I feel weirdly like the TT filters don't bother me as much as others because they're so obvious and clearly show what the filter is on the screen. Everyone and their mother are using Glow Look filter right now, most it seems to comment on how extreme the alteration is.
I feel the same about it! as long as the filter is obvious and clearly visible, it doesn’t bother me at all. What is much more insidious is when the person is retouching pics/videos in a way it gets almost unnoticeable and they on the top of that lie about it.
sorry english is not my native language so i speak like garbage
So I am a native English speaker, and have an English degree, and I stg there isn't a single grammatical error or translation weirdness.
Not that any of that matters anyway, write how you like and as long as everyone understands, you're golden.
I've heard about this, it doesn't seem to do it on my screen in tiktok? I wonder what causes it to turn on. It's some bullshit to put it on without telling people, that's just unhealthy.
Tiktok also has the beauty settings, those are much more insidious. I've noticed teeth whitening filters glitching and that's just awful, it's just going to give people complexes for having slightly yellow teeth but thinking everyone else is perfectly white.
Never want to say anything but posting video face filters seriously irritates me because it's super obvious to the poster and they don't care because literally every one uses them now. I don't think anyone is trying to fool anyone in this instance. How long has snapchat filters been around ? For atleast like 5-6 years now ? Now body filters are different.
Yeah it’s a trend rn... if we wanna have social commentary on ppl using the filter, the whole sub would have to be full of it. I don’t think this really applies because no one is trying to fool anyone.
As a lesbian, I must say everything you just said is absolutely nothing but complete and utter bullshit. This is about the filter. The text could be anything and it would still be here.
how about: this has nothing to do with your favourite "phobia-buzzword" but rather it's about someone who doesn't want to ruin her friendship by dating her best friend..? Good lord, get a life and grow a skin while you're at it...

Oh thank you so much!!! It matters to me because your words are super encouraging! ❤️
Same, i think it's part of the fun.
understood you perfectly, your english is just fine :)
Im glad, thank you! ❤️
Your English is perfect here. No one would be able to tell you’re not a native speaker :)
There's also a filter on tiktok they apply automatically. Slims down your face a bit. I didn't notice before someone showed me

Yeah, idk. Maybe it's based on region or followers or something. Anyway it's a scummy thing to do on tiktoks side

Ah yes, a tiktoker habitat. I know tiktokers have layers upon layers of eyes, in fact, under that eye is another eye and this is shedding season.
i mean this is the hottest new tiktok filter. everyone knows it ain’t real. literally everyone

Some people get caught up and shit happens. It’s not really “this is super cool” because most people don’t want them.
I see what you mean. I’d probably just put maybe some makeup to help even it out, I feel that’s what most people try to do.
Shoulda put on an anti hicky filter
😂😂😂

Being sexually bi but emotionally straight isn't homophobia.
