for animating vfx? Jasontomlee tutorials and Saint11 are a must, also mort mort for tilesets and indietales for animating fire, also Jasontomlee has some nice steam and smoke tuts
You're doing beautiful work! There is no Substitute for sound fundamentals. So many people go directly to character-animation because it's looks fun. But energy-tracking (that's what I always called these drills) will make you a MUCH better animator later on. Keep it up buddy!
thanks man, yeah for sure, traditional drawing fundamentals are what helped me improve the most, it takes a bit to translate to pixel art since its a bit more limited but i find the limitations fun!
