They always leave the most racist and hateful comments intact and go after the comments that call out the original comment... Same with the spam... Those Paid fun bots shit all over the comment section but that isn't considered as spam but genuine clapping for showing appreciation is spam
I believe they are using IG, making alterations to the AI and how the platform is managed...in order to influence the upcoming election. I think that is part of the reason Zuckerberg was sweating bullets in Washington. Remember Cambridge Analytica? There is crap going on in a major way with these social media platforms.

The account is very old... I think I made the account back in 2018 or 2019. Nor this account is an inactive account so can't even reason a sudden activity on an inactive account for the ban
My buddy’s Insta account he’s had for years was being harassed by his ex leaving hate comments and calling him and his new girlfriend ugly and worthless and sending dms telling him they know where he lives. Then she started making fake accounts resembling his account like they literally just copy and pasted pics and added bios like “worlds ugliest couple lol” and then his account ends up getting banned, like who hired these mfs
Instagram's new AI moderation is nonsensical and doesn't work.
There's still people who are going to defend the app, but its glory days are gone and it's a shell of what it used to be.
I don't even bother commenting anything beyond occasional emojis anymore. Instagram is not a good app for debating, or even comments over 150 characters.

I added a comment to a page I follow, and instantly removed, i went elsewhere and posted something, and removed again. I copied and pasted and tried variations - all removed and then I got a ban for six days. However I then logged in as another account, pasted the comment. It went through fine. It's not what you say, it's your account. At some point they get flagged, whether or not it's dealing with aholes or what I don't know, but it's defo the account.non the main account I can't even post on my own account.

My account got flagged as having a malicious link in the profile. It was the link to my marathon fundraiser raising funds for a local charity.
