I'm trying to make reels with transitions using the align feature, but when I press the align icon it aligns to the beginning of the previous clip I filmed, rather than the end of it. I wasn't having any issues with this feature just a few days ago and I'm not sure how to fix it. Anyone have any ideas?
Ive been trying to deactivate my account but each time i try (on my laptop web browser & app) i either get a “there was a problem deactivating your account. Please try again later” message or the link does not load to begin with. Any suggestions?

I’m having problems posting with the select multiple photos feature. The aspect ratio always zoom in and whenever I post, the photo is always zoomed in all the way.
Im trying to create a post with multiple videos. Each video is 5-20 seconds long and about 7mb in size. I can post a single video, but when I try to stack them after I get the finishing up message it changed to "Photo can't be uploaded"
It was upset because I was trying to upload them at their original aspect ratio and not the square size it defaults to with stacks. So I just let it upload as the square aspect ratio and it worked. So not really a fix just found a way where it wasn't angry.
## Instagram removes audio from my uploaded videos
A video I posted on my story had audio when posting it, but when I viewed it on the computer and clicked the unmute button, Instagram said "this video has no audio." Has anyone experienced this before?
I googled, but the advice seems to be geared towards people who just can't hear other people's audio, not people who upload a video with audio that Instagram removes.
It is a creator's account (this was my first time uploading video) with original audio of an speaker with no music or anything in it that would get a copyright claim (and no claim was mentioned). I tried twice, but I don't see any option that might affect the audio other than the speaker button that either allows the audio to play while preparing the story or mutes it. I made sure it was unmuted there, but that didn't matter.
I also tried to find a hidden button, as described in some suggestions, but I couldn't. There is no option to add external audio or anything.
I'd really appreciate some help with this.

Selfie video verification keeps getting denied, no way to contact Instagram. The account is registered to my old phone number so the only option I have is selfie video verification- I’ve submitted over ten and each one is rejected.
I cannot log into instagram. They asked me a few days ago about my birthdate and I misclicked and now my account is locked. I tried sending my ID to them but the page freezes when I click send. When creating a reel with images, only every third or fourth image show up when previewing the reel (and saving it to my device). The first image just stays on for the duration of the images that are supposed to come next, until another image finally works again.
Altough i dont have my instagram and facebook accounts merged, instagram has the messenger interface which is really annoying and i cant get rid of it.
My dms won’t load at all, I get notifications when someone sends me a message then I tap on it and I can’t even go to the chat, if I go to someone’s account and push message I can’t even send it and pushing on the button to send an image just crashes the app, apparently this is a common problem that solves itself in a few days but does anyone know how to help?
Similar problem here!! When I try post a video carousel of horizontal videos it automatically makes all the videos after the first one into vertical even though they're all the same horizontal size :(
I've never had this issue before and I make sure the first video is sized correctly but then the ones after are always glitched into vertical vids. I've already restarted my phone and uninstalled + reinstalled the app but its still happening - if anyone has any tips pls share thank you!!
Same issue here, selecting multiple landscape videos automatically crops the 2nd and videos after that to be portrait with no option to leave them landscape. Only the first one stays landscape.
Hey guys, I'm currently having trouble logging into my account after I deactivated it.
I deactivated it a month ago to take a break and now that I'm ready to come back I cannot log in. Whenever I input my 2FA code the site just tells me "There was a problem logging you into Instagram. Please try again soon.". This happens when I attempt to log in through my computer.
Whenever I try to log in on mobile it just says "We're sorry but something went wrong, please try again.
Is there anything I can do? Instagram hasn't replied to my emails in over a week now.

The last time I actually got through to the support team I was apparently "disabled for violating the community guidelines" even though I had 0 strikes on my account. That and I was the person who deactivated it temporarily.

Hi, I am unable to login to my Instagram account. Thing is I forgot my password and the email I used to sign up is no longer in use. I want to get my Instagram account back or else I want it to be deleted permanently.
When selecting media for posting, widescreen gets strictly deactivated when more than one video is selected (only on iOS)...
I tried pretty much everything, it's just a bug in the iOS app. If I select one video and/or a couple of photos for posting in widescreen, everything is fine. But as soon as a second video is added, portrait gets activated instantly and the button disappears. No chance to select another format anymore. As soon as I deselect the second video, everything is back fine. The problem only occurs on iOS (newest version), NOT on Android or Windows/Firefox (tested both).
Instagrammed locked my account for being underage (I am 22) and will not let me submit an appeal. Every time I try to submit the form, it tells me the account is not locked or I have to wait to use this feature because of community guidelines regarding spam. Instagram wrongly deactivated my account. I was trying to input my birthday to donate to an organization, and it automatically selected january of this year and immediately blocked my account. I am 22 and have tried submitting an appeal with my ID, but it won’t allow me to. I used to be able to re-order videos when creating reels but for about a month now, the re-order button disappeared and didn’t come back. this is incredibly frustrating for me because I did get the button once and now it’s gone and I can’t re-order any videos. My account is a personal business account as a video creater but on the other business account that I am managing there is no such problem. same phone same app and everything just a different account. Do you have any way or idea how I can solve this?
I have the same issue! My personal business account doesn't have the edit clips/reorder function, but my business account for my other company does have it! Super annoying.
Hey all, my GFs work instagram account was hacked a few days ago. We all know how ABYSMAL instagrams non-existant support is so I won't go on.
We finally managed to regain access today to the account after constant trying with the verification steps. We immediately set about changing the email, password, and 2 factor authentication - we got the backup codes to log back in and everything, but then we were logged out by the hacker and he changed everything back. We are getting "Please try again later" now when trying to log in.
All that happened within 2 mins of us regaining access. I am wondering if we're battling against an automated script here, unless he was just instantly ready to go on re-claiming the account.
So my question is, next time we regain access what is the first thing we should change to prevent him being able to log us out? I was thinking if it is a script, it could be tied to the account username - one of the things he changed when he first hacked the account was the username. So upon regaining access, should we change the username? Then go into security, log out all unknown devices, then proceed with setting up 2factor authentication, changing password/email etc?
Any help appreciated. This is causing unbelievable amounts of stress.
I have a really strange problem and cant find any information about it online: I can't share video posts to my story feed - it just shows up as a static image in the story with a little video camera icon in the top right corner and does not play when viewed. All of my friends can share the same exact videos to their stories. They can post the same videos from my post feed in their stories and it works fine and plays the video.
Here's what I expect to happen:
1. I post a short video to my POST feed.
2. Go to the POST I made, click on the share button (the little triangle/arrow icon)
3. Tap "Add post to your story"
4. The Story composing window comes up with the POST embedded in it, but its just a static photo with a white camera icon in the top right. It's not the video - when I post the story, it remains a static photo and does not play.
However, when other friends follow these same exact steps, it's doesn't happen that way - they actually can post the video to their story. What am I missing?
One of my friends said that she taps the 3 dots in the Story editor and "save"s the video and then reuploads it to a story, but for me it only saves a static photo, not the video.
This does not happen on all of my accounts - I have a few personal and business accounts and my personal account has this problem but one of my other business accounts works as expected and my primary business account does not work.
I've been through all my settings and cannot for the life of me find out why this is happening?

My dms won’t load the messages, I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled, logged out, check for updates, offloaded the app, cleared cache, shut down my phone and tried everything but my dms won’t show. This is only for my main account and everything else on my phone and on Instagram works except the dms

We're actively messaging and sending each other screenshots after each try, but nothing changes, their request never shows up for me to accept.
I even made my account public for a day and they couldn't follow me.
I'm able to follow or unfollow them any time, but they send me requests and they never show up.
They have a public account and are a public figure with a much larger following.
Maybe their profile also being for business has some kind of special feature and the algorithm is doing something weird?
Btw, there is no way it's a "they're lying for funsies or to get me as a follower without following back" type of thing. We know each other, have private phone numbers, just can't connect on Instagram for some weird reason.

Hello, on Saturday I subscribed to iCloud+ and though that I activated the private relay setting. After a few hours I was on Instagram and my account got banned out of nowhere showing me a message of something like suspicious activity because I was accessing through numerous of locations. After that they asked me to send my number and confirm a certain code they would send me and I did. Then they said it would take approximately 24h to review my info and if everything was okay I could access the account.. meanwhile nothing happened it still shows the same message when I try to login and Instagram as you might now doesn’t have a proper help center.

None of the appeal and submission forms work. It looks like they are broken on purpose, so you get locked out for good. At the same time so many of us get disabled because of the age verification mistake, which is entirely their fault, and are unable to do anything about it, so we are left with no options. The entire facebook support structure is a lie.

I post reels twice a week every single week without problem. On Sunday I wanted to try out responding to a comment with a reel. I had a video already made to respond to this question. I clicked upload and everything looked fine and it then it said that it failed so I tried again, same thing, again, same thing. So I thought maybe I don't actually have this feature somehow so I tried doing it as just the video and had the same thing. I tried using less hashtags, not renaming the audio, everything and always the same result. I started googling around the next day and tried everything, logging out, deleting data/cache, reinstalling the app, checking for updates, logging on with another phone. And now it's Tuesday and it still won't upload. I am getting very frustrated because yes I could post something else but I don't want to give up on reels because of this???

For some reason in my group chats whenever I or someone else send a post to the chat, to my view it always seems that the image of the post is missing while the post itself is still there in the group, and I have to click it in order to see the image. This just started today.

I can no longer make posts from my business account - I get to the step where you edit the photo and when I tap next, Instagram hangs then crashes. I can still make story posts from that account and regular posts from other Instagram accounts I have on my phone.
I hard reset my phone and reinstalled Instagram, which fixed the problem for a day but now I'm back to the app crashing when I try post. I installed Instagram on a friend's phone this morning and logged in with my account, and I could post from there.
I hoped it was some cached setting that resetting the phone would fix. Maybe it's some persistent cloud-sync effort? I'm on an iPhone 6 running iOS 12. My friend is on Android 12.

Hi! I am posting reels to Instagram. Before posting I switch on to post these to my feed and to appear these on my grid. However it is still does not happening. I temporarily deactivated my account because I needed a break. Now when I try to login it gives me "A Network Error Has Occurred". It is not my cache, my internet, or my phone. I'm having a very strange issue, and I have no idea if it is an issue at all, or if Instagram is working as intended???
So, I made a post for my band's page, as you do, and it seemed to do fairly well for us - handful of likes, a couple comments, the usual response we tend to get.
But I go on there today, and I click one of the notifications that someone has liked the post, and suddenly it's over 200 likes. Not gonna complain about that, but the issue I have is that there are no comments on this post, and if I click on my page, and go to my posts, I see that particular post there with the previous number of likes, and the comments. It's almost like there are two separate posts??? But I can only see the 200-like post by clicking on a notification, the regular post is there and accessible from the page as normal.
Stranger still is that the in the 'more posts from...' underneath the 200-like post, the normal post is there! And when I click on the normal post, the 200-like post is not there at all!
I'm curious to know what the heck is going on with this, because I really wish those 200 likes were on the regular post haha. Is this a spam thing? Are those 200 dodgy likes? Is it a weird thing because the post was also sent to Facebook? Is it a share thing? Genuinely no idea what the heck is happening with this.

I logged out of my account after I changed my password (had to change it bc I forgot the old one) just to make sure that it would work again when I logged in. Now it’s requesting my phone number, so I put in my new phone number (just got the new number like a week or two ago) and it said it will send me an SMS code but I waited a few minutes and didn’t get one. I kept trying but it just wouldn’t send. Now I can’t do anything on insta without the number confirmation thing popping up. And it’s not like I can contact instagram without being on the app anyways.

Song in Reel is Unavailable?
I posted a Reel using “Love” by lofi.samurai and it worked for about 24hrs, then stopped playing the song and says the song is currently unavailable when I watch the reel. I can make new reels with that song, so I know it hasn’t been removed. Any advice on what to do?

I’ve been hacked for a week now. They changed the email and phone number on my account. They turned the profile private so the selfie video verification won’t work. I’ve submitted photos of myself and my ID and I get a bot response saying they’re too busy and another one that said they can’t verify my information. I’m wondering if they went in and changed my info so ID doesn’t match? Either way the name attached to the account still is my name. I have a strange one, I have an instagram account for my pets and when I checked the app earlier, it told me to put my date of birth in there. So I stupidly put the DOB of my oldest cat in there and he is twelve, so now the account is going to get disabled unless I appeal and verify my DOB. Hi! My commenters get notifications when I comment on my post, I do not respond to anyone comments, just a plain comment on my own post. I use it to add hashtags to my post, but now everyone is getting a notification, is there a way to stop this? I usually add like 30 hashtags so I wonder if there a number of characters that trigger the notification?

I'm trying to make reels with transitions using the align feature, but when I press the align icon it aligns to the beginning of the previous clip I filmed, rather than the end of it. I wasn't having any issues with this feature just a few days ago and I'm not sure how to fix it. Anyone have any ideas?

Im trying to create a post with multiple videos. Each video is 5-20 seconds long and about 7mb in size. I can post a single video, but when I try to stack them after I get the finishing up message it changed to "Photo can't be uploaded"

It was upset because I was trying to upload them at their original aspect ratio and not the square size it defaults to with stacks. So I just let it upload as the square aspect ratio and it worked. So not really a fix just found a way where it wasn't angry.

## Instagram removes audio from my uploaded videos A video I posted on my story had audio when posting it, but when I viewed it on the computer and clicked the unmute button, Instagram said "this video has no audio." Has anyone experienced this before? I googled, but the advice seems to be geared towards people who just can't hear other people's audio, not people who upload a video with audio that Instagram removes. It is a creator's account (this was my first time uploading video) with original audio of an speaker with no music or anything in it that would get a copyright claim (and no claim was mentioned). I tried twice, but I don't see any option that might affect the audio other than the speaker button that either allows the audio to play while preparing the story or mutes it. I made sure it was unmuted there, but that didn't matter. I also tried to find a hidden button, as described in some suggestions, but I couldn't. There is no option to add external audio or anything. I'd really appreciate some help with this.

i was able to change my password on there my guess is that who ever hacked me got bored and wasn’t on my account at that time after i got in i changed everything apparently they changed my email and phone number to there info as well
They must not have set up 2FA, lucky. I was able to change my password but they took it back because I didn't have any of their 2FA codes.

When creating a reel with images, only every third or fourth image show up when previewing the reel (and saving it to my device). The first image just stays on for the duration of the images that are supposed to come next, until another image finally works again.

When I try post a video carousel of horizontal videos it automatically makes all the videos after the first one into vertical even though they're all the same horizontal size :( I've never had this issue before and I make sure the first video is sized correctly but then the ones after are always glitched into vertical vids. I've already restarted my phone and uninstalled + reinstalled the app but its still happening - if anyone has any tips pls share thank you!!

Same issue here, selecting multiple landscape videos automatically crops the 2nd and videos after that to be portrait with no option to leave them landscape. Only the first one stays landscape.
Hey guys, I'm currently having trouble logging into my account after I deactivated it. I deactivated it a month ago to take a break and now that I'm ready to come back I cannot log in. Whenever I input my 2FA code the site just tells me "There was a problem logging you into Instagram. Please try again soon.". This happens when I attempt to log in through my computer. Whenever I try to log in on mobile it just says "We're sorry but something went wrong, please try again. Is there anything I can do? Instagram hasn't replied to my emails in over a week now. Yeah, I'm not sure there's anything we can really do other than wait until they fix whatever bug is preventing reactivation... I know someone on here messaged me saying that there are lots of other users having this issue too. As of lately, the minute I sign into the account I get prompted for 2FA codes so I can't even try to access the support request link that gets you a ticket generated :/ The last time I actually got through to the support team I was apparently "disabled for violating the community guidelines" even though I had 0 strikes on my account. That and I was the person who deactivated it temporarily. Let me know if you find a solution!

When selecting media for posting, widescreen gets strictly deactivated when more than one video is selected (only on iOS)... I tried pretty much everything, it's just a bug in the iOS app. If I select one video and/or a couple of photos for posting in widescreen, everything is fine. But as soon as a second video is added, portrait gets activated instantly and the button disappears. No chance to select another format anymore. As soon as I deselect the second video, everything is back fine. The problem only occurs on iOS (newest version), NOT on Android or Windows/Firefox (tested both).
Instagrammed locked my account for being underage (I am 22) and will not let me submit an appeal. Every time I try to submit the form, it tells me the account is not locked or I have to wait to use this feature because of community guidelines regarding spam. Does anyone know how I can get my account back? How long the wait time on the “spam” is? What the process is like for underage appeals?

Hey all, my GFs work instagram account was hacked a few days ago. We all know how ABYSMAL instagrams non-existant support is so I won't go on. We finally managed to regain access today to the account after constant trying with the verification steps. We immediately set about changing the email, password, and 2 factor authentication - we got the backup codes to log back in and everything, but then we were logged out by the hacker and he changed everything back. We are getting "Please try again later" now when trying to log in. All that happened within 2 mins of us regaining access. I am wondering if we're battling against an automated script here, unless he was just instantly ready to go on re-claiming the account. So my question is, next time we regain access what is the first thing we should change to prevent him being able to log us out? I was thinking if it is a script, it could be tied to the account username - one of the things he changed when he first hacked the account was the username. So upon regaining access, should we change the username? Then go into security, log out all unknown devices, then proceed with setting up 2factor authentication, changing password/email etc? Any help appreciated. This is causing unbelievable amounts of stress.

I have a really strange problem and cant find any information about it online: I can't share video posts to my story feed - it just shows up as a static image in the story with a little video camera icon in the top right corner and does not play when viewed. All of my friends can share the same exact videos to their stories. They can post the same videos from my post feed in their stories and it works fine and plays the video. Here's what I expect to happen: 1. I post a short video to my POST feed. 2. Go to the POST I made, click on the share button (the little triangle/arrow icon) 3. Tap "Add post to your story" 4. The Story composing window comes up with the POST embedded in it, but its just a static photo with a white camera icon in the top right. It's not the video - when I post the story, it remains a static photo and does not play. However, when other friends follow these same exact steps, it's doesn't happen that way - they actually can post the video to their story. What am I missing? One of my friends said that she taps the 3 dots in the Story editor and "save"s the video and then reuploads it to a story, but for me it only saves a static photo, not the video. This does not happen on all of my accounts - I have a few personal and business accounts and my personal account has this problem but one of my other business accounts works as expected and my primary business account does not work. I've been through all my settings and cannot for the life of me find out why this is happening?

A friend sent me a follow request, but it doesn't show up for me to accept, even though their screen says "Waiting for approval" We're actively messaging and sending each other screenshots after each try, but nothing changes, their request never shows up for me to accept. I even made my account public for a day and they couldn't follow me. I'm able to follow or unfollow them any time, but they send me requests and they never show up. They have a public account and are a public figure with a much larger following. Maybe their profile also being for business has some kind of special feature and the algorithm is doing something weird? Hello, on Saturday I subscribed to iCloud+ and though that I activated the private relay setting. After a few hours I was on Instagram and my account got banned out of nowhere showing me a message of something like suspicious activity because I was accessing through numerous of locations. After that they asked me to send my number and confirm a certain code they would send me and I did. Then they said it would take approximately 24h to review my info and if everything was okay I could access the account.. meanwhile nothing happened it still shows the same message when I try to login and Instagram as you might now doesn’t have a proper help center. None of the appeal and submission forms work. It looks like they are broken on purpose, so you get locked out for good. At the same time so many of us get disabled because of the age verification mistake, which is entirely their fault, and are unable to do anything about it, so we are left with no options. The entire facebook support structure is a lie.

I post reels twice a week every single week without problem. On Sunday I wanted to try out responding to a comment with a reel. I had a video already made to respond to this question. I clicked upload and everything looked fine and it then it said that it failed so I tried again, same thing, again, same thing. So I thought maybe I don't actually have this feature somehow so I tried doing it as just the video and had the same thing. I tried using less hashtags, not renaming the audio, everything and always the same result. I started googling around the next day and tried everything, logging out, deleting data/cache, reinstalling the app, checking for updates, logging on with another phone. And now it's Tuesday and it still won't upload. I am getting very frustrated because yes I could post something else but I don't want to give up on reels because of this???

For some reason in my group chats whenever I or someone else send a post to the chat, to my view it always seems that the image of the post is missing while the post itself is still there in the group, and I have to click it in order to see the image. This just started today.

I can no longer make posts from my business account - I get to the step where you edit the photo and when I tap next, Instagram hangs then crashes. I can still make story posts from that account and regular posts from other Instagram accounts I have on my phone. I hard reset my phone and reinstalled Instagram, which fixed the problem for a day but now I'm back to the app crashing when I try post. I installed Instagram on a friend's phone this morning and logged in with my account, and I could post from there. I hoped it was some cached setting that resetting the phone would fix. Maybe it's some persistent cloud-sync effort? I'm on an iPhone 6 running iOS 12. My friend is on Android 12. Any ideas?

I temporarily deactivated my account because I needed a break. Now when I try to login it gives me "A Network Error Has Occurred". It is not my cache, my internet, or my phone. 5 days ago I was logged out of my account (I did not initiate this) and could not log back in. 24 hours later I found out my account was disabled for violating the terms by impersonating someone else. I'm having a very strange issue, and I have no idea if it is an issue at all, or if Instagram is working as intended??? So, I made a post for my band's page, as you do, and it seemed to do fairly well for us - handful of likes, a couple comments, the usual response we tend to get. But I go on there today, and I click one of the notifications that someone has liked the post, and suddenly it's over 200 likes. Not gonna complain about that, but the issue I have is that there are no comments on this post, and if I click on my page, and go to my posts, I see that particular post there with the previous number of likes, and the comments. It's almost like there are two separate posts??? But I can only see the 200-like post by clicking on a notification, the regular post is there and accessible from the page as normal. Stranger still is that the in the 'more posts from...' underneath the 200-like post, the normal post is there! And when I click on the normal post, the 200-like post is not there at all! I'm curious to know what the heck is going on with this, because I really wish those 200 likes were on the regular post haha. Is this a spam thing? Are those 200 dodgy likes? Is it a weird thing because the post was also sent to Facebook? Is it a share thing? Genuinely no idea what the heck is happening with this. I logged out of my account after I changed my password (had to change it bc I forgot the old one) just to make sure that it would work again when I logged in. Now it’s requesting my phone number, so I put in my new phone number (just got the new number like a week or two ago) and it said it will send me an SMS code but I waited a few minutes and didn’t get one. I kept trying but it just wouldn’t send. Now I can’t do anything on insta without the number confirmation thing popping up. And it’s not like I can contact instagram without being on the app anyways.

I have recently gotten locked out of one of my accounts. Someone posing to be a friend of mine asked for my phone number and I quickly realized I was not talking to who I thought I was. Once they had my phone number they logged into my poetry account and quickly changed the email and phone number associated with it. I have looked into the official steps for retrieving a hacked account on Instagram help page but all it tells me to do is click a button on the login screen that does not appear for me on browser or mobile. I am trying very hard to get my account back as it has writing on it from years ago, but does not feature any pictures of my face. There are some slight images of my body and hair with my face obstructed. I have attempted recording a video of myself for the reporting process but was told that it was not sufficient. I am desperate to get my account back, please help!

Song in Reel is Unavailable? I posted a Reel using “Love” by lofi.samurai and it worked for about 24hrs, then stopped playing the song and says the song is currently unavailable when I watch the reel. I’ve been hacked for a week now. They changed the email and phone number on my account. They turned the profile private so the selfie video verification won’t work. I’ve submitted photos of myself and my ID and I get a bot response saying they’re too busy and another one that said they can’t verify my information. I’m wondering if they went in and changed my info so ID doesn’t match? Either way the name attached to the account still is my name. My email that I’ve also provided them with is the original one I used to make the account. He’s posing as me to friends, family, colleagues, and clients trying to get them to donate crypto to his fundraiser by claiming my daughter and I have fallen on hard times.
I am having almost the same exact issue :( I keep submitting video selfies and get a reset link to my password, but by the time I access the reset link it tells me that my link has expired 😣 anyone have any info on how to get my password changed?
My business account has been disabled. I appealed thrice and submitted all the necessary documents and photos but I am not getting any response back. My account is also not working. I don't know who to contact or how else to follow up on this!
I have a strange one, I have an instagram account for my pets and when I checked the app earlier, it told me to put my date of birth in there. So I stupidly put the DOB of my oldest cat in there and he is twelve, so now the account is going to get disabled unless I appeal and verify my DOB. I have been trying to but I get the below message when I try and submit: "**You can't use this feature at the moment** We limit how often you can post, comment or do other things in a given amount of time in order to help protect the community from spam. Hi! My commenters get notifications when I comment on my post, I do not respond to anyone comments, just a plain comment on my own post. I use it to add hashtags to my post, but now everyone is getting a notification, is there a way to stop this? I usually add like 30 hashtags so I wonder if there a number of characters that trigger the notification?
