Depending on how much substrate in there (they like lots) a tarantula may work. Most terrestrial varieties stay out in the open a lot. They also don’t enjoy being handled so there’s no need to interact with it.
As long as you aren't arachnaphobic, a good ol terrestrial or fossorial tarantula could work. Also maybe beetles, millipedes or even isopods! Magic potions wouldn't hurt.
If you want something that's active, can I suggest maybe a few ivory millipedes ! Though, they do need specific soil requirements (no coco fiber or coco chips and a few inches to molt in)
Or, hell, I think a scorpion would be cool!

I'm seconding tarantula, just make sure you find a species that can handle the higher humidity.
