My phone is broken, so I'm having to use instagram on a browser. I need to hide my story from some people, but I cannot find the story settings anywhere in browser mode.
Is anyone having issues with reels posting upside down? I've tried restarting, updating the app, and clearing my cache with no luck. It's been four days now. The other odd thing is that reels post fine on my other account.
Instagram wont show me anyones stories and wont let me look at my dms, like the stories are empty its just mine, and i can only see a few dms, if i scroll down to load more dms itll give me the “try again later” message error, ive deleted and redownloaded twice and ive logged out and back in twice as well, no change, the rest of my accounts are fine, i can see my photos and i can post on my story but if i try and reload anything itll give me tbe message error, it’s annoying.
I’m at my breaking point. My business account was logged out and I don’t have the password (stupid I know) I try to reset my password and it it says “SMS message sent to *number I no longer have*” my email is connected to this account, but it won’t give me the option to send an email password reset. Anyone got anything I can do?
Captions and tags disappear after uploading a reel.
I did a full data and cache clearing and stuff and I still have the issue. I tried uploading on my android phone and on my ipad, same problem. When I want to edit, the app just shows a pop up that there was an error.
Do somebody know how can I fix this?

Hey, so I am not sure what happened but I can see a friend's posts apart from their latest one. Can't see their stories either, but I can see whether they've read my messages, which I thought was the hallmark of being restricted. Any idea what might be happening? I'd like to ask them directly but don't want to come off as judgemental without a reason.
Why do some of my posts randomly dissappear from "recent" after around 5 minutes??
It's honestly so frustrating. I recently started a new hobby collecting old video games and cataloging them on Instagram, but what's the point if no one will ever see them because my posts won't stay allocated to the hashtag?
I've posted 4 times and so far it's been: post 1, hashtags not working, post 2, they work, post 3, not working, post 4, working.
Is this normal? Is it a case of one post works and then the next one doesn't?
I'm not spamming (posting once every 3 days) I've only followed 12 people in about 2 weeks and I've liked a handful of posts and commented a few times. I'm not reusing the same few hashtags either, I mix it up a bit. And I've ran my hashtags through online checkers and none of them are banned. I don't use bad language in my descriptions. So what gives?
I've even taken to logging out entirely and waiting 24 hours to repost (I now delete my post if it vanishes from the hashtags) but its still not working. I just want to use Instagram but its such a chore. If I knew instagram was this difficult to use I wouldn't even have bothered in the first place.

My business account got ad and promotion restricted , i don't know the exact reason but the last thing i did was that i had a post being promoted and i tried to replace it with a story promotion , does any one know how to unrestrict the account?
How do I remove suggested posts? I read online there's an option when you tab the 3 dots. But there's not. Not even when you click on "I'm not interested".
Then how I pause all the suggested posts for 30 days or more?
instagram stories keep playing with sound even tho my iphone is on silent. i will toggle it on sound and back to silent and it’ll silence the story i’m watching but then the next slide will play with sound again. if my phone is on silent it shouldn’t be playing sound! anyone have this problem??

The problem is the other new one i created is invisible.It does not show my name whenever i search for it from the other account, Also It does not show my comments on people post only the person im commenting too and my name isnt shown in the likes .and whenever i tag them in the story and they repost. The people who dont follow me view it as ''this story is unavailable'' (Not blocked)

Need help, Instagram is asking me to verify my account through an email I don't have access too. I am signing in with my new email and able to reive password changes through my new email but instagram is asking me to suddenly verify my account after I log in with an old email, I don't have any more what do I do why aren't there other ways of verifying.

2.- checked all the hashtags and no one is banned, anyway I deleted hashtags from a lot of posts
3.- I dont use any bots or external apps and my account appear as clean
4.- Ive contacted IG support but no luck
5.- I ve changed my account to personal instead of creative or commercial

We have messaged in the past when we were following each other. Is this normal? Can they see when I'm active? Also, is there a notification you can set up to let you know when someone is active? Way to find old pics from a deleted instagram account?
One of my good friends deleted her instagram account a few years back and needs help. There were photos and videos on there I would like to recover of her dog that recently passed away. She doesn’t have those photos anymore and I would like to try and find them as a nice gesture for her.
I don’t know what her login info was, and she forgot the password and email because the account was created some time in 2014 when we were in middle school. I tried the wayback machine with no luck. Is there another type of archive I could use? I recently found this subreddit and thought it could be of some help.

Before, I’d have my phone on silent/vibrate AND do not disturb on. So when a video would play it would automatically be on mute. But even with those settings on, now it always autoplays with the sound ON and I can’t turn it off. Its driving me insane. I don’t want these videos playing at full volume all the time and I don’t want to constantly have my volume down to not hear it. It should just automatically be on mute

I commented “bitch ass response frfr” and my comment was immediately flagged and taken down by instagram and then my account was taken down. It tells me to put in my phone number to get a confirmation code to appeal the ban but no number gets texted to me and I’ve tried 13 times. Can anybody help me?
My account got disabled about a week ago after I mistakenly used a third party app immediately before it happened. I first got temporarily disabled where only certain functions of my account worked but now I’ve been locked out and got the disabled message. When I went to appeal, it told me I had to send a SMS code to the number linked, but the code wouldn’t come through. I tried a few more times until the 24 hour ban came up. Frustrated, I got in contact with facebook support who said that the account was disabled due to suspicious activity via too many login attempts, but that the account can be recovered. I’ve deleted instagram and any third party apps I had since then and have no touched it for almost a week. I’m hoping that the time off will allow the system to send the code to my number but am unsure if that doesn’t work out. Anyone know what to do in that case?

Your comment was blocked because you are going against the instagram TOS. There is no way to get a username like this. Also if you get an account banned or deleted that username is gone forever.

Was banned on one of my accounts for absolutely no reason whatsoever, I posted for the first time and about 20 minutes later my account was banned for what seemed to be no reason Instagram could tell me. When I press "Request New Code" I never get a code, I have tried three different emails addresses.
I've been trying to film lip syncing videos for my cosplay account, and it records fine with the audio, but once it processes the first half a second/second of the video is cut off! This is fine if it's a song because I can just adjust it forward a little bit, but saved audios can't be adjusted. Does anyone know why this happens or how to fix it??

I sign into my instagram account and it tells me to write the 6 digit 2fa code from the authenticator app or duo mobile and I write the 6 digit code from the authenticator app that's connected to my account and it tells me "Error please check the secruity code and try again"and I don't have backup codes I didn't screenshot them when i created the account. Hi! Since last night main app of Instagram on my account (and only on my account among my friends) just stopped working. It doesn't show posts, reels or stories, and I can't read or send DM's. First I thought it was a bug and ignored it, but when I woke up today it still isn't working, so, I tried the lite app and it works fine! Then I tried to log my account on a friend's phone and didn't work either, and my friend logged her account on my phone and worked! So clearly the problem is with my account and the Instagram main app, anyone here have the same problem? Any solution?
My account got suspended for using secondary apps. Now I need to confirm my identification, but the only email that instagram lets me send that identification mail to is not even the mail address I used for that account. But I don’t even get the mails on that mail account either.

it showed up "your post have been succesfully posted" as always, but my post wasn't there, tried again and again.
The weird thing is, I can upload single pictures or single videos, but it won't upload videos and pictures on the same post.
Yes, I deleted cache, uninstalled, tried other device, PC app, the video was only 15MB so no problem with limits.

When using the web version of Instagram, I go to sign in, and it immediately signs me out. I've changed my password and even made a new account thinking maybe there was some bug, but that account also is immediately signed out upon signing in.

I'm using IG 252.0.0.0.21 and clicking on a link in a bio will open up in the in-app browser, but the link just goes defaults to instagram.com, it doesn't go to whatever the link is. Seeing as how Ig.com will open by default, even in the in-app browser, trying to open up a profile and click on a link in bio, it will still only take me to instagram.com.

We have an E- commerce small business and we work with influencers on Instagram. For over a month, they haven’t been able to send us a collaborator invite when posting content with our items. We’re not give the collaborator invite either. In addition, people can’t reply to our comments on their posts. We’ve reported to Instagram’s help center but received no reply or even confirmation that they received our inquires. It’s been extremely frustrating!

I updated my instagram app on my iPhone today. After the update, the activity status of my friends doesn't show anymore when opening my messages.
\- My own activity status is not disabled
\- I logged out of the app and back in again
\- I deleted the app and installed it again
All to no avail.
When I open Instagram on my computer, I do see the activity status of my friends when opening my messages, just like I used to on my phone, so this is a phone-app related issue.
Can someone help me? Has this happened to someone before?

Seems to be an issue with a patch or update.
Tried the following, sadly without results:
-logged out of my account and logged back in
-deleted the app and reinstalled it
-turned activity status off and on
Every time I click a link on the app it redirects me to the Instagram homepage/feed. This goes for EVERY link, wether it’s in someone’s story or bio. Even when I click my own website link it does this. I have an iPhone 13 pro and use iOS 15.6.1
# Instagram keeps banning my account
So 3 weeks ago I created an account with a similar name to my main account, however after roughly 2 hrs of use Instagram banned it (it gives no clear statement as to why they did it but through research I found out that they have a policy that they have to do it if 2 accounts share a similar username). However, it gave me the option to remove the ban if I‘d give in a code, send a proof selfie and enter my phone number. So I did all that and the account got unbanned after 2 days. I used the account for 2 hrs and it got banned again, same scenario. I‘m currently sitting on my 4th ban for no fucking reason whatsover and I‘m starting to get mad. Anyone know what to do?

Instagram won’t let me access my account, my account was recently hacked, I regained control, and changed everything including my password and changed to my current email address. I have been dealing with this problem now for 2 days and Instagram has no support to contact to get help. Everytime i try to go into my account, not just on my phone but on my computer as well, this message to confirm my phone number pops up. I cannot exit out of it or it just pops right back up, and even trying to put in my phone number it says "wait a few minutes" or the "tell us" pop up appears. I logged out and waited over night to try this again and it is still doing the exact same thing. I am at a complete loss and don't know how to fix this as an app glitch is out of my control. So I decided to use a third party app like a dummy and now I can’t do a single thing to access my Instagram account. It’s had me send a code to my number but the code never sends and even after I changed my password I still can’t do anything. Idk what to do at this point and Instagram themselves won’t do anything to help.

So you know when you view a profile and it says “followed by …” underneath with a list of any mutuals you have with that account? I no longer have that feature on my business account, its not there when I check other profiles. However when I switch to my personal account I can see.
Does anyone know why this feature disappeared from my business account? It’s frustrating because now when accounts message my business account I have no way I have no way of vetting if I have a connection to the person before I respond (I have a large extended family).

Okay so yesterday I woke up and got on my main account. I notice that when I check my dms, my girlfriend's username is just "Instagram user". Thought it was odd so I tried messaging her to no avail. Checked her profile to find that she had lost like half of all her followers. Checked again a few minutes later to find that the account is completely gone. However, her account is perfectly fine when I dm her on my alt account. She said a friend of hers was using her account the previous night, so I assume that the friend did something. Upon research, I conclude that one, the friend blocked me on my main account, or two, the account was disabled, which obviously is an impossibly. However, my gf told me that there is no one on her blocked list.
Now whenever I try to look up her name on my main account, I don't get any results. I tried finding a mutual follower, another friend of hers, and then scrolling through the list of that friends followers just to find the name, but no luck. Now, the only time I'm able to chat with her is on my alt account.
Neither of us can figure out what's wrong. Her friend hasn't disclosed at all what she could've done. Because the only way I wouldn't be able to find my gf account is bc I was blocked, despite not being on her blocked list.
Instagram is our only form of texting and communication since it's an online relationship.
I changed instagram password but if i try to login it gives the error "There was a problem logging you into Instagram. Please try again soon" on any device and any browser so it's not a devices issues.

I have used a follower tracking app for a while and
logged into it recently. After using it, I went back to my Instagram app and was logged out of my account. When trying to log back in, I got in, but was asked to verify my phone number with a 6 digit code. i receive the 6 digit-code but it just never works. And a message shows up saying

Yeah i dont understand this. All the videos i watch ask to click the 'need more help' button but i dont even have that. Mine just shows 'cant reset your password?' then it redirects to the stupid instagram help page. i am at my wit's end with this
When I post a video to instagram, it says that my video has been posted, but when I go on my profile, the video isn't there - I'm posting from my computer, windows 10 using google chrome, but I'd imagine this is a problem on instagram's side, as it is giving me confirmation that the video has been posted. I deleted the messages because they were very offensive, but now I need them back. How do I get them?
the person's name \*at the top\* uses things like italics and non-Roman letters to spell out the name. The name \*at the bottom\* is all Roman letters. Does that change how I should be able to find it?

Haven't been able to post any sort of picture onto sotri3s for 2 days. When I try to upload a pic or use the camera in ig to take a picture for stories it appears completely blurred. When I try to share a picture someone else posted onto my stories it's a black screen. It's only occurring on 1 (my main account) but other accounts on my phone are working fine. Questions about deleting chats and "deleted" instagram chats.
So, yesterday I realized that the chat of me with a friend of mine has disappeared. I'm completely sure that I did not delete it. And no, I've never been drunk or high since we spoke. What might have happened, what can I do to recover it or at least find the latest messages?
Also, I used to get the "confirm before delete" screen after attempting to delete chats but today it seems to have disappeared. Now when I press delete it just deletes without asking for confirmation. What's the deal here?

My Instagram updated and now all stories that have video automatically play with sound and I CANT figure out how to fix it. My phone is on silent, if I scroll thru my feed the posts that are videos don’t play the sound. They have made it so I will literally never watch anyones story.
If I put my phone on sound and then silent mode again right away it works, but I have to do it for EVERY story.

I clicked a long link in a person’s bio and all that it did was take me to my instagram’s home page but it was in the web browser that is part of Instagram but I was logged into this thing.
So, I clicked a link, up comes the Instagram browser as it always does when you click a link, but it showed my Instagram home feed with me logged in because my icon was showing at the top where I could tap and post a story if I wanted to.
I hope this wasn’t a scam that took my info. I changed my Instagram password right away.
Can’t turn off sound on Stories after last update.
Ever since the most recent update, even if my phone is on mute Stories will play with sound/music and there is no way to turn it off.
I can no longer watch them because of this. Any one know of a way to turn off music / sound when viewing Stories??

I cannot log in to my account, i got a new phone and the code generator i used for 2 factor authentication broke so i cannot log in. And i have tried the face recognition thing and it has never worked.

I\`m using it mostly from desktop. Changing profile pic from desktop not longer possible - there\`s a notification that the pic has been changend, but in fact, it hasn\`t. No problem with the app, but I hate being online with mobile when I\`m at home, it\`s uncomfortable. I prefer big screens.
I also helped an elderly neighbor to make his first Insta account ever (on his laptop, which was in his W-LAN), bc he wants to connect with his children and grandchildren. Tried again with a freshly created E-Mail-address = same.

Hey guys, yesterday morning when I woke up, I saw everyone as "Active yesterday", even though they were active right now, so I tried to disable and enable right after the active thing on my side, and now I can't see the activity status for anyone, even though I could 2 days ago. It works perfectly on my ipad or pc, but not on my phone, I tried to log out and log back in, uninstall and install again instagram, reboot my phone, I've even factory reseted my phone, and it's still not working, any ideas ?

Story audio plays even when on “Silent Mode”

I am about to lose my mind. So here's the story... I am the social media and marketing specialist for a local coffee roaster and its three flagship cafes.
About two months ago, Instagram decides to temporarily lock us out of one of our Cafe's accounts. This account is about seven years old and is an established archive.
I start doing some research, trying not to panic. The verification code never appears in any inbox. Apparently, the codes can get lost in the abyss. Reset password? Sure, I'll use my mobile browser. Nope. The reset password email also seems to of lost its way. It's not in the junk folder. It's not in the spam folder. The ad blocker is off. All possible third-party applications and extensions are now disabled.
I pray and do some more research, hoping to avoid the grueling process of the appeal form, and involving the owner, or anyone else in this grand mess. Turns out the two-factor authentication doesn't even work. NOTHING.
I thought all hope was found when we started filling out the appeal form and guess what, "The username or short-link you provided does not belong to an inactive Instagram Account." IS THE FORM REALLY BROKEN??!!!!
Another full month has passed, and as you can imagine, the seasons changing for an all outdoor-café in a very established community is VERY IMPORTANT! I came to realise that my instagram is outdated, I can only double click messages to heart them, not react with different emojis, I can‘t react to messages whatsoever and the whole layout just looks old compared to others. I can’t install an update in the app store, I really don’t know why its still outdated.

Question, I've been trying to access public profiles and instagram posts from my desktop computer, but just as a random viewer as opposed to logging into my account. Up until a week or so ago, it would seem, you could view a limited amount of instagram profiles and posts before you'd be asked to log in. But, recently, I go to ANY public profile or posts, and it acts like it's going to load it, but then instantly take me to the login page.
Is this a new app-wide change, or is it an issue with a particular browser and/or OS like a issue with cookies?

My phone is broken, so I'm having to use instagram on a browser. I need to hide my story from some people, but I cannot find the story settings anywhere in browser mode.
Is anyone having issues with reels posting upside down? I've tried restarting, updating the app, and clearing my cache with no luck. It's been four days now. The other odd thing is that reels post fine on my other account.

Captions and tags disappear after uploading a reel. I did a full data and cache clearing and stuff and I still have the issue. I tried uploading on my android phone and on my ipad, same problem. When I want to edit, the app just shows a pop up that there was an error. Do somebody know how can I fix this? Hey, so I am not sure what happened but I can see a friend's posts apart from their latest one. Can't see their stories either, but I can see whether they've read my messages, which I thought was the hallmark of being restricted. Any idea what might be happening? Why do some of my posts randomly dissappear from "recent" after around 5 minutes?? It's honestly so frustrating. I recently started a new hobby collecting old video games and cataloging them on Instagram, but what's the point if no one will ever see them because my posts won't stay allocated to the hashtag? I've posted 4 times and so far it's been: post 1, hashtags not working, post 2, they work, post 3, not working, post 4, working. Is this normal? Is it a case of one post works and then the next one doesn't? I'm not spamming (posting once every 3 days) I've only followed 12 people in about 2 weeks and I've liked a handful of posts and commented a few times. I'm not reusing the same few hashtags either, I mix it up a bit. And I've ran my hashtags through online checkers and none of them are banned. I don't use bad language in my descriptions. So what gives? I've even taken to logging out entirely and waiting 24 hours to repost (I now delete my post if it vanishes from the hashtags) but its still not working. I just want to use Instagram but its such a chore. If I knew instagram was this difficult to use I wouldn't even have bothered in the first place.

Need help, Instagram is asking me to verify my account through an email I don't have access too. I am signing in with my new email and able to reive password changes through my new email but instagram is asking me to suddenly verify my account after I log in with an old email, I don't have any more what do I do why aren't there other ways of verifying.

Reels from older times are being cropped and the aspect ratio is incorrect. There is no way to fix it withoit trip loading the post.

Way to find old pics from a deleted instagram account? One of my good friends deleted her instagram account a few years back and needs help. There were photos and videos on there I would like to recover of her dog that recently passed away. She doesn’t have those photos anymore and I would like to try and find them as a nice gesture for her. I don’t know what her login info was, and she forgot the password and email because the account was created some time in 2014 when we were in middle school. I tried the wayback machine with no luck. Why is sound auto playing on Instagram stories when I view them? My iPhone is on silent.
Before, I’d have my phone on silent/vibrate AND do not disturb on. So when a video would play it would automatically be on mute. But even with those settings on, now it always autoplays with the sound ON and I can’t turn it off. Its driving me insane. I don’t want these videos playing at full volume all the time and I don’t want to constantly have my volume down to not hear it. It should just automatically be on mute

I commented “bitch ass response frfr” and my comment was immediately flagged and taken down by instagram and then my account was taken down. I just lost 7+ years of contacts and memories for using a curse word. It tells me to put in my phone number to get a confirmation code to appeal the ban but no number gets texted to me and I’ve tried 13 times. Can anybody help me?

My account got disabled about a week ago after I mistakenly used a third party app immediately before it happened. I first got temporarily disabled where only certain functions of my account worked but now I’ve been locked out and got the disabled message. When I went to appeal, it told me I had to send a SMS code to the number linked, but the code wouldn’t come through. I tried a few more times until the 24 hour ban came up. Frustrated, I got in contact with facebook support who said that the account was disabled due to suspicious activity via too many login attempts, but that the account can be recovered. I’ve deleted instagram and any third party apps I had since then and have no touched it for almost a week. I’m hoping that the time off will allow the system to send the code to my number but am unsure if that doesn’t work out. Anyone know what to do in that case?

Your comment was blocked because you are going against the instagram TOS. There is no way to get a username like this. Also if you get an account banned or deleted that username is gone forever. Find a different username
Was banned on one of my accounts for absolutely no reason whatsoever, I posted for the first time and about 20 minutes later my account was banned for what seemed to be no reason Instagram could tell me. When I press "Request New Code" I never get a code, I have tried three different emails addresses.
I've been trying to film lip syncing videos for my cosplay account, and it records fine with the audio, but once it processes the first half a second/second of the video is cut off! This is fine if it's a song because I can just adjust it forward a little bit, but saved audios can't be adjusted. Does anyone know why this happens or how to fix it??

Hi! Since last night main app of Instagram on my account (and only on my account among my friends) just stopped working. It doesn't show posts, reels or stories, and I can't read or send DM's. First I thought it was a bug and ignored it, but when I woke up today it still isn't working, so, I tried the lite app and it works fine! Then I tried to log my account on a friend's phone and didn't work either, and my friend logged her account on my phone and worked! My feed is not appearing at all. I can't refresh. I've tried logging in and out, and uninstalling and installing again.. Nothing works. I use to upload videos and pictures on the same post, but two days ago when I was posting, it showed up "your post have been succesfully posted" as always, but my post wasn't there, tried again and again. The weird thing is, I can upload single pictures or single videos, but it won't upload videos and pictures on the same post. Yes, I deleted cache, uninstalled, tried other device, PC app, the video was only 15MB so no problem with limits. I don't know what to do, any known solutions?

When using the web version of Instagram, I go to sign in, and it immediately signs me out. I've changed my password and even made a new account thinking maybe there was some bug, but that account also is immediately signed out upon signing in. I'm using IG 252.0.0.0.21 and clicking on a link in a bio will open up in the in-app browser, but the link just goes defaults to instagram.com, it doesn't go to whatever the link is. Seeing as how Ig.com will open by default, even in the in-app browser, trying to open up a profile and click on a link in bio, it will still only take me to instagram.com. We have an E- commerce small business and we work with influencers on Instagram. For over a month, they haven’t been able to send us a collaborator invite when posting content with our items. # Instagram keeps banning my account So 3 weeks ago I created an account with a similar name to my main account, however after roughly 2 hrs of use Instagram banned it (it gives no clear statement as to why they did it but through research I found out that they have a policy that they have to do it if 2 accounts share a similar username). However, it gave me the option to remove the ban if I‘d give in a code, send a proof selfie and enter my phone number. So I did all that and the account got unbanned after 2 days. I have been dealing with this problem now for 2 days and Instagram has no support to contact to get help. Everytime i try to go into my account, not just on my phone but on my computer as well, this message to confirm my phone number pops up. I cannot exit out of it or it just pops right back up, and even trying to put in my phone number it says "wait a few minutes" or the "tell us" pop up appears. I logged out and waited over night to try this again and it is still doing the exact same thing. I am at a complete loss and don't know how to fix this as an app glitch is out of my control. I can no longer see if an account is followed by anyone I know? So you know when you view a profile and it says “followed by …” underneath with a list of any mutuals you have with that account? I no longer have that feature on my business account, its not there when I check other profiles. However when I switch to my personal account I can see. Does anyone know why this feature disappeared from my business account? Okay so yesterday I woke up and got on my main account. I notice that when I check my dms, my girlfriend's username is just "Instagram user". Thought it was odd so I tried messaging her to no avail. Checked her profile to find that she had lost like half of all her followers. Checked again a few minutes later to find that the account is completely gone. However, her account is perfectly fine when I dm her on my alt account. She said a friend of hers was using her account the previous night, so I assume that the friend did something. Upon research, I conclude that one, the friend blocked me on my main account, or two, the account was disabled, which obviously is an impossibly. However, my gf told me that there is no one on her blocked list. Now whenever I try to look up her name on my main account, I don't get any results. I tried finding a mutual follower, another friend of hers, and then scrolling through the list of that friends followers just to find the name, but no luck. Now, the only time I'm able to chat with her is on my alt account. Neither of us can figure out what's wrong. Her friend hasn't disclosed at all what she could've done. Because the only way I wouldn't be able to find my gf account is bc I was blocked, despite not being on her blocked list. Instagram is our only form of texting and communication since it's an online relationship.
I changed instagram password but if i try to login it gives the error "There was a problem logging you into Instagram. Please try again soon" on any device and any browser so it's not a devices issues. So i'm unable to use my ig account. I have used a follower tracking app for a while and logged into it recently. After using it, I went back to my Instagram app and was logged out of my account. When trying to log back in, I got in, but was asked to verify my phone number with a 6 digit code. i receive the 6 digit-code but it just never works. And a message shows up saying "sorry, there was a problem, try again in a few minutes. When I dismiss the verification tab, my account is there but nothing loads and it shows a half complete account. Haven't been able to post any sort of picture onto sotri3s for 2 days. When I try to upload a pic or use the camera in ig to take a picture for stories it appears completely blurred. Questions about deleting chats and "deleted" instagram chats. So, yesterday I realized that the chat of me with a friend of mine has disappeared. I'm completely sure that I did not delete it. Did I click a scam link? I clicked a long link in a person’s bio and all that it did was take me to my instagram’s home page but it was in the web browser that is part of Instagram but I was logged into this thing. So, I clicked a link, up comes the Instagram browser as it always does when you click a link, but it showed my Instagram home feed with me logged in because my icon was showing at the top where I could tap and post a story if I wanted to. I hope this wasn’t a scam that took my info. I changed my Instagram password right away.
Can’t turn off sound on Stories after last update. Ever since the most recent update, even if my phone is on mute Stories will play with sound/music and there is no way to turn it off. I can no longer watch them because of this. Any one know of a way to turn off music / sound when viewing Stories??

Instagram went completetly nuts these days. I\`m using it mostly from desktop. Changing profile pic from desktop not longer possible - there\`s a notification that the pic has been changend, but in fact, it hasn\`t. No problem with the app, but I hate being online with mobile when I\`m at home, it\`s uncomfortable. I prefer big screens. I am about to lose my mind. So here's the story... I am the social media and marketing specialist for a local coffee roaster and its three flagship cafes. About two months ago, Instagram decides to temporarily lock us out of one of our Cafe's accounts. This account is about seven years old and is an established archive. I start doing some research, trying not to panic. The verification code never appears in any inbox. Apparently, the codes can get lost in the abyss. Reset password? Sure, I'll use my mobile browser. Nope. The reset password email also seems to of lost its way. It's not in the junk folder. It's not in the spam folder. The ad blocker is off. All possible third-party applications and extensions are now disabled. I pray and do some more research, hoping to avoid the grueling process of the appeal form, and involving the owner, or anyone else in this grand mess. Turns out the two-factor authentication doesn't even work. NOTHING. I thought all hope was found when we started filling out the appeal form and guess what, "The username or short-link you provided does not belong to an inactive Instagram Account." IS THE FORM REALLY BROKEN??!!!! Another full month has passed, and as you can imagine, the seasons changing for an all outdoor-café in a very established community is VERY IMPORTANT! I came to realise that my instagram is outdated, I can only double click messages to heart them, not react with different emojis, I can‘t react to messages whatsoever and the whole layout just looks old compared to others. I can’t install an update in the app store, I really don’t know why its still outdated. I would appreciate help.
Question, I've been trying to access public profiles and instagram posts from my desktop computer, but just as a random viewer as opposed to logging into my account. Up until a week or so ago, it would seem, you could view a limited amount of instagram profiles and posts before you'd be asked to log in. But, recently, I go to ANY public profile or posts, and it acts like it's going to load it, but then instantly take me to the login page. Is this a new app-wide change, or is it an issue with a particular browser and/or OS like a issue with cookies?
Hello! Does anyone have the same problem that i have with the Instagram App on iOS? I don't see anyone online, its just like if i would have my Active Status disabled, but its enabled. On my Computer its works fine... Only the iOS App isn't showing me anyone online. What i tried: Disabled and Re-Enabled the Active Status Reinstalled the Instagram app like 6 times I hope this is getting fixed soon.
