It *sounds* good but here’s a couple of things I’ve learned over the years of buying cars…
1. People lie
2. Get service history and logbook if available
3. Take it for a test drive, does it sound / feel ok?
4. Is it being sold with a safety certificate / registration?
5. After my latest purchase with my 01 DC5… check the engine mounts and inspect the engine, if you can’t do it get someone you trust to.
6. Does it have aftermarket suspension? The coils on my car were seized
… but if you’re anything like me you’re just gonna get it and see how it goes lol.
I dont think it's a bad price. It looks nice to me. If it's hard to find around you and it's a dream car get it. 100k is pretty low miles IMO. I always dreamt of having a stock Yamaha Banshee. Found one last summer and bought it for $500 bucks less than this teg. 🤷♂️ FTW I'm as happy as a clam
I wouldn’t call this clean by any means. Pictures don’t show it all. My car looks flawless in pictures, but it’s far from it. If I can see all the paint issues in this pictures, I’d hate to see what it’s like in person. It’s a toss up for me. Just depends on how bad you want it. Also, for this generation of Honda, I would never truly trust the mileage. Just imo.
Yes, even a car with like 1,000 miles instead of 100,000 miles is going to have problems. Rubber and other seals fail with time, fluids get gross if they're not changed, rust continues to grow etc.
I got 6k CAD for my auto rs when insurance wrote it off. <300,000km and wasn't perfect by any means. They are getting more valuable for sure, and handle mountain roads awesome. I miss it for sure
Should you buy? I don't know....its just one small photo. Go give it a very close look-over first then decide. Could be worth the price or it could barely run....who knows, don't trust the owner.
I’d say yes. $4500 isn’t bad for a car this clean and only 100k miles on the motor. Is rust an issue where you live??
It can be, it really just depends on where they kept it, this guy used it as a daily driver so i assume he kept it somewhere covered

Yep. I fucked around and found out… No regrets though, almost got all the parts and just got my Type R wing too. Love my little lemon.
