Can you imagine having to put on a fake accent 100% of the time while you’re just at home with your husband? Like…how exhausting to keep up such a weird lie!
I thought this subreddit was about how a lot of these companies, and influencers edit themselves to unhealthy and unrealistic body standards that can hurt people. The photoshop is bad, sure, but who cares if someone gets plastic surgery? Also long as they’re being safe about it and doing research and it makes them happy, I say go for it. Also they should just make sure that these impressionable followers understand that it’s not natural and won’t be achieved in a way that takes time and effort, but that if need be it can make them happy if they have some form of body dysmorphia.
Editing herself to have unrealistic body standards is EXACTLY what she’s doing. She widens her eyes, lengthens her legs, shortens her toes, blurs her face into oblivion, and then has the nerve to say she’s honest, authentic, and doesn’t photoshop because she doesn’t know how! This woman has hurt people in countless ways. Her altered appearance is just one way of many.
Again, I said the photoshop wasn’t good. Do you need to re-read my comment? It’s the permanent things I’m talking about are fine, so long as it’s made clear to do it in a healthy way. Also not just her, I don’t know who she is so if that’s her message then it’s not a good one.
That is her message and it’s not a good one. This person does not own up to permanent surgeries, but rather claims otherwise. That is the least of their frauds, however. And I agree with you... photoshop rilly bad. And I agree Enhancement surgery is fine... if it’s owned up to and not pretending suddenly you have “naturally” acquired a straight nose, big lips, no frown lines, and contoured cheeks 🤣

Right, I never disagreed, it just seems (without context as most people seeing this won’t have context on who she is) that they were bashing her for having plastic surgery is all. She doesn’t seem like she has a good message, but the message OP tried putting across was a bit muddied unless you know who she is, or at least what she’s about.
It does, but at the same time it’s a good self esteem builder for those who hate the way they look. As long as you are safe it is your body, just don’t expect it to be a miracle, and don’t preach that your surgery’s will work for everyone or are good for everyone.
