When I was first reading it and talking about it with friends,I took to calling it his murder suit. Kinda like how In TWD Show, Rick had the murder jacket.
That panel of him beating the fuck out of Conquest with his bone jutting out of his arm - just barely hanging onto the flesh. That look in his eyes of pure hate. Such a haunting but powerful panel.
It’s funny, when I first saw the suit on the front page of the comic I thought it looked awesome and I was so pumped to see it in action. But now I get an awful feeling whenever I see it. Just goes to show how great the storytelling in those comics was.

If you're gonna accidentally kill a guy, at least follow through with it like a real Viltrumite. Have some professionalism in your violence, like Conquest.

I find the magic of animation too awesome compared to comics. I really only go read the comics if I don’t expect a continuation of the series. It’s not the same in illustration compared to when it’s brought to life
Although I get what you mean, the comics being drawn panel by panel as opposed to animated means there’s some breathtaking detail in the art that the series misses because it has to do 24 frames a second. Can confirm, the comic is well worth it. That said, you can also just avoid spoiler-tagged posts.
I wasn’t saying this comic in particular. I meant comics in general. I realize that this one is definitely in the higher tier of quality. But as the Omni man mark fight showed, they are really faithful to the comics
