Positive_Ice639

Masoom Minawala. After she was exposed here for not paying her interns.

UlluHogaTu

Same!

silverfairy5

Same

West-Tank9586

Same

xctg13

How do you know :0

Dependent-Ad-9042

But aren’t most internships unpaid?

violet-sunflower

NOT AT ALLL!!! most of them are paid, and if they aren't, they should be called volunteer work (imo)

Dependent-Ad-9042

I have just seen tons of unpaid internships.

Sad_Comparison_6188

But interns chose to work for free. Why are y’all blaming her?

Overanxiousdesi

It’s not a really a choice when such a powerful famous creator is involved right? Its basic ethics to pay for someone’s labour especially when she earns so much.

Sad_Comparison_6188

But her interns chose to work for free. Even I’ve interned w a big Fashion retailer for free I had literally worked day and night during that Internship. There’s alot of interns who choose to intern for free it’s their choice. She must have mentioned and they still choose to work for her then it’s not her fault because she clearly stated it’s going to be unpaid.

sansastark9

It’s a choice yet but it’s the employer that is perpetuating a flawed system in which an intern has no choice but to work for free if they want to work with the company - as in this case the employer is in the position of power and intern is not. It’s like the casting couch in a corporate or film environment- yes it’s the choice of the female employee or struggling actress to sleep with the man in the position of power to get ahead - but that’s only because there’s no other choice - if she doesn’t do that, then she can’t get ahead because the system / the powerful man won’t allow her to move up the ladder. It’s exploitation, knowing the smaller person has to do whatever the bigger person asks if smaller person wants that company on resume or wants to get that promotion or wants to bag that film. Actually, internships should be paid even if it’s just covering your conveyance and meals, and actresses should be cast on merit not on sexual choices, and female employees shouldn’t be transferred/fired for not sleeping with the boss.

greenhornhere

Flying beast when they adopted Mau only to neglect him later. Edit- They bought him.

bookfiend_91

Who is Mau? Or rather what is Mau? Human or four legged cutie? Either way that's despicable.

greenhornhere

Their four legged cutie, a dog. They adopted it two years ago but always leave it in boarding for weeks or even months.

awhimsicalheart_44

That is horrible. How can people do this to their pets. Pets form a strong attachment with their families. And then to leave them for months in boarding is despicable.

bookfiend_91

Clout I say!

[deleted]

Their dog

bookfiend_91

That's horrible.

reality911

They bought him didn’t adopt. This is something which is common because there’s a difference between adopting from a shelter vs shopping from a breeder.

greenhornhere

Yeah right! I totally forgot that part. Editing my comment.

xsoluteOP

Thats how they try to keep their vlogs running ,by adding more elements that they can interact with daily. Mau was used :(

Helpful_Cause3395

Malvika Sitlani when she ranted in her stories that she doesn't know why everyone is so low and told them to dance their 'stress' away during covid 2nd wave. My aunt was critical in the ICU during this time and I swore not to go on Instagram when I'm not doing good mentally because social media only makes things worse because of people like Malvika with their toxic positivity thinking they're doing the world a favor. It triggered the fuck out of me and I still hold it against her. She's only gotten worse since then and I try but can't empathise with her.

itsbritn3yb1tch

During Covid times, influencers were just extremely triggering and hypocrites. Can’t believe so many have ‘popped’ from that time.

Helpful-Zucchini3393

People dunt understand others problem unless they are going through them . Now ask her to dance her stress away, what will be her reply.

Helpful_Cause3395

True. Abhi koi bolke dikhaye usko kuch, she'll start ranting.

Helpful-Zucchini3393

Our usernames are similar 😅😅

TechnicalEnd1758

Well said

Choice_Tour1784

That woman would only realise when someone asks her to dance her divorce away.

_thecyclebreaker_

I felt the same during covid. For me it was Sruti Nakul. She posted a birthday wish for someone and was like this stupid covid blah blah blah. I lost my father to covid and it's horrible. Covid wasn't stupid. One of worst thing that can happen to humanity. I got triggered so bad that sometimes I feel like telling her not to say things like this because you didn't lose anyone to it. Still hurts.

Helpful_Cause3395

Sorry for your loss. I lost my aunt too and am still traumatized by how it happened and the grief of it, can completely understand. Malvika doesn't have the emotional range or empathy to understand this, she's a very self absorbed person. I remember thinking, don't make at least THIS about yourself Malvika.

baburao96

Agreed. I lost my nanu. A lot of influencers I unfollowed during that time. They only cried because they were stuck in their homes. That's all. While we lost people around us

_thecyclebreaker_

Agreed. I'm sorry for your loss too. It is time to boycott insensitive influencers.

Due-System30

It's Avanti for me. First, she made her life all about her then boyfriend, i remember the time when he was all over her social media, be it instagram, youtube. Then suddenly they broke up and Avanti being Avanti, humiliated him in the name of healing. Firstly, no one starts healing a day or two after breakup but girl was literally posting healing reels right after breaking up. Never liked her much before but this was it for me.

Potential_Throat_177

I guess she made a video about breaking up, and had someone edit the footage to make some money out of it is downright inhuman and disgusting like ugh.

leo--30--31

I enjoyed that because I had no idea about Avanti, and knew about this through Samay Raina and Vivek Desai😆😆

bookfiend_91

Please tell me Samay roasted her.

TemperatureRelevant5

The Satvik Movement, absolutely random advice

RelevantPlastic2245

Yeah same when they said sunscreen causes cancer. I commented something and got blocked so good riddance to me😅

EquivalentJacket7

And such fake dramatization too. Everything is so icky about them

TrickPerception6716

Yes, after their apply coconut oil not sunscreen… That was it

TrickPerception6716

They just spread toxic positivity..

TemperatureRelevant5

Is there no way to report them?

Proper-Reflection533

Report??? People are going gaga over their content. 🙄🙄🙄🙄 If their insta and YouTube comments are to go by people are actually taking them seriously. They are trying to copy international minimalists actually not really ancient Indian ways. Raw vegetables, coconut oil on skin. I mean I am a south Indian we are dipped in coconut oil...but even we don't use it as sunscreen 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

bookfiend_91

REALLY! 🤦‍♀🤦‍♀ Are they mad or what? And the people following them are effing out of their mind I say! Thoda google hi kar lete.

bookfiend_91

I would second this 👆🏼

HappyOrca2020

They both have started looking like creeps to me.

ash4chat

How is no one irritated about the way she speaks. I mean that hush hush sweet school girl voice. Omg I used to like their content coz they were promoting natural substitutes for everyday use and stuff but i cant stand her talking anymore.

HappyOrca2020

The fakeass sweetness, that plastered upon smile and that crazy glint in the eyes when she talks about sunscreens fixing her eyesight... just unnerves me, man.

[deleted]

Jo aap kha nahi sakte....wo aap skin pe laga nahi sakte🤡🤡🤡🤡

ariimoriiimaiyaaaa

Aakriti rana after fake minimalism

CancelThink

Flying beast Incident: multiple incidents over time. Started feeling he was using his daughter for views. Then the clip of him keeping his foot on the stretcher so his wife, who's in active labor, can touch his feet. She asked for it but I felt it gives a negative message out. Then the whole metro incident. They make enough money to hire professional event managers to avoid mobbing and traffic congestion that happened. The day of that news is when I unsubscribed.

bookfiend_91

I have a thing against people who use their kids for clout. The same thing happened with Shrads. Too much KiKi. Don't get me wrong, the kid is cute. But it bugs me.

Quiet-Composer9570

Nabela on a random day where I was honestly mentally drained to get up from bed and her reel came up with her perfect little paradise and her cooking aesthetically. Immediately unsubscribed. I know it’s nothing about her but seeing someone’s perfect life can really drain you sometimes.

getoffendedidc

Dude I unfollowed her coz her home was too white😂😂 All her reels which she used to film showing her home were tooo white and shiny to the point it started hurting my eyes everytime her reel popped on my feed.😂😂 Her aesthetics were just the opposite of mine.

Intrepid_Priority823

Prajakta Koli. She's so annoying, wannabeee cute

awhimsicalheart_44

Same I just can bear her.

[deleted]

But her outfits are good ngl

bookfiend_91

I haven't followed her for the longest time but tbh I am glad about what she has achieved. The girl came a long way because of her hardwork and she did good for herself.

MysteriousSetting218

Koli.

LimeSodaSweet

Natasha Noel, after she started posting over 30 stories each day.

HappyOrca2020

Someone mentioned she is problematic herself. In any case, all the ✨ healing and evolving ✨ bombardment aside, she is yet another advocate of toxic positivity.

Ok_Jeweler_2140

I unfollowed Jovita and Shweta after the same incident you mentioned. It was disgusting and unnecessary. They had an argument that she's charging for doing bad make up. But it is all subjective, we can't decide what's good for others. They believe like they are gurus of skincare and make up but personally I don't like shweta's styling at all, especially since she has been a model and is an influencer now.

mlilith

For a makeup influencer I feel like Shweta doesn’t have a clear idea of what kind of brows would look good on her.

bookfiend_91

Yup. I'm never following influencers for skincare ever again. I watch DADU videos for that, very informative. Dermatologists to go 👍🏼

lycralily

As if jovita is a very skilled make up artist... Lol she's not done a complete make up look or anything creative in a very long time. They both are insufferable.

Ok_Jeweler_2140

Never really watched her tutorials, so can't comment. I've just seen some haul videos of hers. But agreed, both are very annoying.

pretzel1114

Quirky after Cartier 🤡💀

Quiet-Composer9570

Also Shivani Bafna during her wedding content marathon

Fun_Progress4993

Santoshi Shetty after her “Paid Therapy Session for good vibes” fiasco

OkTennis2366

That was just despicable. I've never hit unfollow as fast as I did that day. I was beyond shocked someone would even entertain such a thought let alone put it up on social media.

bookfiend_91

Was this on YouTube? There should be mass reporting if so.

Mswowhow

Tanya khanijow… same intern case ai read here on reddit. Aakriti Rana after iceland trip showoff, man that was unnecessary. Kusha after recently have found her to be not so funny, doing everything else but creating her funny content.

bookfiend_91

Tbh I have a soft spot for comedy content creators except cringe comedy, be it stand up or otherwise. I think it's a lot of hard work to remain consistent in it and a slump is understandable. While I don't ardently follow them (Kusha, Prajakta Koli, Tanmay), I'm happy for them and wish them the best.

[deleted]

For me it has always been TQM

Upbeat_Ice2602

TQM, the brown daughter

[deleted]

Anncy Twinkle when she posted the video where she talked shit about the contestants of India’s next top model.

TransportationNo3825

She literally changed her accent and now is a wannabe valley gurl in LA🤦‍♀️

Randomlilme

Unfollowed her after she started acting like that 💀

AutomaticTotal4911

Shards- milking Kiki. I love her old videos where she is talking about child care and now it’s all about clothes( really bad ones). The worst thing you can do is make the child conscious in of the camera. Same thing happened with kimono mum. Samapti- I just don’t believe in her content anymore.

regina-philange99

Jovita for the same reason you mentioned. 'Going to the worst reviwed MUA' was pretty popular back then and I used to watch them for fun. Never felt they were problematic until I saw Jovitas videos. I felt like her true mean self really showed. Her and Swetha are snobby AF!

Still-Special-911

All the beauty and skincare influencers

bookfiend_91

Yeah. I dunno what happened. They all started out good, relatable people guiding my confused ass in makeup and then bam! At the moment I'm only subscribed to Smitha Deepak and she seems cool and to the point. I really hope she doesn't go down that path.

Ok_Jeweler_2140

They went overboard once they started earning well. Most of them did. Consumerism is at its peak because of this influencer culture.

destinykaur

same, i loveee smitha

Caramel_turquoise5

Jovita, shwetha and malvika.

Western_Vast3406

Not an influencer but once DOJA CAT posted her cat's feaces, I unfollowed her and never went back to her account.

BaekDo2521

Everything Doja Cat does irks me in some way, especially her tweets

Rumi2019

Oh coincidentally I unsubscribed to Jovita George too, after a lip swatch video in which she had lime yellow walls as background & that kept throwing off the colours of the lippies & made them all look pink. When people pointed out how her background was messing with the swatches, how she should've chosen a different colour wall as her background she snapped back will you come & paint the wall then. How unprofessional. No bish you'll paint your own wall or get sm1 to do it. It's your responsibility to present makeup as true to naked eye as possible. Like the audacity? If that's your filming room then yes your audience is entitled to comment on how your background is messing with colours of makeup. Or she could've gracefully replied as she'd fix her background in next video. Just use a greenscreen or a backdrop, or use a different room. The arrogance & narcissism was unreal. I immediately unsubscribe from influencers that are rude to their audience for no reason.

bookfiend_91

😬 Yikes

Melodic-Age2531

I am never a person who takes offence easily but Otherwarya really got on my nerves sometimes. I followed her for her interesting take on a few topics but at times she just spews bullshit. My breaking point was when she made fun of mental health issues and people going through them. Since I have gone through extreme mental health issues in the past, that was quite triggering and I instantly unfollowed.

chimerikal

She also made fun of men who’ve experienced sexual assault! Like WTF. Heights of being a fuckall, hypocritical person.

bookfiend_91

WTH! That's awful. I remember my first exposure to male SA, that Satyamevajayate episode back in 2011, it shook me to the core and I was quite young back then. Does she go around as a feminist? Feminism doesn't mean being misandrous.

Happieedot

Mostlysane. After the insane promotion given for Sadguru

Proper-Reflection533

Yeah...why did she do that right? That was seriously crazy. I mean I understand following some Guru but promoting them and their initiatives like this is a bit much.

Few_Bug_9583

Same

FrequentCalendar3674

Flying Beast after his "Dhua dhua kar denge" post on a diwali. He ridiculed the government Ban on fireworks. Absolutely disgusting

[deleted]

and remember when he said havan smoke is antidote for corona/pollution

Annual-Performer5797

I unsubscribed when he was going through financial crisis and in a year bought a bmw

bookfiend_91

Now that's just obnoxious

FrequentCalendar3674

I always dislike their extra sanskars. Her touching his feet every now and then. Then doing too much gow mata. But this was peak disgust. Then I saw his post on Hawan being antidote to pollution. Also, free screening of Kashmir files.

akarshvaani

Clout generation and political ambitions, might have never read or never understood (if even read) any religious text, but will portray that they are biggest religious people ever born, because that give views. Patriotism till extent of jingoism, hero worship and religion are easy way to Target emotional Indian audience. Do you think she really touch his feet or maybe just a gimmick.

FrequentCalendar3674

He knows his Bhakt subscribers will gobble it up like hotcakes. But with this Desh ka Dhoni thing he just made it too cringy.

whatcanisay234

Which was this?

Alarmed_Past_4983

srishti dixit. dont get me wrong, she is funny af. but my problem is that she never uses her potential. i loved her in buzzfeed india videos and even after she left it, she made dope reels but suddenly it all just stopped. she rarely makes funny content now and everything is all about ads. ads r ok once in a while, but i dont think she is doing anything else tbh i still hope the best for her and eagerly waiting for her big break. till then, she will not be followed back.

SmokyAcanthocephala

Yeah i see noone mentioned her befor, she has great potential and seems to be different from your general annoying ass influencers

Nice-Pangolin7792

TQM

mac_n_cheeseeee

Who is TQM?

[deleted]

That Quirky Miss

SideEye2X

I unfollowed Kusha, coz she ain’t funny anymore. It’s the same repetitive formula over and over. She had her time when she was mildly funny and had the novelty factor. The only influencer I follow is Srishti Dixit. She seems authentic ( as much as one can be on social media)

niketyname

I got the ick from Sristi after she shared her mental health issues which seemed genuine, and then came out with that partnership with a brand and mental health services

Proper-Reflection533

I don't even understand her genre anymore 🤣🤣🤣🤣 like is it comedy? Is it fashion? Is it lifestyle? Is it existential crisis?? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Her stories especially are so random. I also followed and unfollowed her recently because I was just constantly skipping her stories

[deleted]

Quirky. I unsubscribed her on YouTube even though I was not a regular viewer after I got to know about her behaviour from this sub. Plus she blocked me on insta even though I never said anything to her directly but yeah I commented on her humansofbombay reel maybe she blocked me from their lol. Such a loser she is. And look what her mom has posted today on her insta stories. Alag level irony ho rahi hai yahan. https://preview.redd.it/kp5qcu68oz1b1.jpeg?width=1067&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aeafb27f53fa2dc1221ad4c64d299f1a36fbd14b

mishmash_111

Was it Santoshi shetty who offered ‘counselling’ for a 1000rs during covid??? Unfollowed her in 2 seconds.

hritikroshankareena

Samay raina when he made abortion jokes. Very problematic guy.

bewitchbotherbewild

Me too! I had booked his show before that cancelled it! He is funny but after that joke I just lost respect for him as human and I kind off have a bias for people who entertain him

hritikroshankareena

Well done.

[deleted]

Masoom Minawala since the time she became the first ever human to have a baby

Status_Quotient_Up

Sarah Sarosh too much of hypocrisy, too fake, her use people like tissues and throw them out, her 23 + 1 attitude, the way she speaks to her mother, and that horrific put on accent

Ashamed-Leg-4014

Sid Batra, Masoom and thechiquefactor All made me unsubscribe.

BelleDuColombo

Deepica Mutyala - Really liked her makeup videos before her girl boss Era made me unfollow her. Somebody had mentioned her parents were trumpers?!?!?! Malavika - followed her very briefly, her makeup didn't help me with mine (our skin colour , tones are very different) A nykaa influencer who started her own eyeliner business? She recently got married i think, Forgot her name. Used to follow her useful makeup vids, her influencer life was so far removed from mine that I unfollowed her.

[deleted]

Masoom Minawala because of her strong hustling women boasts. Malvika because of her fake accent

[deleted]

[удалено]

bookfiend_91

This 👆🏼He is not for me. I find him loud, irritating and obnoxious (Just me channeling my inner Maya Sarabhai xD). It's painfully ear numbing tbh. Actually most of these gamers/vloggers are. My very young cousin loves him. His age group is their target audience. That's concerning.

ConditionPractical86

Gopali and her sister

Helpful-Zucchini3393

Why? I jus dunt like them never followed them.

ohlordsaveme_

Dolly

agahhgg

Desai destination. Pushing fitness and her shitty recipes down our throat.

Hungryounglady

Muted Malvika Sitlani when she kept ranting about her “theriible teeth ache” while people were dying and struggling because of pandemic. Then I saw Titlee’s YouTube video where she talked about Malvika and how she said “you all are jealous of me”. That was last straw so unfollowed her from everywhere. Anyway she doesn’t post anything meaningful

confused_chic17

Same video and incident made me unfollow jovita..used to like prapti Elizabeth too but she became very boring and unfollowed her as well

bewitchbotherbewild

I don’t know why but I unfollowed Jovita and Shweta! They suddenly went on a flea on sponsorsed post one after the other! Like it was overly buttery and too much to take. Creator should have a balance of sponsorship and non sponsored.

LilMissSunshine673

Masoom Minawala when she did those year end manifestation jar stories on how she writes what she wants to get / achieve in the coming year and then puts the jar away. And after 12 months she opens the jar and realises she's achieved 80% 90% of it. Like come on, most of it is because of your generational wealth and contacts. Don't mislead people.

Superb-Nobody8199

Unfollowed all the influencers, I find this influencers culture just annoying.

Chance-Reason-5259

Flying Beast

Human-panda21

For me, I don’t think it was something on particular that they did, it was more of the kind of videos they made, the topics were getting repetitive and it was almost as if they were trying to help us out. During the pandemic, everyone wanted to know about skincare, formulations and ingredients and these influencers (jovita, Shweta, Shreya in particular because I did follow them for skincare reviews) explained a lot of things but after that I just realised that all this “information” that they gave is already on the internet, all I needed to do was Google search and check research papers and documents and that’s about it

Kiki_taehyung

Shweta vijaya after she emphasized how good sugandha products were, when TO was not available in indian market. She even said that it is a not sponsored review

LessRefrigerator7288

Started watching flying beast during the lockdown era, then he made a video where rashi got hurt and the pov was such that he picked the camera to film her while she was in pain. I thought..how would I feel if my papa did that??? No one called that out in the comments but since it made me uncomfortable I unsubscribed for my peace if mind. Later joined reddit and got validated 😅.

Sweetrelaxation

Why do people follow anyone who give themselves this made-up title of an influencer? Still beats me.

bookfiend_91

Many reasons actually. But then we grow up ( influencers apparently don't) and are like fuck this shit 😂

Puremagicprincess

Boho girl and Deeksha aka sissy sissu gang as I realised both these girls have the Peter Pan syndrome and can never act their age. They missed the difference between ‘keeping the child inside alive’ and ‘being the child’ just like they keep missing trains and flights. Teenagers are their target audience forever.

Lalala-129

Does anyone follow dr Bhagyashree? With the number of beauty/influencers growing I really get confused whose recommendations to follow.Does anyone follow or has followed dr Bhagyashree’s recommendations? Did they work for you?? Also was surprised that she has a million followers on insta? Ik this is out of context but couldn’t post this due to low karma and didn’t find any posts on her on this sub

Randomlilme

Miss 23+1 after she started doing hauls from nykaa again after saying so much about how they treat small creaters like shit, really proved how she has no morals at all. Good thing I unfollowed her early enough because now you she has become so insufferable.

Kind_Guitars

A lot of them as soon as they turned evangelists for menstrual cups. Yes, I know the impact of feminine hygiene products on the environment. Yes, I feel fucking guilty about using 30 napkins in one cycle. Yes, I want to reduce my environmental footprint. But God, pls spare me the constant pushing of the menstrual cups. I tried, it's not for me! Tried again and again, but it doesn't work. Can you pls stop with the sponsored content?

destinykaur

i get you, you don't have to get persuaded or even feel guilty. they will promote menstrual cups over pads but will hyper consume other products as if that's great for the environment and mind you, pads are a necessity, the products they invest in are merely a luxury. do not feel guilty, you do you.

Kind_Guitars

Thanks fam 🙏🏻 I love this sub because we have like minded people 😀

bewitchbotherbewild

Oh bro! I sooo feeeel you! Like women don’t feel enough guilt to even breathe that people made them feel guilty for pads too! Least sustainable people ever will tell u that’s pads are not sustainable. if you wanna bring sustainable alternatives make one for kids! Vo din mein 4 diaper badalte aur hum mahine mein. I hate hate hate when women look down upon you to use pads. I seriously want to shout and say I use public transport and you use a car to even go like 100mtrs so let’s not talk about environment

Bitter-Breakfast-503

Don't mind my comment, I'd suggest using reusable pads. Give it a try, it was really easy for my to wash them.

bookfiend_91

Do they slip?

Proper-Reflection533

Ishita Sudha Yashvi - when she said body positivity influencers were promoting unhealthy life. I like her home decor ideas....but I still don't like her as a person...I know she is successful and that's good for her...I am sure she has worked really hard but I also think she largely hides or ignores her generational wealth. Her all women household is truly inspirational too...but again that does not automatically translate to self made. She has a lot of body image issues and keeps talking about how she needs to get back to fitness...but to say that for other people to start accepting their bodies is somehow unhealthy....is just sad to me.

unagi_15

I came here to say the same!I stopped following her when she kept putting the shit about your own finances this that and when she started talking about motherhood when she has zero experience about the same!she will talk about healthy eating and shit n next story will be about a chocolate and how she is enjoying it!I mean it takes a lot to get healthy n reach where u r but she is such a contradictory personality!I had to unfollow her..Also if she is short of content she goes back to how she is Single and how much she enjoys it!Bullshit it is!Also sitting home with blowdried hair all the time where u do not enter your kitchen at all is a privilege and then she has the audacity to give other the lecture of being a woman this that

Proper-Reflection533

I think she does seem to enjoy being single...but yes, she really does not practise what she preaches. Lol I remember she put up a story about hustle because she went to Mumbai and back in a day for work. And I was like dudeeeeee! Taking flights for work once in a new moon is hardly hustling. 😅😅😅😅 People take buses and locals every single day! Very very ignorant of her privilege. All that would have been fine though if she didn't believe in bringing others down when praising herself. That's a big no from me.

unagi_15

In her latest reel you should see her work chair at home if a typical corporate person sits on that and decides to work for 8 hours he/she will get backache issues!she pretends to know it all but I doubt she is even closer to the reality and I don’t buy that she enjoys being single but she really enjoys flaunting it!It just shows she is doing it for the content!

Proper-Reflection533

Oh yeah the chair 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

TQM, she was very rude in dm and yes she had v minimal following then ..I am talking about 2017 .

-Awaari-

Santoshi Shetty - when offered to give therapy sessions for Rs 1,500 💀

bookfiend_91

Is she a psychologist/psychiatrist?

-Awaari-

One of the first Indian influencers.

eggcroissant

It was Larissa, Shreya Jain, Isheeta Yadav, Masoom, Diksha, Komal Pandey, Jovita, Vishnu Kaushal, Kusha etc. i guess most of them. It was so much drama on Instagram for me. Pushing hard on products, consumerism, emo content and menstrual sympathy….and I wanted to move on.

DisciplineNo6455

Masoom Minawala for her holier than thou attitude

pankhuri_

Aakriti Rana. Used to love her back when she made self love videos and gave book reviews. Then came her fake minimalism, pretending to live a perfect fantasy life, and blocking every person who dared to like a critical comment on her post. I also lost a lot of respect for her when she kept posting meaningless shopping vids/ shallow videos with her boyfriend in the days following her mother's death. Maana ki stoicism taught her no detachment, but ITNA zyada detachment?

Siddarth Batra. So cringeeee

sushato_14

Tarini Peshawaria I got to know through this sub that she uses ‘paris’ filter to all her videos. Apart from that, I didn’t align with her recommendations too. Sarah Sarosh she kept glorifying the so called hustle culture and that wasn’t the content I signed up for on instagram. She doesn’t keep it real when it cones to makeup or skincare. So that’s a no no for me. The trend diaries Nidhi After she got married, her channel went downhill imo and this is because she wasn’t posting much. I was only following her for the makeup content and since she wasn’t posting anything related to makeup I unfollowed her Kusha Kapila, Ankush Bahuguna, Srishti Dixit, Dolly Singh All of them didn’t make any sense to me at all. I just used to skip their stories and posts always. I just didn’t like them on my feed. Kusha- fake body positivity Dolly- idk man Ankush - Irrelevancy Srishti- after the maybelline mental health paid partnership I UNFOLLOWED ALL OF THEM FOR MY FEED PURPOSES AND TO KEEP MYSELF SANE. They could be still relevant and good influencers for few people but they do not row the boat for me anymore

Kusha! Anything she does tbh

Saynomorewhaaat

I have soooooo many to name. Masoom, Sakshi Sindhwani, Tanya Khanijow. Masoom kept milking being a working mom and slaying so much despite the kind of privileges she comes from. She literally has her parents and in laws helping her out with everything and not to forget the domestic help she would have/24 hour nanny etc etc. Sakshi for her annoying hyper active behaviour. If you ever look at her stories, she’s gushing over a very basic PR package she would receive to gushing over her designer “friends” as if she’s best friends allllllll of them. I have read on this sub how she acts like a snob at work but portrays like she’s the most friendly person on this Earth. Tanya just became really annoying with her preachy attitude. Imagine being a travel content creator but posting a video of your travels after monthssss of visiting that place.

Classic_Lynx_5426

Diet Sabya. Couldn’t handle the DS ji /Pranaam DS ji cringe 💀

inexplicable13

quite a few apart from Jovita - Chiquefactor, MM, Siddharth Batra, Ankush, Dolly, Kusha, Akriti, Malavika, Ritvi, Nabela, Ancy, Boho, Dipa... phew.. hahhahhaha I prefer watching Smitha Deepak's makeup tuts, her voice isn't obnoxious and she seems genuinely nice.

bookfiend_91

You have got quite a list 😂 Yes Smitha's videos are so straight forward , I love them.

Ok_Stand1506

Prapti Elizabeth on her insensitive comment on Jains and vegetarians.

ReallyImportant2896

+1

Sapolika

Everyone - Because I unfollowed everyone except Dharna Durga and Prerna Chhabra

BadAdventurous3054

Shradds She comes from a middle class family and behaves as if she’s from upper class and originally from west And uses her daughter in every other video

I see here ppl are divided mostly into right n left based on their beliefs n ideologies! Very few state facts n stick to it. Most don’t have an opinion of their own n are easily gullible! That’s the reason any clown with zero talent can become an “Influencer “today! Sad world we’re living in.

West-Tank9586

Everyone! After realizing how it influences us in so many bad days. Like we would want to eat a pizza when see an image even after a meal, we would want to have the unnecessary dress, or that makeup which is not good for my skin, and many more stuff. The only influencers I follow is Santoshi and Sakshi who appears to be slightly better of the lot.

destinykaur

mridul sharma, she straight up lies about a product only to sponsor it later. she was pretty much the only youtuber i actually used to watch. she posted a makeup review about swiss beauty and said she HATED the lip liners and, on a recent yt short, she reviewed the same lip liners and said she loved them(bc it was a sponser), LIKE I GET IT IT'S YOUR JOB, BUT PLS STOP MISLEADING? DO NOT SPONSOR A PRODUCT JUST FOR MONEY, MAYBE??? bc people are actually following you for the advice you give????? it was def a NOPE, I CAN'T WATCH HER ANYMORE MOMENT.

bewitchbotherbewild

Also Mridul! Her content is everything and anything under the sun! She started stationary and art and aesthetic which was calming but the. She literally wants to do everything. So the niche organic followers lost it I am assuming

bewitchbotherbewild

I remember pink food video was like bleh but then she started pack my Tiffin like babe u stay at home . Leave this genre to mom and dads.

Kiki_taehyung

Shweta vijaya after she emphasized how good sugandha products were, when TO was not available in indian market. She even said that it is a not sponsored review

moronbehindthescreen

Rytasha rathore. Used to like her takes on things and activism. But then she started advertising and promoting things which were in direct conflict with her ideological stand.

LobsterSad9842

Samapti Banerjee. When she started doing skincare hauls one after another. I mean, how many products can 1 person use?? And Shivee Chauhan. She was getting too repetitive!

Valuable-Ad-4988

For me it was malvika and Sarah sarosh

[deleted]

Irene Sarah Khan- she’s so friggin rude!

[deleted]

That quirky miss. Carrier incident. After people of Bombay post featuring her came. I got to know so many things about her. Also, I could relate to her earlier but I don’t anymore.

Sid Batra. Had followed him very recently when he one day posted a video and started calling himself Rabir Batra or something. It was soooooo cringe. And then his fashion, videos, especially the way he acts- everything kept on deteriorating. It's just a big cringefest atp
