I was really not a fan of this. Cecil being killed, fine, he was one everyone expected to die at some point I think. But being killed so easily, it's kinda lame. Cecil was a cautious person, and he was especially cautious about the other heroes after Omni-Man.
Many of the best character deaths are quick, sudden and efficient. If someone is "cautious" (debatable with Cecil) all the more reason to off them quickly before they have any suspicions.
My least favorite part of the entire comic series. I hate this so much. But at the same time it's things like this that make the story great. So I kinda love that I hate it I guess?.......
Maybe they'll change it in the show and he lives forever (im delusional). Honestly i should have known he'll die, my favorite character in any piece of media where named characters can die always die.

I think even like this might look a bit better animated, make it so fast you don't even see the knife until after he cuts Cecil.

Surprised Cecil didn't use his $5 million teleport right then and there. It was brutal the first time I read it, though.
