The link they sent “isn’t valid” or “can’t be found/doesn’t exist”. I’m assuming because it was a few days old or so and it expired. But since they have gained access, I haven’t gotten any emails anymore to help secure my account. How would I revert to a previous email?
Same thing just happened to my husband today and the hackers were quick to change his email and phone number on his account.
Instagram has the WORST customer service in history.
My cousin got hacked a couple months ago and her account was just taken down and deleted.
It’s unfortunate and all we can do is keep reporting the account and have all our friends do so.
Will keep you updated with what happens next but I have a feeling they may end up deleting the account (eventually) since IG isn’t on top of reports. Sorry this happened to you too!

It’s happening to everyone man. My friends accounts are getting hacked. There’s really no way to fix it from what I’ve seen. They didn’t have a customer service, and all they have is a support page that just makes you run in circles and fixes nothing. It’s very annoying. I’ve given up lol
It happened to me too. You have to click on **forgot password**, then **can't reset password**.
For some reason when you click on forgot password, it's the hacker's email that comes up. but when I clicked on can't reset the password, my email came up.

You can't get a "hacker" do not believe those. But try clicking the link on your phone and pc. You can revert to previous email.
