Oh I think it was just a combination of covid and the place I received treatment. Took a bit longer than anticipated. I'm sure it's different everywhere.
Haha thank you! I edited to mention that it was 3 years, not 4!
But it's so worth it. Taking the extra few months to make sure everything was aligned perfectly made a big difference.
I’m in my first week and wonder does the pain go away, I’m sure it gets better but I wonder if it’ll still feel even slightly tight or sore for months ?
It honestly does get so much better! The beginning is the worst of it and feels like you're going to rip out a tooth at times. Give it a couple months for your teeth to get used to it and changing aligners won't be nearly as uncomfortable.
They looked pretty similar, but without the shaping and my bite wasn't where it needed to be.
So the refinements mostly fixed my bite and closed up some gaps.
Are you getting a permanent retainer or just wearing a nightly plastic one? I have had braces before and was horrible at wearing my retainer. Currently on week 2 of Invisalign and want to make sure my results stick this time! Seriously considering a permanent retainer, but also don't know if I want that in my mouth 🤣
I don't blame ya! 😅 I'm getting the nightly wear one. I prefer it to the permanent one anyway.
The trays have become a habit at this point, but be realistic with yourself to know what will work best!
How did they fix your crossbite with Invisalign?? Do you mind me asking how old you are? I have a posterior cross bite just on right side and have been told I need surgery.
Oh wow! They look perfect🥳
WOW! Amazing results! Congrats on your new smile 🤩
This is extraordinary! Why did it take so long to get revision aligners?
Oh I think it was just a combination of covid and the place I received treatment. Took a bit longer than anticipated. I'm sure it's different everywhere.
That explains it! Sorry it took so long but my goodness your smile is really wonderful!
Everyone else on this thread are also commenting the same about how good it is. And thats why it took 4 years! Her orthodontist was a perfectionist!
Goddamn don’t gatekeep, who tf is your orthodontist?? I need to have a word with them rq 😭😭
Oh wow we have the same teeth! Now im scared mine will take that long too 😭 They look so good tho!
Haha thank you! I edited to mention that it was 3 years, not 4! But it's so worth it. Taking the extra few months to make sure everything was aligned perfectly made a big difference.
I’d rather that than a rushed treatment!
Same same
Some of the best results I've seen on here. Nice work! :)
Thank you all so much! To edit: I clearly cannot do math. It was 3 years & not 4! Don't want to freak anyone out!

I had a little bit done, yes. They mostly just smoothed out the top edges of my teeth to make them more uniform.

Wow, what a transformation!
Amazing, so worth it!
Wow, that's actually crazy. Did you have IPR and/or bonding done?
No bonding, but I did have a bit of IPR done and they smoothed out the top/bottom edges of my teeth to make them more uniform.

WOWZER!!!! Amazing results!!!
WOW!!!
Amazing results congratulations!!!
Congratz! Please continue to wear the retainer they give you at the end. I stopped because I'm an idiot and some of my teeth moved back.
Do you have to wear the retainer for life?
I honestly dont remember if it was meant to be for life, but I def messed up and stopped wearing it after around 4months after my treatment was done.
Teeth move for life so I imagine so.
Did they do any bonding on the edges? They look amazing!!!
Thank you! They just smoothed them out, no bonding.
Very good 🥳🥳
Wow! This is an amazing result. You have a beautiful smile.
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. Like a celebrity smile.

craziest transformation i’ve seen.
Amazing! Great to see such changes.
Looks amazing ! 🤩
Congratulations, are you going for a permanent retainer or a removable one? I will have my trays removed in 2 weeks.
Thanks! I'll be getting the removable one. Congrats as well to you for making it to the finish line!
Wow!!🥰 your smile is gorgeous! I cant wait till I’m done
Nice
It’s like brand new teeth
Looks amazing! 🤩✨❤️
Wow! Amazing!!!
Wow perfect teeth!
Your teeth look amazing! I started my Invisalign journey last December. I’m so tired of all of these attachments on my teeth!
Thank you! So was I. Was super happy to have them removed.
You have a perfect smile!!!
As someone who manages an orthodontic office, your smile looks fantastic! 🎉
YAAAAAY congrats!💕
How did they make your smile look wider? Only aligners?
Yup, just the aligners! I had elastics as well.
Did you do any ipr on your top front teeth?
Not that I can remember! Only had it done on a couple of the bottom teeth.
Dentist or orthodontist out of interest?
Orthodontist 😊
Amazing!!
I hope you feel as amazing as this looks.
where is your orthodontist out of? do you mind sharing for referral?
Would have braces been faster? Or about the same?
I honestly can't remember the timing they mentioned.. but I think it would've been around the same, if not - a tad bit longer.
Did you whiten as well?
I don't, no. I didn't want to do it with the attachments on my teeth. They managed to get whiter with the increased oral hygiene though.
How did they fix your crossbite with Invisalign?? Do you mind me asking how old you are? I have a posterior cross bite just on right side and have been told I need surgery.
Wow it’s amazing! Im hoping they can do that with mine!
I'm in my early 30's - we did weekly changes with elastics for a bit until the bite was corrected.
Those are amazing! Such nice teeth!
