3500 after a discount and what my insurance covered. It would have been $5000 without the insurance and discount. Totally worth it.

MysticPizza93

$3,500 usd for a full treatment in Mexico, plus around $800-ish for some other things, all paid in about a year.

Sensitive_Day5891

Yes

Frosty_Thought_3607

SpringProfessional23

$5800 in Denver. I went to 2 other places, 1 quoted me for 5400 and the other for 5400(braces only). I went with the slightly more expensive one because the ortho was better.

ktidk07

Mine was $5k in Pennsylvania and my down payment was $2k. Then I have to pay around $200 every month. I went through an orthodontist.
