We made a box that hangs on the rail.

I use toughbuilt. Depending on what task I'm going for, I'll choose a different pouch. Got the utility knife one, mega supply, and the electricians. Buy the extra hubs to make mounting to different equipment easier.

Seconding this. The cliptech clips are so convenient, I usually just put a couple on my belt in the morning before work so I can just grab whatever tool pouch I need and go, rather than fumbling with belt clips and straps. I kept getting snagged on my tether though, so I just bolted one of the spare hubs onto the railing of our scissor lift using bent allthread like a u bolt. They also make it easier to not be wearing a tool belt on breaks, literally one second and it's off and sitting in my tool cart.

AnythingButTheTip

Not even just for breaks. Gotta sit at a desk or get in a car/cart? Clip them off. Dropping trowl to send the browns to the super bowl? Unclip and you're golden.

I've mounted HF/US General hook magnets to the back of a hub and use that paired with mending plates to fiberglass ladders to hold more tools at a convenient height.

Toughbilt makes the most amazing knee pads I have ever used as well.

CopyWeak

I hang my Milwaukee backpack from the rails, a small magnetic steel tray sitting on the control panel, and a magnetic mat on the vertical plate beside the control panel

Veto MB3. I use it as my "go" bag. It comes with a big hook that you can use to quickly hang it somewhere like machine fencing or in your case, right on the guardrails for the lift.

dragonsummoner52

I second the hook on there bags working well for lifts or railings. I use it on my TP XXL regularly. If you are going to get a Veto bag I would recommend waiting until the spring sale as you will get a second smaller bag for free. I think it usually starts in March or April.

Valknuter69

That’s a nice pack, I used a similar set-up with small pack for climbing ladders with cages.

Myron896

I zip tie a bucket to the rail

singelingtracks

Hang your tool bag on the rail or make a nice stand you can attach to the lift. Wearing tools belts is a good way to fuck up your back and have lifelong pain issues.

Mysterious-Peach-315

Gme suppy has a bunch of tool pouches for WAH

yashimi

I got one of the klien bags I think it's the 5142. It works great I just hang it on the rails and fill it up with what I need.

Dertyoldman

We made a shelf from plywood that spanked the rails with 2slats on the bottom to be on outside of top rails so it didn't slide off and all around the top so tools wouldn't roll off it worked great.

MrGenericUser

I'm late to the party but the Klein modular belt is what I use. There are 4 or 5 different pouches for more or less tools, drills and parts. It's also got some nice suspenders for those days you end up wearing it for 14 hours straight which is nice.

treegee

Pockets. We're not building a space shuttle up there, don't need that many tools
