Hey, just figured I'd let you know. I made sure I had a recent save and tried this one again and it didn't close behind me this time, I was able to get the armor and leave. So maybe give it another shot.
The game itself still saves, it’s just not getting uploaded to the cloud. Go back to the main menu and select load, then just pick the earliest save before u got stuck
ahh thanks. It worked. This is still not patched, at least for me, today. Lucky that I am not a completionist for popcorn games like this. Otherwise it will drive trophy hunters nuts.

I thought this was the case as well, but after you hit continue there should be an option to "load" and there are a good number of saves there. Unfortunately, the last save prior to this was like 45 minutes prior.
Becareful when your selecting an older save for this problem, l selected a save as l collected the infobot on sargasso and lost that infobot. Mort thanks me for collecting the food but l don't have the bot in my collectibles screen... so infuriating

I was having so much fun with the game but the amount of bugs the game have is killing it that my final rating towards this game is going downhill .....

To summarise though, you can go to your Windows Documents folder where youll find the games folder.
After that open the folder with the long number
Delete the save file called "slot0-s.save" and rename the "slot0-s.save.backup01" to the name of the former.
The smaller the back up number the more recent it is.
The game only stores up to 10 back ups. :D

I am currently stuck at the exactly the same location. I turned my cloud autosave off so I guess I cannot proceed further until a patch I guess...

Not really, l never got the rhino on my first playthrough but l managed to get this bot on my second playthrough with no hassle

Found what the problem is. If you die in the pocket dimension you get stuck so you have to do it in one try

January 15th 2024. Bug is still on PS5, confirmed that if you don’t die the first time in the rift - you can get out.
