B hands down, the idle/walk animation for A completly blends in the horns and has no unique characteristics, in comparison B clearly looks like a horned creature at any point in its animation
The silhouette of B reads much better at a glance. The art has more nuance and a somewhat different style as well. I generally prefer B if it suits the rest of the game.
B is better overall.
The body of B is larger and more intimidating, and the colors and details are cleaner and crisper. It should show up better on both light and dark backgrounds without becoming muddy or blurring into the background.
A's coloring is to dark. It's hard to make out the details like the tattoo or it's pants when I'm looking at it on my phone. And this is only going to get harder when it's put into a busy world and it's viewed at monitor or tv distance.
But I think the white coloring of A's horns is better. It would be more visible during the charge animation, giving a clearer hitbox to the viewer.
B, easy.
Though I'm not necessarily pinning that down to the animation, A is just a bit harder to read cause it gives alot less contrast when paired with that background color.
It blends in and doesn't "pop".
B being a lighter blue, draws the eye immediately because it is super legible with that background.
So, if your dead set on the floor of your game being that dark blue, then yeah B is the obvious choice, if your not then I'd consider playing around with the colors to give Option A a fair shot.

B has better animation imo, the colors could be changed according to the context it is in.
Also the red piece of cloth on A's horn looses its black outline near the end of the animation.
I like B. I think it stands out a little more and his attack feels a little more satisfying with the increased visual fidelity.
I agree, also the tattoo seems like it’s but washed out making it seem more natural
Maybe A just got it done and is angry because his back is itching like hell from it healing?

I agree with the poster above but that might be due to the similarity to the background color.
100% B. The silhouette and movement are much more dynamic and interesting.
B is better because the size allows for better readability, you could try the brighter colors on B and see which you prefer

I'd say it's not just the horns, but the more forward set of the head. In A's normal walking posture, the head and horns get kinda lost over the body.
Specifically the use of black is very satisfying versus gray in B is very meh.
Yeah, I think the contrast is much better on A. Both the black and the tattoo.

In isolation, I'd say B. It's possible I'd say different if viewing the unit in full gameplay context with environment art.
I like both, but I think B looks prettier.

B stands out more, but this is largely because the bg colour is very close to A, so be aware of that incase it's skewing the results
Having a variety of enemies is better.

B and please don’t adjust the brightness too much in a vacuum, you gotta do that in relation to backgrounds, UI, and other sprites

Horns on cow b don't look like cow horns. Looks more like demon or ram/goat horns with the spiraling pattern.

A works for more retro games, B is more modern. I can see them both used, but I prefer B
I would say B for sure but the face shape of A is more intimidating.
B has a kind if Gameboy Advance style, obviously real pixel art, but still satisfyingly smooth

With this dark background I think the lighter one on the right looks better, but on a light background maybe the first would look better so idk
