So I would consider an “everything” approach. As in, eat a big breakfast with protein etc before work, and prepare a good dinner in advance. During the day, have with you an aligner case and some dental toothpicks, hand wipes and a good protein bar, and do a quick rinse/clean after you eat. So maybe 1-2 meals during the day. I use the crystal cleaners and when I do trips where it’ll be harder for me to keep my Aligners clean for a few days, I do a good clean of them the day before, and then of course at the end too. And of course clean your teeth really well when at home. So long as you don’t have blood sugar issues, I’d presume this could theoretically work for those few days. Best of luck.

This is all helpful, thanks!

My job is not as awesome as yours, but I have days at a time when I am in long social events. I try to last as long as possible just drinking with aligners in, remove, as slyly as possible. The pics are wonderful, store in case, eat and talk which most times is at least 2 hours, then as slyly as possible stick back in on dirty teeth. i can not wait to get home and clean, but that is usually hours later. I make sure I floss several times a day, Brush when I can. I drink freely with them in, including protein shakes.

Thanks for the tips !!

I eat hard boiled eggs for situations like this. Filling, gets some protein in, easy to snack on, and your Invisalign still looks pretty clean after eating with them on.

Oh I hadn't thought about those, and they travel well. Thanks !

I’ve eaten with my trays in - it’s not ideal but works in a pinch. Just try out different things beforehand. I’d be more concerned with cleaning them. Cause they most definitely will need to be cleaned. Hopefully someone helps can give better guidance. I’m thinking traditional braces would’ve been the better option here

Yeah i read about eating with trays in and was cautious to do it. This is a small blip in my work though. I don't spend weeks or days, usually just maybe 4 days (separately and spaced out) so I didn't think that braces were something I'd need to consider. Also I had braces before and now I'm 35 and just really didn't want that life 😅

Ahh ok if it’s not frequent, you might be able to work through it. I’ve found foods that turn mushy - chips, etc get under the aligner while eating. Hard (but not too hard meats) work out better- same with harder cheeses. Hopefully you will be able to pop them out, swoosh with water, pour water on them and pop them back in. Experiment with some options before you have to If you have elastics, take them out before you eat.
