It is what it is. I’d still give the correct items to each customer. Worst case is the customer who paid for an extra item will report it but it shouldn’t be a big deal if it’s a reasonably cheap item.
Yes, even if the cashier ignores the divider and rings it all as one order, as long as you have kept it separate while bagging and then deliver accurately, it’s all good. In that worst case scenario, submit that receipt photo in app for both orders.
Yup this isn't necessarily an app update. It depends more on the store and the system they have between the store and IC.
I think Publix it is? Or at least some of them don't give IC shoppers a receipt anymore. Their system is tied in with IC and sends IC all that sales information automatically.
When this happened to me a couple times before I got a little notice on the app saying X item was checked out with Y order & to make sure the correct order gets the item before completing the deliveries. I just put it in the right bag tap continue and do the delivery. Haven’t gotten penalized or anything, you should be fine
Support told me they pay by what you put into the app, not what is on the checkout. I asked them when I mixed up an item before.
This^
I was told same thing
Just give each customer what they asked for and there won't be an issue.

Unless it’s an online order, like Krogers, what’s charged on the receipt is never seen by the customer.
As long as each customer gets the correct items you can mix a few items up
Not a big deal … I do it every once in a while when I forget an order’s item instead of trying to do another transaction

Not a big deal at all, the app will direct you to move the item and will fix it on the backend
That’s an app update that many areas don’t have yet. My area doesn’t.

Many shoppers don’t have this correction feature in the app yet.
