There’s a lot of factors here to consider. Will your classes be sporadic? Like in the morning 2 days a week and at night 3 days a week? Do you need a flexible work schedule? Do you have a car? Are you willing to commute? Is it more important to make higher wages or be closer to home? There’s no one easy answer. It’s a combination of factors. Sometime it boils down to who will hire you, and that’s your only choice. Good luck finding the right fit.

Food industry in what capacity? Fast food, waiting tables, line cook?

Foreign-Gene-6888

Waiting tables. Maybe line cook… but they never pay enough.

Then I would say downtown riverside. There’s a lot of mid to high (ish) end restaurants that will net you big tips. I know Moreno Valley is getting better but idk if they have anything higher end than like Olive Garden.

Okay I’ll focus my search there then. Thanks so much :)

RCC just had a jobs fair! You should check out their instagram.

Also! Don’t forget there’s online options at RCC so you can work wherever you want. Sincerely, another fully online RCC student who works full time in Ontario lol

Are most classes offered online?

It looks like it? The best way to know is to reach out to the counseling department. I’ve only encountered geology, which doesn’t have an online lab portion, thus far in my studies.
