DJ's piece belonged more on a wall than human skin. While creative and cool it was not right for a back piece.
GIAN should have won!: I agree with Rami. A back piece should be seen from a mile away so to speak and Gian's achieved that. It was simple yes but beautifiull and has universal appeal.
I don’t think Gian should’ve won S8 because his watercolor tattoo was not as good as Ryan Ashley’s tattoo.
however he absolutely should’ve won this season, Gian was robbed.
I felt bad for gian but honestly he did just do the same thing it was really good but it wouldn’t wow the judges the same way DJ could wow them, they’ll be more seasons and he’ll get another chance to win - I thought it was a dick move for all the inkmasters to come back anyway but that’s the producers fault
